Los profesionales de enfermería sufren en este momento histórico el impacto de la crisis económica y los cambios en el contexto político y social en lo que se refiere a las políticas de empleo y ajustes salariales. El ambiente de trabajo en las unidades de hospitalización suele ser agobiante y las actividades que realizan los exponen a riesgos específicos tales como: los propios del ambiente, condiciones y tipo de trabajo y las relaciones interpersonales. Definimos la satisfacción laboral como el resultado de la apreciación que cada individuo tiene de su trabajo y la importancia para satisfacer sus necesidades básicas.Objetivo General: Conocer y describir el nivel de satisfacción laboral y la percepción de riesgos en el trabajo que manifiestan los profesionales de Enfermería.Objetivos Específicos: - Describir la percepción de riesgos del ambiente de trabajo - Mostrar el nivel de satisfacción laboral según el tipo y número de pacientes que atienden, antigüedad en la profesión, estabilidad laboral, sexo, edad, situación de pareja, número de hijos,- Describir la satisfacción laboral en cuanto a los recursos con los que cuenta para el cuidado y la seguridad laboral de la institución, al salario que recibe y la cantidad de empleos que tiene, - Determinar la satisfacción laboral con respecto al estímulo que reciben de los superiores, al reconocimiento de los pares, equipo de salud y usuarios.El encuadre metodológico es el siguiente:El tipo de estudio elegido es el considerado correlacional simple ya que busca posibles vínculos entre dos o más variables.El universo lo componen los profesionales de enfermería que se desempeñan en instituciones públicas de salud de la ciudad de Río Cuarto y Córdoba Capital.La técnica de recolección de datos es la encuesta en su modalidad de cuestionario autoadministrado.

Disposar d’informació és imprescindible per a poder prendre decisions correctament. La tendència actual en la pràctica professional és la de valorar el saber utilitzar instruments per a l’obtenció d’evidències científiques. La tecnologia actual posa a l’ abast dels professionals gran quantitat de documents i les eines per recuperar-los. Una de les fronteres que limita la disponibilitat d’ informació és la capacitat dels professionals en poder-la aconseguir i aquesta s’aconsegueix a través de la formació. Des de la perspectiva docent ens preguntàvem si és necessari formar als alumnes de ciències de la salut en temes documentals i quina repercussió està tenint en la seva labor quotidiana. L’ objectiu del present estudi és conèixer l’ importància que li donen els estudiants de tercer curs d’ infermeria a l’aprenentatge de temes documentals, principalment referents a localització i recuperació d’informació. Es vol valorar l’impacte de la formació en documentació durant el període d’ estudis, la perspectiva de l’ impacte sobre el seu futur professional i la importància sobre la vida quotidiana en general. Metodologia. S’ha realitzat una enquesta autocontestada als alumnes de tercer curs de l’ Escola Universitària de Ciències de la Salut de la Universitat de Vic. L’ anàlisi es basa en comparar un grup d’alumnes que ha rebut formació a través de un mòdul específic de documentació, respecte la resta d’alumnes que no l’ han rebut. Resultats. En general, l’ importància que els alumnes atribueixen a la formació en aspectes documentals durant el període de formació acadèmica és de 8,75 punts de mitjana ( escala de 0 a 10). Confirmen que el mòdul de documentació els ha aportat ajuda per realitzar altres assignatures, els seus companys els demanen ajudes relacionades, han millorat la qualitat dels treballs i se senten més capacitats per localitzar i recuperar informació. En un futur laboral immediat, li assignen una importància de 9 punts i creuen els servirà per desenvolupar de forma més eficient l’activitat laboral. L’ importància en la vida quotidiana és puntuada en 8,75 punts, destacant com raó principal el poder seguir el ritme de la societat actual. Discussió. Els alumnes consideren que és necessari i imprescindible disposar d’unes habilitats mínimes en documentació. Els que han seguit el mòdul de documentació valoren més els beneficis que aporten aquests coneixements, respecte els que no l’han seguit. La pràctica i l’ adquisició d’ habilitats documentals han d’integrar-se progressivament, essent el docent el primer en estimular i promoure aquesta dinàmica dins de cada assignatura.

Este trabajo tiene como propósito presentar y valorar, desde la perspectiva del alumnado participante, un proyecto de investigación-formación puesto en marcha durante el curso 2003-2004 en la elaboración del trabajo de tesina, fin de carrera, en la Escuela de Enfermería de Vitoria, dentro del programa de Licenciatura Europea de Enfermería. Constituye el punto de partida de un proyecto a largo plazo, iniciado con la intención de desarrollar principios teóricos y procedimientos prácticos que nos permitan sistematizar procesos formativos que, centrados en la investigación, articulen la teoría y la práctica e integren una perspectiva comunicativa y cooperativa.

El present treball analitza l'ètica de la cura i l'atenció d'infermeria. Es descriuen els seus antecedents i la influència del feminisme en les cures d'infermeria. Així mateix, s'analitza mitjançant unes entrevistes en profunditat, la dimensió ètica de les cures segons els models de Watson i Roach a un centre hospitalari del nostre pais.

Background: The lack of adequate instruments prevents the possibility of assessing the competence of health care staff in evidence-based decision making and further, the identification of areas for improvement with tailored strategies. The aim of this study is to report about the validation process in the Spanish context of the Evidence-Based Practice Questionnaire (EBPQ) from Upton y Upton. Methods: A multicentre, cross-sectional, descriptive psychometric validation study was carried out. For cultural adaptation, a bidirectional translation was developed, accordingly to usual standards. The measuring model from the questionnaire was undergone to contrast, reproducing the original structure by Exploratory Factorial Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factorial Analysis (CFA), including the reliability of factors. Results: Both EFA (57.545% of total variance explained) and CFA (chi2=2359,9555; gl=252; p<0.0001; RMSEA=0,1844; SRMR=0,1081), detected problems with items 7, 16, 22, 23 and 24, regarding to the original trifactorial version of EBPQ. After deleting some questions, a reduced version containing 19 items obtained an adequate factorial structure (62.29% of total variance explained), but the CFA did not fit well. Nevertheless, it was significantly better than the original version (chi2=673.1261; gl=149; p<0.0001; RMSEA=0.1196; SRMR=0.0648). Conclusions: The trifactorial model obtained good empiric evidence and could be used in our context, but the results invite to advance with further refinements into the factor “attitude”, testing it in more contexts and with more diverse professional profiles.

The area of the urgencies and emergencies, assisted from all levels and care settings raises, if possible, patterns of work and ways that collaboration between professionals and teamwork make nurse prescription, often pharmacological, a legislative needs in response to increased scientific evidence and through internationally accepted performance algorithms. Enabling the nurse to act according to these concepts and beyond any "doubt and suspicion" of illegality. Taking a consensus necessary training and development and according to professional specialization and differentiation in this area and as arguments to remove any doubt still remains the subject without enclosing any sense and in many sectors.

The Andalusian Public Health System (SSPA) is considering the last time an attempt urgent process management through triage consultation, both hospital and primary care environment and tables situations in which the nurse responsible for these consultations can carry out a final statement of which only she is directly responsible through their independent intervention and referral (Triage Advanced). Pose, at once and consistently to the idea of teamwork, where they can be the limits to that intervention finalist and the circuits to follow. This paper proposes a definition line of one of those situations through triage concepts universally tested, and takes full advantage of advanced practice profile offered by nurses Device Critical Care (DCCU) of the SSPA and any the emerging legal and regulatory framework in terms of standardized collaborative prescription, us know legitimate receivers. This work stems from the vision of professionals and our contribution to that line of institutional work that must be consensus.

Fear of achieving higher levels of nurse autonomy must be overcome for a new environment of relationships, change, communication and respect within the multidisciplinary team. The progressive achievement of new skills, the handling of evidence and the implementation of models and ways of working based on the nursing process, through encouraged training courses into the company and by the possibility of resource management in line and technology, foster as the ideal setting for Emergency Nursing, Emergency and Disaster acquires its own identity and development.

The creation and establishment within the healthcare team of the Primary Healthcare Centre of Baena of a Protocol and Procedures for healthcare that provides a communication tool for nurses enabled the healthcare team to develop a dynamic circuit and at the same time communication with nurses of the Critical Care and Emergency Team (DCCU) assigned to that centre. The created work environment for healthcare included Case Management Nurse, Primary Healthcare Nurse and Critical Care and Emergency Nurse. Thus, nursing assessment and actions for programmed and urgent healthcare, provided the first contact with DCCU nurses and reoriented them for the proposed healthcare plan for the patients, in addition to communicate with the rest of the healthcare team. This article presents the results of continuous nurse healthcare over nine months, applying this protocol.

The prescription, widely discussed and defined conceptually in recent years in an environment of widening the spectrum of responsibilities nurse, has capacity for integration and definition in the area of accident and emergency care and carried out over the patient urgently, about emergencies and life-long commitment. Be necessary to frame throughout the legal framework, following the amendment of the Twelfth Additional Provision of Law 29/2006 of guarantees and rational use of drugs and medical devices, can be waived and implementation required, provided under model and through the nursing process and method and as an exponent and endorsementn of science and advanced clinical practice, to join the idea of interdisciplinary professional consensus that the law posed by the preparation and implementation of standardized protocols, algorithms and / or clinical practice guidelines in the context of what has come to be called "collaborative standard prescription": Prescription to the nurse in certain clinical situations in terms of a performance protocol, agreed with multidisciplinary team care health of the population (Group Protocols), which can be considered an intermediate step in the evolution towards independent nurse prescribing, providing nurses experience of a prescription under these protocols and demonstrating their capabilities.

Asthma is a chronic disease and as such, is inexorably tied to periods of exacerbations in which quality of life is affected. This represent not only a threat to physical integrity of the sick person but also an increase in both workloads and expenses supported by health services. The key point of this case is that if we make our patients to get a major implication in their own disease control, we are going to reduce umber and severity of episodes, to optimize resources and the most important to improve the quality of life of our patients

The aim of this research is to know the barriers and opportunities that nursing professionals detect in their clinical practice in order to develop the culture of patient safety and to identify future research lines. This qualitative study is based on the DELPHI method, with a group of 19 nursing professionals from education and care practice, involving both primary and specialized care. Weaknesses and threats revolve around five categories: profession, organization and infrastructure; indicators; communication and safety culture; and safety training. Opportunities to improve safety cover six categories: organizational change; promotion of the safety culture, professional training and development; relationship with the patients; research; and strategic planning. Work is needed to improve safety and nursing should be ready to assume this leadership.

Bipolar disorder is a chronic disease that causes abnormal shifts in mood. Although it may be infra diagnosed, a prevalence of 1-2.5% is estimated. As treatment, there is a wide range of medicines but the bests goals are achieved with a mix of psicotherapy and medicines.The following is the case of AF, Who was diagnosed of bipolar disorder 20 years ago. Along this time, he has been amitted to hospital several times. This case runs the normal course of bipolar disorder and shows that treating severe mental illness may be really complex.
