Resumo

Ritual Prayer in Arabic with instructions on number of prostration cycles (rakaʻahs) to be performed during each of the five prayer times.

Title provided by cataloger.

Foreign paper (watermark not clearly visible). Pages in very poor condition, water-stained, worm-eaten with frayed edges.

24 x 17 cm. (20 x 13 cm.).

Written in black, 13-15 lines per page.

Originally stab-sewn; subsequently bound as multiple sections sewn on cloth tapes; binding in poor condition; quarter-cloth and paper covered hardboard covers; originally covered with marbleized paper and ajrak-style cloth.

Writing commenced on 11 Bhedharvā [Bhadrapad] 1915 s./1858 (f. 8r), completed on 28 Fāgan [Phalgun] 1922 s./1865 (f. 115v).
