生态足迹方法自提出以来受到广泛关注,其缺点也受到一些学者的批评。Zhao Sheng等2005年提出能值足迹法,弥补了生态足迹法以土地生产能力为限制的缺点。论文提出区域能值足迹法,以弥补其改进方法不能够反映区域实际情况和技术进步带来影响的不足。最后,以岷江上游1982到2002年为例应用3种方法进行计算分析。结果表明研究区生态足迹呈缓慢上升趋势,生态足迹方法计算结果<能值足迹<区域能值足迹;生态承载力计算结果显示生态足迹与区域能值足迹方法结果呈平缓下降趋势,而能值足迹方法结果呈不规则变动。区域能值足迹法能够考虑到区域实际情况和技术进步,但它不能完全代替生态足迹方法,将其结合应用将得到更多信息。

高加索纹枯状革菌Hypochnicium caucasicum Parmasto和粉状杰克革菌Jacksonomyces furfurellus(Bres.) Sheng H. Wu & Z.C.Chen采自湖南省和广西壮族自治区,高加索纹枯状革菌是中国新记录种,粉状杰克菌在中国大陆首次报道。本文根据采集的材料对这两个种进行了详细的描述和显微结构绘图。

Rapid urbanization and industrialization in southern Jiangsu Province have consumed a huge amount of arable land. Through comparative analysis of land cover maps derived from TM images in 1990, 2000 and 2006, we identified the trend of arable land loss. It is found that most arable land is lost to urbanization and rural settlements development. Urban settlements, rural settlements, and industrial park-mine-transport land increased, respectively, by 87 997 ha (174.65%), 81 041 ha (104.52%), and 12 692 ha (397.99%) from 1990 to 2006. Most of the source (e.g., change from) land covers are rice paddy fields and dryland. These two covers contributed to newly urbanized areas by 37.12% and 73.52% during 1990-2000, and 46.39% and 38.86% during 2000-2006. However, the loss of arable land is weakly correlated with ecological service value, per capita net income of farmers, but positively with grain yield for some counties. Most areas in the study site have a low arable land depletion rate and a high potential for sustainable development. More attention should be directed at those counties that have a high depletion rate but a low potential for sustainable development. Rural settlements should be controlled and rationalized through legislative measures to achieve harmonious development between urban and rural areas, and sustainable development for rural areas with a minimal impact on the ecoenvironment. A series of full interpenetrating polymer network (full-IPN) films of poly(acrylic acid) (PAA)/poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) were prepared by radical solution polymerization and sequential IPN technology. Attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, swelling properties, mechanical properties, morphology, and glass transition temperature of the films were investigated. FTIR spectra analysis showed that new interaction hydrogen bonds between PVA and PAA were formed. Swelling property of the films in distilled water and different pH buffer solution was studied. Swelling ratio increased with increasing PAA content of IPN films in all media, and swelling ratio decreased with increasing PVA crosslink degree. Tensile strength and elongation at break related not only to the constitution of IPNs but also to the swelling ratio of IPNs.

The recently developed initiation system, the activator generated by electron transfer (AGET) was used in atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) to synthesize well-controlled polyacrylamide in aqueous media at 25 degrees C. The different reducing agents involved ascorbic acid and glucosa; well-controlled polymers were obtained when ascorbic acid was used as water-soluble reducing agent. The polymerizations targeted at degrees of polymerization in the range of 400 resulted in polymers with low polydispersity indices. Moreover, first order plots were linear.

Novel microstructured and pH sensitive poly(acryliac acid-co-2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)/poly(vinyl alcohol) (P(AA-co-HEMA)/PVA) interpenetrating network (IPN) hydrogel films were prepared by radical precipitation copolymerization and sequential IPN technology. The first P(AA-co-HEMA) network was synthesized in the present of IPN aqueous solution by radical initiating, then followed by condensation reaction (Glutaraldehyde as crosslinking agent) within the resultant latex, it formed multiple IPN microstructured hydrogel film. The film samples were characterized by IR, SEM and DSC. Swelling and deswelling behaviors and mechanical property showed the novel multiple IPN nanostuctured film had rapid response and good mechanical property. The IPN films were studied as controlled drug delivery material in different pH buffer solution using cationic compound, crystal violet as a model drug.

Crystal structure of a novel aryl ether ketone polymer poly(aryl ether ketone ether ketone ketone containing meta-phenyl linkage)(PEKEKmK) was determined by means of WAXD and ED. An orthorhombic unit cell is proposed containing two chains with a=0.772 nm, b=0.604 nm and c=2.572 nm. According to the orthorhombic system, the 10 reflections of this polymer were indexed.

The X-ray diffraction patterns of the crystalline aromatic ketone polymer PEKEKmK (aryl ether ketone ether ketone ketone polymer containing meta-phenyl links) have been investigated (for the chemical structure, see Formula). An orthorhombic unit cell is proposed to contain two chains with a = 0.772 nm, b = 0.604 nm and c = 2.572 nm. According to the orthorhombic system, the 11 reflections of this polymer were indexed. Meanwhile, variation in unit cell parameters with crystallization temperatures of PEKEKmK was also investigated. [GRAPHICS]

Poly(ether ketone ether ketone ketone) containing meta-phenylene linkage (PEKEKK(T/I)) was synthesized by electrophilic Friedel-Crafts acylation condensation of 1, 4-diphenoxybenzophenone with terephthaloyl chloride (T) and isophthaloyl chloride (I) with a T/I ratio of 1 and characterized by LR,DSC,TGA and WAXD. PEKEKK(T/I) has two different crystal structures: a conventional Farm I structure, the same as that observed in PEEK and PEK, wich is usually developed from melt crystallization, and a new Form II structure which can be developed from cold crystallization or solvent induced crystallization (by exposing the glassy sample to methylene chloride).

The isothermal melt and cold crystallization kinetics of poly(aryl ether ketone ether ketone ketone) are investigated by differential scanning calorimetry over two temperature regions. The Avrami equation describes the primary stage of isothermal crystallization kinetics with the exponent n approximate to 2 for both melt and cold crystallization. With the Hoffman-Weeks method, the equilibrium melting point is estimated to be 406 degrees C. From the spherulitic growth equation proposed by Hoffman and Lauritzen, the nucleation parameter (K-g) of the isothermal melt and cold crystallization is estimated. In addition, the K-g value of the isothermal melt crystallization is compared to those of the other poly(aryl ether ketone)s. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Fullerenes-extracted soot (FES) is the by-product of fullerenes production. Retention characteristics at different temperatures for 17 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on FES are measured. The adsorption and desorption efficiencies for VOCs on FES adsorbent tubes range from 40.8 to 117%, most of them being 100+/-20%. The values are compared with Tenax GR, an adsorbent commonly used in environmental analysis. FES can be used as an adsorbent of low cost to collect VOCs in environmental samples.
