为降低成形过程的热应力,抑制成形过程裂缝的产生,减小成形过程试样和基板的翘曲变形,激光金属沉积成形往往需要进行基板预热,因此研究不同基板预热温度对激光金属沉积成形过程温度场的影响具有非常重要的意义.根据有限元分析中的"单元生死"技术,利用APDL编程建立了基板预热对激光金属沉积成形过程温度场影响的三维多道多层数值模拟模型,详细分析了基板未预热和分别预热到200,300,400,500,600℃时对沉积成形过程温度场和温度梯度的影响.通过中国科学院沈阳自动化研究所自行研制的激光金属沉积成形系统和基板预热系统,在与模拟过程相同的参数下,利用镍基合金粉末在基板未预热和分别预热到300,400,500,560℃时进行了成形试验,试验结果跟数值模拟结果吻合较好.

为降低沉积过程的热应力,抑制成形过程中裂缝的产生,研究基板预热对激光金属沉积成形(Laser metal deposition shaping,LMDS)过程热应力的影响具有非常重要的意义。根据有限元分析中的"单元生死"思想,利用APDL(ANSYS parametric design language)编程建立多道多层激光金属沉积成形过程的数值模拟模型,深入探讨基板未预热和预热到400℃时对成形过程热应力的影响。计算结果表明,基板预热到400℃可以显著降低成形过程中试样的热应力变化波动性,试样的Von Mises热应力最大值可降低10%左右,其中x方向热应力最大值可降低8.5%左右,z方向热应力最大值可降低8.1%左右。在与模拟过程相同的条件下,利用自行研制的激光金属沉积成形设备进行了成形试验,成形试验的结果与模拟结果基本吻合。

Seepage control in karstic rock masses is one of the most important problems in domestic hydroelectric engineering and mining engineering as well as traffic engineering. At present permeability assessment and leakage analysis of multi-layer karstic rock masses are mainly qualitative, while seldom quantitative. Quantitative analyses of the permeability coefficient and seepage amount are conducted in this report, which will provide a theoretical basis for the study of seepage law and seepage control treatment of karstic rocks. Based on the field measurements in the horizontal grouting galleries of seepage control curtains on the left bank of the Shuibuya Hydropower Project on the Qingjiang river, a hydraulic model is established in this report, and the computation results will provide a scientific basis for optimization of grouting curtain engineering. Following issues are addressed in the report. (1) Based on the in-situ measurements of fissures and karstic cavities in grouting galleries, the characteristics of karstic rock mass is analyzed, and a stochastic structural model of karstic rock masses is set up, which will provide the basis for calculation of the permeability and leakage amount of karstic rock mass. (2) According to the distribution of the measured joints in the grouting galleries and the stochastic results obtained from the stochastic structural model of karstic rock mass between grouting galleries, a formula for computation of permeability tensor of fracturing system is set up, and a computation program is made with Visual Basic language. The computation results will be helpful for zoning of fissured rock masses and calculation of seepage amount as well as optimization of seepage control curtains. (3) Fractal theory is used to describe quantitatively the roughness of conduit walls of karstic systems and the sinuosity of karstic conduits. It is proposed that the roughness coefficient of kastic caves can be expressed by both fractal dimension Ds and Dr that represent respectively the extension sinuosity of karstic caves and the roughness of the conduit walls. The existing formula for calculating the seepage amount of karstic conduits is revised and programmed. The seepage amount of rock masses in the measured grouting galleries is estimated under the condition that no seepage control measures are taken before reservoir impoundment, and the results will be helpful for design and construction optimization of seepage curtains of the Shuibuya hydropower project. This report is one part of the subject "Karstic hydrogeology and the structural model and seepage hydraulics of karstic rock masses", a sub-program of "Study on seepage hydraulics of multi-layer karstic rock masses and its application in seepage control curtain engineering", which is financially supported by the Hubei Provincial key science and technology programme.

In this paper, multi-hole cooling is studied for an oxide/oxide ceramic specimen with normal injection holes and for a SiC/SiC ceramic specimen with oblique injection holes. A special purpose heat transfer tunnel was designed and built, which can provide a wide range of Reynolds numbers (10(5)similar to 10(7)) and a large temperature ratio of the primary flow to the coolant (up to 2.5). Cooling effectiveness determined by the measured surface temperature for the two types of ceramic specimens is investigated. It is found that the multi-hole cooling system for both specimens has a high cooling efficiency and it is higher for the SiC/SiC specimen than for the oxide/oxide specimen. Effects on the cooling effectiveness of parameters including blowing ratio, Reynolds number and temperature ratio, are studied. In addition, profiles of the mean velocity and temperature above the cooling surface are measured to provide further understanding of the cooling process. Duplication of the key parameters for multi-hole cooling, for a representative combustor flow condition (without radiation effects), is achieved with parameter scaling and the results show the high efficiency of multi-hole cooling for the oblique hole, SiC/SiC specimen. An optical communication scheme of 2-D pattern transfer based on imaging optics for submarine laser uplink communication (SLUC) is suggested. Unlike the methods aiming at avoiding neighboring crosstalk used in traditional multi-channel optical beam transferring, we make full use of the overlapping of each spreading beam other than controlling divergence effect of each beam to avoid interference noise. The apparent parameters have been introduced to simplify theoretical analysis of optical pattern transfer problem involving underwater condition, with the help of which the complex beam propagation inside two kinds of mediums can be easily reduced to brief beam transfer only inside air medium. In this paper, optical transmission path and receiver terminal optics geometry have been described in detail. The link range equation and system uplink performance analysis have also been given. At last, results of a proof-of-concept experiment indicate good feasibility of the proposed SLUC model. © 2007 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.

A new self-assembled quantum dots system where InGaAs dots are formed on InAlAs wetting layer and embedded in GaAs matrix has been fabricated. The photoluminescence linewidth increases with increasing temperature, which is very different from normal In(Ga)As/GaAs quantum dots. The results are attributed to a higher energy of the wetting layer which breaks the carrier transfer channel between dots and keeps the dots more isolated from each other.

We have developed a new self-assembled quantum dot system where InGaAs dots are formed on an InAlAs wetting layer and embedded in the GaAs matrix. The structure is realized by special sample designation and demonstrated by low-temperature photoluminescence measurements. In contrast to the traditional InAs/GaAs quantum dots dominated by the ensemble effect, the temperature dependence of the photoluminescence of such a quantum dot structure behaves as decoupled quantum dots. This can be attributed to the enhanced potential confinement for the dots provided by a higher-energy barrier in the wetting layer.

Based on the Buttiker dephasing model, we propose an analytical scattering matrix approach to the long-range electron transfer phenomena. The present efficient scheme smoothly interpolates between the superexchange and the sequential hopping mechanisms. Various properties such as the drastic dephasing-assisted enhancement and turnover behaviors are demonstrated in good agreement with those obtained via the dynamical reduced density-matrix methods. These properties are further elucidated as results of the interplay among the dephasing strength, the tunneling parameter, and the bridge length of the electron transfer system. We have fabricated a new self-assembled quantum dot system where InGaAs dots are formed on InAlAs wetting layer and embedded in GaAs matrix. The low-temperature photoluminescence and atomic force microscopy measurements confirm the realization of the structure. In contrast to traditional InAs/Ga(Al)As quantum dots, the temperature dependence of the photoluminescence of the dots in such a structure exhibits an electronically decoupled feature due to a higher energy level of the wetting layer which keeps the dots more isolated from each other. One novel neuron with variable nonlinear transfer function is firstly proposed, It could also be called as subsection transfer function neuron. With different transfer function components, by virtue of multi-thresholded, the variable transfer function neuron switch on among different nonlinear excitated state. And the comparison of output's transfer characteristics between it and single-thresholded neuron will be illustrated, with some practical application experiments on Bi-level logic operation, at last the simple comparison with conventional BP, RBF, and even DBF NN is taken to expect the development foreground on the variable neuron.. The novel nonlinear transfer function neuron could implement the random nonlinear mapping relationship between input layer and output layer, which could make variable transfer function neuron have one much wider applications on lots of reseach realm such as function approximation pattern recognition data compress and so on.

A matrix formulation has been developed and applied to simulate large-angle convergent-beam electron diffraction (LACBED) patterns from the Si/GexSi1-x strained layer superlattice (SLS). Good quantitative agreement has been achieved between experimental and simulated patterns. By utilizing dynamical HOLZ line patterns, we demonstrate that an accuracy of better than 0.1% can be achieved in the determination of the averaged lattice constant of a SLS, and the averaged number of layers of atoms within one period of SLS can be determined up to a single monolayer.

1.3 mu m strained-layer multi-quantum wells complex-coupled distributed feedback lasers with a wide temperature range of 20 to 100 degrees C are reported. The low threshold current of 10mA and high single-facet slope efficiency of 0.3mW/mA were obtained for an as cleaved device. The single mode yield was as high as 80%.

Numerical simulations of the multi-shock interactions observable around hypersonic vehicles were carried out by solving Navier-Stokes equations with the AUSMPW scheme and the new type of the IV interaction created by two incident shock waves was investigated in detail. Numerical results show that the intersection point of the second incident shock with the bow shock plays important role on the flow pattern, peak pressures and heat fluxes. In the case of two incident shocks interacting with the bow shock at the same position, the much higher peak pressure and more severe heat transfer rate are induced than the classical IV interaction. The phenomenon is referred to as the multi-shock interaction and higher requirements will be imposed on thermal protection systems.
