Capacitación para personas con discapacidad

Chile ha logrado indicadores de crecimiento superiores a los de la región, sin embargo, sus beneficios no se han distribuido de manera equitativa en toda su población y las personas en situación de discapacidad forman parte del grupo menos favorecido. El Programa de Gobierno 2014-2018 de Michel Bachelet, consciente de esta situación, propuso dentro de sus objetivos avanzar hacia la inclusión laboral de personas en situación de discapacidad y, para lograrlo, ofreció como estrategia la implementación de un programa de capacitación en oficios para 20.000 personas en situación de discapacidad. La responsabilidad del diseño y ejecución del programa recayó en el Servicio Nacional de Empleo (SENCE), y el presente informe corresponde una propuesta de largo plazo para su diseño. La propuesta incluye los bienes y servicios que deberían ser parte de la oferta del programa, así como los procesos que deberían ser ejecutados por SENCE para ejecutarlo.

Evaluation report of the training course on disaster assessment methodology

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has been a pioneer in the field of disaster assessment and in the development and dissemination of the Disaster Assessment Methodology. The organization’s history in assessing disasters started in 1972 with the earthquake that struck Managua, Nicaragua. Since then, ECLAC has led more than 90 assessments of the social, environmental and economic effects and impacts of disasters in 28 countries in the region. The Sustainable Development and Disaster Unit provides expert assistance in disaster assessment and disaster risk reduction to Caribbean states and to all countries across Latin America. Considering that assessing the effects and impacts of disasters is critical to the Latin American and Caribbean countries, the Unit has started a new cycle of training courses. The training is designed for policymakers and professionals involved directly with disaster risk management and risk reduction. Additionally, and since the methodology is comprehensive in approach, it is also designed for sector specialists, providing a multisectoral overview of the situation after a disaster, as well as an economic estimate of the damages, losses and additional costs. In an attempt to strengthen disaster risk reduction through its financial instruments, the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES for its acronym in Portuguese) of Brazil requested that ECLAC undertake a four-day training programme on the Disaster Assessment Methodology.

Informe del Taller Regional para la Capacitación en Proyectos y Programas para la Mujer

Su objetivo fue impartir una capacitacion especifica asi como el de discutir y analizar la efectividad de la ayuda en la integracion de la mujer, a partir del intercambio de informacion y experiencias entre los representantes de las instituciones de financiamiento y de las asociaciones y paises donantes. Incluye la evaluacion del Taller y una lista de proyectos ideales sugeridos por los participantes.

Programa de ensenanza, capacitacion e intercambio

Esquema de las actividades docentes del CELADE, para 1976. Su caracteristica basica es la diversificacion, la implantacion de cursos ad-hoc y los seminarios. Se distinguen 5 tipos de tareas: a).ensenanza de post grado y seminarios de especializacion; b).programa regular de ensenanza de metodos de analisis demografico y cursos intensivos nacionales; c).ensenanza de metodos y tecnicas aplicadas a campos relacionados; d).ensenanza de pregrado; e).apoyo docente a programas de ensenanza en instituciones nacionales e internacionales. Se senalan los objetivos del programa en cuanto a ensenanza y capacitacion y a intercambio con paises, instituciones o centros de ensenanza patrocinados por las Naciones Unidas.

TEORIA SINTÁTICA: DE UMA PERSPECTIVA DE -ISMOS PARA UMAPERSPECTIVA DE PROGRAMAS

This paper tries to show that the developments in linguistic sciences are better viewed as stages in a single research program, rather than different ideological -isms. The first part contains an overview of the structuralistas' beliefs about the universality and equivalence of human languages, and their search for syntactic universals. In the second part, we will see that the generative program, in its turn, tries to answer why language is a universal faculty in the human species and addresses questions about its form, its development and its use. In the second part, we will see that the paper gives a brief glimpse of the tentative answers the program has been giving to each of these issues.

Programas de educação de jovens e adultos e pesquisa acadêmica: a contribuição dos estudos do letramento

The purpose of this article is to introduce elements that allow building an interface between the academic research and the programs of basic education for youngsters and adults. It discusses contributions to these programs that can be found in the results of qualitative research studies. To this end, results of a five-year long project on teacher education are used, which aim was that of analyzing the interaction between teacher and student in youngster and adult literacy classes. The research project was conducted in natural contexts with the purpose of understanding a given social reality, and not of establishing general laws. Therefore, the credibility of its results was built through the observation of multiple contexts, and the gathering of data was made through various methods, from the perspective of several participants observed during a prolonged period of time. This empirical basis was used to evaluate recommendations contained in the report commissioned by Unesco to the International Literacy Institute for presentation at the World Forum on Education held in 2000 in Dakar. This report proposed that the continuous attendance of students to basic education programs is one of the great challenges of the new millennium. With respect to the problem of adult evasion from courses and programs, the article discusses the motivation and accessibility factors, pointed out in official documents as relevant factors to the success or failure of the programs.
