This paper presents an educational proposal to use an educational software for the teaching of mathematics, following in the conduct of activities, the main aspects of sociocultural theory of Vygotsky. For this, it chose the Poly educational software, with which were developed teaching and learning activities for the polyhedra content provided in the São Paulo State Mathematics curriculum for the 7th year of elementary school. The objectives of this pedagogical proposal are to stimulate situations of social interaction among students and between students and the teacher, using an educational software as a mediator instrument and present a different way of using digital technology in math classes, aiming production of mathematical knowledge

This research presents an investigation about the relevance of visualization in teaching geometry. Our interest turns to analyzing the use of technology in teaching geometry, seeking to highlight their contribution to learning. The students of today - second decade of the 21st century - require that, each time more, the school move towards the integration of technologies for teaching since tablets, smartphone, netbook, notebook are items present on daily life of most students. Thereby, we investigate, taking the phenomenological orientation, the potential of educational software, especially the Geogebra 3D, directed at teaching math and favoring the work with the geometry viewing. At work we bring some theoretical considerations about the importance of viewing for the geometric learning and the use of technologies. We build an intervention proposal for the classroom of the 7th year of elementary school with tasks aimed at visual exploration and allow the teacher to work the concept of volume of geometric solids

This text presents the research developed with students of the 5th year of elementary school at a public school in the city of Taubaté-SP, involved in solving problems involving the Mental Calculation. The read authors show that the Mental Calculation is relevant for the production of mathematical knowledge as it favors the autonomy of students, making it the most critical. Official documents that guide educational practices, such as the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais also emphasize that working with mental arithmetic should be encouraged as it has the potential to encourage the production of mathematical knowledge by the student. In this research work Completion of course the tasks proposed to students, who constituted the fieldwork to production data, were designed, developed and analyzed in a phenomenological approach. The intention, the research was to understand the perception of students in the face of situations that encourage them to implement appropriate technical and mental calculation procedures. We analyze how students express and realize the strategies for mental calculation in the search for solution to problem situations

This paper addresses the democratic school management within the school organizations. For this, initially made brief remarks on labor relations, the development of administrative and organizational theories. Later, we reflect on how the se labor relations are organized in the educational environment and what education theoretical contributions to the development of school management in Brazil. Therefore, we discuss the Brazilian educational policies that postulate and legitimate democratic school management. Studies of everyday guided the theoretical basis of this work, we wonder what school subject dealing with the discourse of democratic and participative management. Forward the hypothesis that participatory management should be a prominent space in schools, the aim of this study was to investigate the school management of a municipal school of Youth and Adult Education, which brings in your organization pedagogical foundation and educational principles espoused by Paul Freire. The specific objectives of the study are: a) to investigate and describe how is the organization's management of school youth and adults; b) understand the role of managers; c) check how teachers and administrators understand the process of managing this school. From a methodological point of view the daily life of the studies led this work to procedures and qualitative analysis of ethnographic referring to practices that have occurred in adult education school along with the theoretical foundation. Participated in this research members of the school management group and four teachers of Youth and Adult Education rooms. The results obtained showed that dialogue and democracy go together, that the school is an organization with different world views, which need to be primarily present in the identity of the schools. This work aims to understand the multimedia Learning Objects (LO's) developed within the CONDIGITAL project, subsidized by the federal government. The CONDIGITAL aimed to encourage the production and the use of media in teaching in high school classrooms. This work presents a reflection on the contribution of media to the construction of significant learning of student users. The research was conducted through a literature study. Therefore, it was considered the work of some researchers related to the study of the potential of these technologies in education, such as Valente (1995), Tauroco (2007) and Mussoi (2010). These readings made possible to discern some common evaluation criteria that may be used as parameters to analyze the quality of these media as educational tools. The theme of exploration is guided by a research on the motivation of the mentioned project and on its amplitude and its results, which is directed later to the LO's developed by UNICAMP team, particularly in the Mathematics productions developed by the M³ project, some of the which are presented and evaluated in this monograph
