We present an entanglement purification protocol for photonic mixed entangled states based on the two-mode polarization nondemolition parity detectors. Without the use of the controlled-NOT (CNOT) operations, the efficiency of our protocol can nearly approach that of the CNOT protocol. The total successful probability of our protocol can be nearly enhanced to the quantity twice as large as that of the linear-optics-based protocol. Besides, our protocol adopts common photon detectors rather than the sophisticated single-photon detectors required in the linear-optics-based protocol.

报道了一种新型实用的用单根光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)实现温度和应变分离传感的技术。当光纤光栅一部分包层直径变小时,整个光栅可以看成由两个周期相同但直径不同的子光栅连接而成。理沦分析和实验都证实了这两个子光栅具有相同的温度敏感性和不同的应变敏感性.由此实现光纤光栅传感器中温度和应变两参数的分离测量,而且这两个子光栅的中心波长间距可以直接测量应变大小.温度变化不影响所测量的应变值。实验中光栅的一部分包层直径被HF酸腐蚀到82μm.获得了两子光栅应变响应系数分别为0.00201nm/με.0.000858nm/μ

Sapphire crystals, 140 mm in diameter and 90 turn in height, have been grown by temperature gradient techniques (TGT). The growth direction of the boule was fixed by means of Lane X-ray diffraction. A prominent 204 nm absorption band in TGT-Al2O3. which does not appear in single crystals grown by Czochralski method has been studied. Analysis further substantiates the F-center model of this band. Two relatively weaker bands absorbing at 232 nm and 254 nm were ascribed to F+ centers. F-type centers concentration was determined using Smakula's equation. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. HfO2 films were deposited by electron beam evaporation with different deposition parameters. The properties such as refractive index, weak absorption, and laser induced damage thresholds (LIDTs) of these films have been investigated. It was found that when pulsed Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser is used to investigate LIDT of films: Metallic character is the main factor that influences LIDTs of films obtained from Hf starting material by ion-assisted reaction, and films prepared with higher momentum transfer parameter P have fewer metallic character; The ion-assisted reaction parameters are key points for preparing high LIDT films and if the parameters are chose properly, high LIDT films can be obtained. 菊科植物是种子植物中最大的科, 全世界约1000余属25000-30000种, 广布于全世界, 我国约有232属近3000种。菊科种类繁多, 其中许多种富于经济价值。本项成果包括中国植物志第74卷、第75卷及第76卷第1分册和32篇论文,对斑鸠族至菊族共7族120属670种植物做了全面系统的分类学研究,弄清其种类,纠正了前人的错误,新发现一个亚族及太行菊画笔等7个新属和3个新记录的属, 共发表了150个新种, 提出了各属的分类系统,对所有的属种的形态特征、检索、分布、生境及经济用途均分别作了详尽的描述和讨论。该研究成果为科研、教学及农林牧医提供了科学依据,也为保护、开发和可持续利用我国的植物资源提供了重要资料。
