Análisis de la capacitación del profesorado en formación inicial para resolver problemas de ciencias asociados con la vida cotidiana

[Es]En este trabajo se aborda la problemática detectada como consecuencia del fracaso que presenta gran mayoría del alumnado de la E. U. de Magisterio de Bilbao, futuro profesorado de Educación Primaria (EP), en la aplicación creativa de conocimientos transmitidos en el aula de ciencias, esto es, en la resolución de problemas y en la explicación de fenómenos cotidianos del mundo que nos rodea. Para ello se ha analizado, por un lado, su capacitación en relación a varios tópicos de ciencias incluidos en el Área de Conocimiento del Medio en la EP, presentados en un contexto de ciencia en la vida cotidiana y su autovaloración en relación a su capacitación didáctica para abordarlos en aulas de ciencias escolares y, por otro, la metodología didáctica utilizada en las clases de ciencias que han recibido en etapas educativas previas a la universitaria.

Wage differentials between Permanent and Temporal Contracts: Further Evidence

The main objective of this paper is to estimate wage differentials between permanent and temporal workers for different qualification levels and decompose such differentials to see which factors contribute more to explain them. The data we use is the "Encuesta de Estructura Salarial", a survey carried out in 1995 in all countries of the European Union, which contains very detailed information on wages and other characteristics for about 180.000 workers. The empirical results indicate that (a) the wage gap between permanent and temporal workers increases with qualification and it is smaller for females than for males, (b) when decomposing average wage differentials for each qualification level, we observe that the vast majority of such differential is explainedby differences in characteristics, and in particular by differences in tenure and occupation. With respect to differences in returns, our results indicate that the returns to tenure are higher for temporal workres relative to permanent workers for both males and females and for every qualification level. Returns to occupation are higher for permanent than for temporal workers, and the differenceis particularly high for females.

Análisis de la flexibilidad de la oferta de formación en gestión del País Vasco

El contenido de este trabajo deriva del proyecto de investigación UE-1998-23, «Oferta y Demanda de Formación en Gestión Empresarial para Directivos en la CAPV» y del contrato de investigación «Análisis de la Oferta de Formación en Gestión y en Gestión del Conocimiento». El proyecto era perteneciente a la convocatoria de 1998 de ayudas del Gobierno Vasco a Proyectos de Investigación e Innovacion Tecnológica entre Universidades y Empresas, en su elaboración y desarrollo participaron la Universidad del País Vasco-Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, la Universidad de Deusto (ESTE) y el Cluster del Conocimiento, como empresa.

El autoconcepto social y el rendimiento académico en la educación artística escolar del alumnado preadolescente

[EN] This correlational study aims to analyse the relationship of the social dimension of the selfconcept with age, educational level, sex and with the academic performance, understood as qualification and as artistic understanding of a group of primary and secondary students. The results show, generally, negative relationship between social self-concept and demographic variables, while statistically significant, although of opposite sign, of the social self-concept with the qualification in the field and with the artistic understanding respectively.

Key business factors for eco-innovation: an overview of recent firm-level empirical studies

[ES]Se realizará la certificación energética de la vivienda sita en Ctra. Basurto-Castrejana 23 2ºB, mediante la herramienta CE3x, facilitada por el Gobierno de España. Se proyectarán, además, mejoras técnicas a implementar en el edificio para elevar su calificación energética, las cuales se analizarán tanto técnica como económicamente, eligiendo finalmente la solución óptima.

Certificación de la propia vivienda del alumno y proyecto de posibles mejoras.

[ES]Certificación de la eficiencia energética de un edificio. Introducción de los datos característicos en el programa CE3X y obtención de la calificación energética. Análisis del resultado y estudio, comparación y determinación de una o varias propuestas de mejora. Desarrollo del presupuesto del proyecto global así como el de las distintas opciones de mejora.

Factors behind the wage in the Basque Country

[EN]This project aims to determine the factors which influence workers’ wages in the Basque Country, taking data from the INE (Spanish Statistical Office). In first place, I will decide which variables to choose and describe them. Then they will be used to build a wage model. At this point I will observe their behaviour according to their values and the possible differences between them. Once these variables are described, they will be used to develop an econometric model that will allow to see the different effects of the variables on the endogenous variable, in this case the gross annual wage. Finally, all the analysed data will be taken and examined to draw the final conclusions and see how workers’ age, training or gender affect their salary. [EN]
