Arte y psicosis desde el psicoanálisis: una revisión de la literatura

El propósito de este trabajo de grado fue realizar una revisión de la literatura que expusiera la relación entre el arte y la psicosis. Para esto se exploraron artículos de revistas indexadas de los últimos diez años. Se realizó un análisis en donde se evidenciaron los orígenes de la relación entre el arte y la psicosis, se hizo un recorrido por los usos del arte efectuados por personas diagnosticadas con psicosis, y se hizo una aproximación a las intervenciones artísticas de tipo terapéuticas efectuadas por profesionales desde un modelo de intervención psicoanalítico, a través de diferentes apartados. Se encontró que en Colombia la literatura sobre esta literatura es escasa, por lo que se sugiere trabajar en este campo para continuar abriendo las vías de investigación.

The Effectiveness of Art Therapy in Decreasing Depressive Symptomology: A Meta-Analysis

Art therapy is an increasingly popular treatment modality with various mental health professionals; however, despite its increasing popularity and utilization, the field suffers from a continued lack of empirically validated studies that demonstrate its effectiveness. Thus, this study performed a meta-analysis on studies that utilized therapeutic art interventions with depressive symptoms in order to produce an overall effect size (ES) regarding the effectiveness of art therapy on depression. Additionally, this study attempted to determine moderating factors that might influence the magnitude of the ES. The present meta-analysis included 18 published and unpublished studies that produced a significant (p=0.001) ES of -1.10 (95% Confidence Interval (CI) of -1.64 to -0.56), thus demonstrating that art therapy has a large effect on the reduction of depression-related symptoms in participants. The results of this analysis are comparable to other meta-analyses of psychotherapeutic treatments for depression (Mazzucchelli, Kane, & Rees, 2009; Gloaguen, Cottraux, Cucherat, & Blackburn, 1998; Cuijper, van Straten, Andersson, & van Oppen, 2008). This study also covers clinically relevant issues regarding treating depression with art therapy and makes recommendations for further research.

On gathering in Art therapy: a way to understand and build the discipline with the other

In the present article I try to share some reflections on a case study of an attachment disorder child I worked with for two years through art therapy in a day hospital. Those reflections let me go deeply in some specific elements concerning the discipline which let us delimit its theoretical and methodological possible scope. In this way, from the specific of the case study on propose to reflect on those elements that conform a methodology related to the art therapist way of doing, in order to concrete and evaluate other possible interventions to develop in similar cases and contexts.

The puppet as a tool for working in Art Therapy

This article aims to investigate the possibilities of building puppets in art therapy workshop, for this it realizes a tour of the primitive use of the puppet as a magical twin and potential towards the study of authors who have used the puppets as a therapeutic tool from the first half of the twentieth century. It’s raised an own theoretical organization, which includes the consideration of the significance of the body in the construction and management of the puppet and the puppet transitional perspective, halfway of external reality and psychic reality as an object that makes fantasy and reality arises built.

The trace in the skin in an Art Therapy Workshop

We present the experience of a brief Art Therapy Workshop conducted with a group of women with dermatological conditions, conducted at the Hospital General Universitario Reina Sofía of Murcia. We will focus on one of the patients, recognizing the importance of group relationships for therapy. The main objective was to establish a link between emotions and experiences of patients and their own body, specifically their skin condition. Thus, personal, family and social will constitute the basis on which these emotions and experiences are embedded. The relationships and their status as mothers are guides for the therapeutic work carried out.

La utilització de l'art teràpia com a instrument per al tractament dels TCA

En les últimes dècades, una gran varietat d'intervencions psicològiques basades en teràpies interpersonals, cognitiu-conductuals, sistèmiques i farmacològiques han anat guanyant terreny en el tractament dels trastorns de la conducta alimentària Junt amb aquest tipus de teràpies, han començat a emergir aproximacions multidisciplinàries com per exemple la incorporació de teràpies experimentals combinades amb una o dues formes de teràpia més tradicionals en el tractament dels TCA. Alguns programes fins i tot han incorporat teràpies alternatives i holístiques, com l'art teràpia, que funcionen com a nucli de la seva filosofia. Tanmateix, actualment no existeixen estudis publicats que corroborin l'eficàcia d'aquest tipus de teràpies en els tractaments dels TCA. Així doncs, el propòsit d'aquest treball és el de destacar, explorar i aprofundir en els diferents tipus d'art teràpia utilitzats en el tractament dels TCA, així com estimular la discussió pel que fa a les investigacions futures sobre art teràpia i el tractament dels trastorns alimentaris.

L'aplicació de l'art teràpia amb nens hospitalitzats amb càncer, per tal de millorar el seu estat d'ànim, disminuir l'ansietat i l'estrès

Amb aquest projecte d'intervenció ens agradaria poder posar sobre la taula que l'art teràpia és una disciplina, una tècnica dins de la psicologia, que aporta beneficis psico-emocionals als usuaris que la reben; en el cas d'aquest projecte amb nens i adolescents amb càncer a l'Hospital Sant Joan de Déu.

Aportes a la revisión de literatura sobre la relación entre el arte y la psicosis desde una perspectiva psicoanalítica.

El presente trabajo tiene como propósito hacer una revisión crítica de dos de los trabajos más relevantes que abordan la relación entre salud mental y arte, a saber: Artistry of the Mentally Ill, de Hans Prinzhorn (1922/1972) y Madness and Art, de Walter Morgenthaler (1921/1992). Para ello, se presenta primero un recuento de estos textos, y en un segundo momento, su respectivo análisis. De esta manera, llevo a cabo una revisión crítica de los ya mencionados libros a la luz de diferentes teorías psicoanalíticas que abordan algunos temas cruciales dentro de esta relación, como lo son la psicosis, y desde otras perspectivas, el arte marginal y la creatividad, aportando así a la investigación teórica de este tema particular.

El concepto de sublimación en psicoanálisis, una revisión de literatura

Este trabajo es una revisión de literatura que abarca una serie de artículos disponibles en la base de datos de la Universidad del Rosario, publicados entre los años 2006- 2016. En total se revisaron 52 artículos. Se presenta el concepto de sublimación según el psicoanálisis, el cual ha sido investigado en áreas como la religión, la filosofía, el arte, la cultura y en algunos casos en donde este se evidencia; finalmente se presentan conclusiones sobre dicho concepto durante últimos 10 años.

Processus et fonctions psychiques de l'écriture : de la création littéraire au groupe à médiation

Ce travail porte sur l'étude des processus et fonctions psychiques de la création littéraire et de l'écriture dans une perspective psychanalytique, à partir d'une méthodologie de recherche qualitative exploratoire. Un premier volet de la recherche s'attache à étudier les processus et fonctions psychiques dans la création littéraire à partir de six entretiens semi-structurés avec des écrivains romands publiés. Les entretiens sont analysés en profondeur à partir de la méthodologie qualitative Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (Smith, Flowers & Larkin, 2009). Un second volet de la recherche étudie les processus et fonctions psychiques de l'écriture dans un atelier de groupe à médiation écriture prenant place dans un Centre de Jour pour adultes, à partir de l'élaboration de deux cas. L'articulation des analyses de ces expériences d'écriture dans les deux contextes étudiés permet de mettre en évidence des enjeux de continuité/discontinuité dans le passage du premier mouvement créateur de l'écriture - le « miroir-papier » - vers le mouvement de la publication/lecture - le « miroir-lecteur ». Ces enjeux de partage invitent à penser le travail créateur de l'écriture à partir de la notion de « Moi- peau » (Anzieu, 1995) et à préciser cinq fonctions psychiques de l'écriture : transformation ; protection ; échange ; réassurance narcissique ; partage. Un accent particulier est porté sur la fonction de protection, dans la tension qu'elle entretient avec celle de transformation, au travers de la mise en évidence de six formes d'enveloppes d'écriture protectrice. Finalement, les analyses mettent en évidence la manière dont cette tension entre un investissement défensif de l'écriture et un investissement de transformation se déploie par des voies singulières en vue d'une tentative de résolution du conflit subjectif interne entre les exigences du « public intérieur » (De M'Uzan, 1964) et la rencontre avec l'objet réel. Ces pistes d'analyses permettent de préciser les modalités de contribution de l'écriture aux processus de symbolisation et d'enrichir la pratique du champ des médiations thérapeutiques de repères d'appréciation clinique. - Based on an exploratory qualitative research methodology, this work focuses on the psychical processes and functions of literary creation and writing from a psychoanalytic perspective. The first part of the research investigates psychical processes and functions in creative writing through the analysis of six semi-structured interviews with published Swiss writers. The interviews are analyzed according to the exploratory qualitative methodology Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (Smith, Flowers & Larkin, 2009). The second area of research examines the processes of writing in the context of an art-therapy writing group that took place in an adult day center. The observations lead to the elaboration of two case studies. The joint analysis of these writing experiences highlights issues of continuity/discontinuity in passing from the first creative writing movement - the « mirror-paper » - to the final publication/reading of the work - the «mirror-reader». These issues enable us to understand the creative writing processes from the concept of the « skin-ego » (Anzieu, 1995). Five functions of writing are proposed: transformation, protection, exchange, narcissistic reassurance, and sharing. An emphasis on the tension between the protection and the transformation functions is highlighted through the identification of six forms of protective writing psychical envelopes. Finally, the analysis shows how this tension between a defensive and a transformative investment in writing takes place in an attempt to resolve the internal conflict between the « inner audience » (De M'Uzan, 1964) and the encounter with the real object. This study clarifies the way creative writing can contribute to symbolization and can enrich clinical assessment in the field of art-therapy.
