G. Wheeler.

The earlier volumes were issued in series as follows: Vols. 1-5 (1834/36-1847/49); n.s., v. 1-5 (1850/1852-1859/1861); 3rd ser., v. 1-5 (1862/1864-1865/1868); 1868-1925 unnumbered; in 1926 a consecutive numbering from the beginning was adopted, with ser. 1-3 renumbered as v. 1-15, 1869-1925 as v. 16-73, and 1926-1932 as v. 74-80.
