Ultrafine zeolite Y crystals (ca. 100-200 nm) have been successfully grown on metakaolin microspheres (< 100 mu m) for which good hydrothermal stability was observed; products were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electronic microscopy and transmission electronic microscopy.

Zeolite KSO1 was successfully synthesized on calcined kaolin microspheres (ca. 60-80 mu m) in situ, and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electronic microscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

Nanostructured ZnO materials are of great significance for their potential applications in photoelectronic devices, light-emitting displays, catalysis and gas sensors. In this paper, we report a new method to produce large area periodical bowl-like micropatterns of single crystal ZnO through aqueous-phase epitaxial growth on a ZnO single crystal substrate. A self-assembled monolayer of polystyrene microspheres was used as a template to confine the epitaxial growth of single crystal ZnO from the substrate, while the growth morphology was well controlled by citrate anions. Moreover, it was found that the self-assembled monolayer of colloidal spheres plays an important role in reduction of the defect density in the epitaxial ZnO layer. Though the mechanism is still open for further investigation, the present result indicates a new route to suppress the dislocations in the fabrication of single crystal ZnO film. A predicable application of this new method is for the fabrication of two-dimensional photonic crystal structures on light emitting diode surfaces.

通过乳液聚合法和无皂乳液聚合法制备了苯乙烯/丙烯酸正丁酯/丙烯酸共聚微球.讨论了乳化剂用量、引发剂用量、功能单体、软硬单体用量比等对微球粒径和形态的影响.利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、傅立叶变换红外光谱仪(FTIR)对微球的粒径、形貌和表面基团进行分析.红外光谱表明,实验室所制备的苯乙烯/丙烯酸正丁酯/丙烯酸共聚微球表面存在丰富的羧基.利用竖片生长法得到自组装的多层胶体微球薄膜.通过对薄膜的反射光谱测量,发现随着湿度的增加,峰位会产生3nm左右的红移.

A parallel plate flow chamber was used to study the interaction force between human IgG (immobilized on a chip surface as ligand) and goat anti-human IgG (immobilized on microspheres surface as receptor). First, it was demonstrated that the binding force between the microspheres and the chip surface came from the bio-specific interaction between the antigen and the antibody. Secondly, it was obtained that the critical shear rate to detach microspheres from the chip surface increases with the ligand surface concentration. Finally, two models to estimate the antigen-antibody bond strength considering bonds' positions were proposed and analyzed.

Liquid mixtures of water and deuterium oxide as the liquid phase, were used to match the density of charged colloidal particles. Kossel diffraction method was used to detect the crystal structures. The experiments under the density-matched (g=0) and unmatched (g=1) conditions are compared to examine the influence of gravity on the crystal structures formed by self-assembly of 110 nm (in diameter) polystyrene microspheres. The result shows that die gravity tends to make the lattice constants of colloidal crystals smaller at lower positions, which indicates that the effect of gravity should be taken into account in the study of the colloidal crystals.

In a Nd:glass microspherical cavity the enhancement and inhibition of spontaneous-emission processes that are due to cavity QED effects have been observed. The rates of the enhanced spontaneous emission are location dependent and reach a maximum value of more than 10(3) times the free-space value. The large enhancement strongly modifies the decay processes of Nd ions in glass, and the radiative properties of Nd:glass have been changed. As a result a new spectrum including new lasing wavelengths in the Nd:glass sphere has been observed.

In this work, The TBS glass microspheres doped with Er3+ for morphology-dependent resonances of upconversion emission were designed. The glass sample components are 25TiO(2)-27BaCO(3)-8Ba(NO3)(2)-6ZnO(2)-9CaCO(3)-5H(3)BO(3)-10SiO(2)-7water glass-3Er(2)O(3) (wt%), and the emission spectra of TBS glass and a TBS glass microsphere (about 48 mum in diameter) were measured under 633 nm excitation and discussed. The strong morphology-dependent resonances of upconversion luminescences in the microsphere were observed. The observed resonances could be assigned by using the well-known Lorenz-Mie Formalism. By vertical sedimentation and oblique titration, silica microspheres were grown in different shapes of concave microzones that were etched on a (100) p-silicon substrate. Through scanning electron microscope observation and optical reflective spectra measurement, sedimentation of microspheres in those microzones was compared. An index was introduced to judge the efficiency of sedimentation. The comparison demonstrates that regular hexagons and triangles facilitate the growth of photonic crystals the most. A glass spherical microcavity only a few microns in diameter embedded with CdSexS1-x quantum dots (QDs) was fabricated using a physical method; it exhibited good optical stability under continuous-wave laser excitation with high power. We investigated the excitation power dependences of the emission intensity and the linewidth of both transverse electric and transverse magnetic resonance peaks of whispering gallery modes. Stimulated emission behaviour of multi-frequency modes is observed at room temperature. The low threshold value and large mode separation makes QD-containing microspheres promising for visible microlaser applications.

Micrometer-sized spherical glass microspheres were fabricated. CdSeS semiconductor nanometer clusters were incorporated into spherical microcavities. When a single microsphere was excited by a laser beam, the whispering gallery mode resonance of the photoluminescence of CdSeS quantum dots in the spherical microcavities was realized by the multiple total internal reflections at the spherical interface. The coupling of restricted electronic and photonic states was realized.

本论文研究了一种制备蛋白类药物缓释微球的纳米吸附-水包油包固体乳化法。模型药物为牛血清白蛋白BSA。首先用纳米二氧化硅吸附溶液中的BSA制备出纳米级的药物颗粒,然后再用水包油包固体(S/O/W)乳化法将该含药粒子用可生物降解的高分子材料包载起来制成蛋白药物控制释放制剂。 纳米材料吸附蛋白药物后的吸附产物仍为纳米粒子。在纳米二氧化硅表面引入不同的功能基团可以改变其Zeta电位从而改变其对BSA的吸附能力,在其表面引入氨基可以使BSA的吸附量由20%提高到35%,引入羧基则使BSA的吸附量降低到11%。在二氧化硅表面接枝低分子量的聚合物均降低其吸附BSA的能力,并且BSA的吸附量随着聚合物接枝量的增加而减少。 将具有不同表面改性的纳米二氧化硅吸附BSA后的吸附产物用水包油包固体乳化法制备成聚合物微球,均具有很高的包裹率,大于90%;并且该释放体系服从Fick扩散机理,载药微球的药物累积释放量与时间的平方根成良好线性关系。在二氧化硅表面接枝低分子量PLLA,可以提高BSA在聚合物微球中分布的均匀性,解决药物释放时的突释现象,使BSA的第一天释放量由25%降低到15%。 另外,初步研究了三种不同的介孔材料对于BSA的吸附能力以及表面具有氨基的介孔二氧化硅吸附BSA后的释放行为。

功能高分子微球由于具有粒径小、比表面积大以及含有多种功能基团,在诸如生物化学及生物医学、微电子工业等领域具有广泛的应用前景。由于其广泛的应用前景,已受到越来越多的重视和研究。本论文是基于对功能高分子微球的制备,及其在固定酶,传感器及自组装等方面的应用研究,主要研究内容和结论如下:1、采用间歇无皂乳液聚合法制备了P(SAA)PAA核一壳纳米高分子微球,对在其上固定胰岛素进行了研究。发现固定胰岛素量随着微球粒径的增大而减小,固定胰岛素活性随固定胰岛素量的增大而降低。2、利用自组装的方法,将表面琉基化功能高分子微球、金纳米粒子、辣根过氧化物酶依次组装在金电极上,构建了一种新型的第三代过氧化氢生物传感器。结果表明,该生物传感器在没有电荷传递介质存在的情况下,对过氧化氢显示了诗良高的灵敏度。另外,该生物传感器还具有良好的童复性和长期稳定性。3、采用后加功能单体的无皂乳液聚合法制备出了St/ANPA共聚发光纳米微球。然后利用自组装的方法,得到了不同于无机及金属粒子的高分子发光纳米微球的二维网络结构,以及直径一民度可控的一维发光纳米线。4、采用后加功能单体的无皂乳液聚合法制备了水分散性的St/PANDMEA共聚荧光纳米微球,此微球可用作化学与生物传感器,能很好的检测溶液中的有机亲电子试剂及抗生物素蛋白。5、采用分散聚合法制备了P(St/DVB)高分子微球。然后利用化学沉积法在P(St/DVB)高分子微球表面沉积Ni和Au。得到了核为P(St/DVB)高分子微球,壳为Ni和Au粒子的复合微球。6、利用种子乳液聚合、萃取和表面修饰的方法制备了一种新型的不同于普通的多孔高分子微球的表面含有琉基的AAOVB共聚中空多孔高分子微球。然后利用自组装的方法,制得过氧化氢生物传感器。该生物传感器检测极限达到0.5μM,检测的线性范围从1.0μM到8mM。
