Our motherland has large area of maritime space. Searching and developing ocean becomes more and more important. So Ocean Bottom Seismometer (OBS) as an absolutely necessary equipment can be used in many oceanic fields. OBS not only is an important instrument for discovering structure of lithosphere of ocean bottom, but also plays a main role of oceanic geophysical exploration. The paper introduces my relational work. The MCI micro-power broad frequency seismometer was developed independently. Its power dissipation is less than 300mW. It has some merits including miniature volumeN light mass and cheap price. It is an ideal device not only for the collection high-resolution natural seismic data, but also for the fields of seismic sounding and engineering seismology. Many new high technique were applied to develop this instrument including over-sampling A/D converter, high performance 32bit Micro Process Unit and Flash memory with smart-media interface. Base on the achievement, I have accomplished the showpiece of OBS, which is applied to the deepwater oil and gas geophysical exploration. Because of micro-power dissipation, the seismograph and the sonar releaser can be integrated into a sphere cabin. By this means, the instrument's frequency of resonance and frequency of couple are improved obviously. The data acquisition system of OBS is improved from MCI seismometer. The capacity of flash memory is enlarge from 1G bytes to 8G bytes. The advance MPU in data acquisition system is used to integrate other function modules such as sonar, GPS, compass and digital transmitter.

On the basis of the Local Equilibrium Model (LEM), fine particles with large Richardson-Zaki exponent n show, under certain conditions during bed expansion and collapse, different dynamic behavior from particles with small n. For an expansion process there may be a concentration discontinuity propagating upward from the distributor, and, on the contrary, for a collapse process there may be a progressively broadening and upward-propagating continuous transition zone instead of discontinuity. The predictions of the bed height variation and the discontinuity trace have been validated experimentally.

SPEM(software process engineering metamodel)是国际标准化组织制定的标准元模型,正日益成为软件过程建模领域的行业标准,但在过程执行方面,SPEM还存在不足.将软件过程看作是一种特殊的工作流,提出了一种应用工作流运行机制支持软件过程执行的方法.通过将SPEM模型转换为XPDL(XML process definition language)模型,利用XPDL引擎支持SPEM模型的执行.制定了SPEM和XPDL之间的映射规则,设计了转换算法并开发了转换引擎.该方法被应用在SoftPM项目中,成功地基于XPDL引擎Shark实现了对软件过程模型的执行支持.

Sand storm is a serious environmental threat to humans. Sand particles are transported by saltation and suspension, causing soil erosion in one place and deposition in another. In order to prevent and predict sand storms, the causes and the manners of particle motions must be studied in detail. In this paper a standard k-epsilon model is used for the gas phase simulation and the discrete element method (DEM) is used to predict the movements of particles using an in-house procedure. The data are summarized in an Eulerian-Eulerian regime after simulation to get the statistical particle Reynolds stress and particle collision stress. The results show that for the current case the Reynolds stress and the air shear stress predominate in the region 20-250 mm above the initial sand bed surface. However, in the region below 3 mm, the collision stress must be taken into account in predicting particle movement. A novel amorphous thermoplastic polyimide (PTI) is being developed as a potential matrix resin for advanced composites. This paper describes the manufacture of the resin, prepreg, and processing of the composite. The chemical and physical behavior of the resin during the processing was determined by infrared spectroscopy and rheology. The influence of processing conditions on the composite properties was investigated. Mechanical properties of the unidirectional carbon fiber/PTI laminates were also presented.

Rock heterogeneity plays an important role in rock fracturing processes. However, because fracturing is a dynamic process and it is very difficult to quantify materials' heterogeneity, most of the theories dealing with local failure were based on the homogeneity assumption, very few involving stress distribution heterogeneity and successive local failure due to rock heterogeneity. Therefore, based on various references, the author studied the laws and mechanism of influences of heterogeneity on rock fracturing processes, under the frame of the project "Study on Associate Mechanism between Rock Mass Fracture and Strength Failure", funded by Nation Natural Science Fund. the research consists of such aspects as size effect correction to rock fracture parameters, SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) real-time observation on rock samples under different loads, micro-hardness testing, and numerical simulating based on microstructure. There are some important research results as followed: 1. Unifying formula for nonlinear and non-singularity correction, simplifying the complex process of correcting size effect on rock fracture toughness. 2. Using the methods of micro-hardness testing mineral grain and random jointing micrograph digitizing mineral slice, preliminarily solving the problems of numerical simulating and quantitatively describing the heterogeneous strength and its distribution rules, which has certain innovation and better practicability. 3. Based on SEM real-time observation, studying the micro-process of fracturing in marble, sandstone, granite, and mushroom stone samples with premanufactured cracks under tension, pure-shear and compression-shear conditions. Strength Failure was observed: there was some kind failure occurred before Fracture Failure in marble and sandstone samples with double cracks under pure-shearing. It is believed that the reason of strength failure developing is that stress concentrations is some locations are larger than that near the end of pre-manufactured cracks. 4. Based on the idea that rock macro-constitute is composed of complex microstructure, the promising method used to handle heterogeneity considers not only the heterogeneity of the rock medium, but also the heterogeneity of the rock structure. 5. Putting forward two types of rock strength failure: medium strength failure induced by heterogeneity of rock medium and structure strength failure induced by heterogeneity rock structure. 6. By evaluating potential fracture cell with proper failure priority, the numerical simulating method solved the problem of simulating the coextensive strength failure and fracture failure with convention strength failure rules. The result of numerical analysis shows that the influence of heterogeneity on rock fracturing processes is evident. The sinuosity of the rock fracture-propagation path, and the irregular fluctuation of loading displacement curve, is mainly controlled by the heterogeneity of rock medium.

Surface micro-roughness, surface chemical properties, and surface wettability are three important aspects of wafer surfaces during a wafer cleaning process, which determine the bonding quality of ordinary direct wafer bonding. In this study, InP wafers are divided into four groups and treated by different chemical processes. Subsequently, the characteristics of the treated InP surfaces are carefully studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and contact angle measurements. The optimal wafer treatment method for wafer bonding is determined by comparing the results of the processes as a whole. This optimization is later evaluated by a scanning electronic microscope (SEM), and the ridge waveguide 1.55 mu m Si-based InP/InGaAsP multi-quantum-well laser chips are also fabricated.
