Bio-pedagogy is built on praxis, i.e. the interrelationship between reflection and innovative action where these two merge in the construction of senses to generate knowledge. Then, the following question arises: How is teaching understood? How can practice be renovated from the action-reflection-action in a recurring manner and in life itself? A way to search for those answers is the systematization of experiences –a modality of qualitative research. It promotes the transformation of a common practice, based on knowledge building by holistic approaches to the educational process complexity. The systematization of bio-pedagogical experiences involves self-organization, joy, uncertainty and passion; it respects freedom and autonomy, and generates relational spaces, which promote creative processes in learning.

This paper presents the results of a qualitative study aimed at analyzing the teacher’s role in promoting awareness and management of emotions in fifth-graders, as competencies of emotional intelligence. This resulted in a very significant study since, from the psychopedagogic perspective, it aims at breaking with the traditional role of teachers exclusively focused on transmitting knowledge, leaving aside the much-needed emotional support. Children demonstrated a poor vocabulary, as well as difficulty to identify some emotions and differentiate between them. This means a limitation for children to be aware of their own emotions and to control them.  As a conclusion, it is important to maximize the emotional capacities of students; it should be a primary task in the education centers, where teachers play a key role as a model and as a promoter of emotional intelligence.

Abstract: In this article, the author tries to expose the conditions under which the Nicaraguan emigrants are inserted in agricultural activities in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.   The study is conceived as a qualitative research that looks for primarily to recompose the experience lived by the emigrants and, starting from there, to extract conclusions that throw light on the conditions of life, and the labor relationships that settle down between the emigrants and the employing companies. PoliEstudio 1.0 is a computational tool, with free license, created to work with polynomial expressions in one variable and it was created by a team in which the authors of this article are part of. This article documents the qualitative validation performed to this software which main objective was to bring to the Costa Rican Educational System a validated educational software that can solve, partially, the problems that nowadays exists in the mathematic education of secondary students, particularly in the topics related to polynomial expressions in one variable and specifically to those students who are in eighth grade.
