Scale 1:5,977,382. This layer is image 4 of 4 total images of the four sheet source map, representing the northwest portion of the map. Covers also a small portion of Europe and the Middle East. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Africa Sinusoidal projected coordinate system.
