合成了具有立方笼状结构的磺化八苯取代倍半硅氧烷(SOPS),经红外光谱(FTIR)及核磁共振波谱(NMR)分析,确认了产物的结构。用携带负电荷的SOPS与聚丙烯胺(PAH)进行层层组装,制备了纳米复合超薄膜。

Sous l'ère moderne, où le commerce n'a plus de frontières physiques, les catastrophes causant des dommages à grande échelle se sont multipliées. Lorsque de telles catastrophes surviennent, l'utilisation de procédures de recours collectif pour juger de l'ensemble des litiges semble être la solution indiquée. Pourtant, l'expérience nous démontre qu'il n'en est rien... Bien que le même événement cause des dommages à de multiples victimes, le recours judiciaire demeure l'exercice d'un droit personnel. Le tribunal devra alors rechercher l'application de règles matérielles spécifiques à ce recours. En l'absence de règles spécifiques, les règles de conflit de lois du tribunal saisi seront applicables. Or, ces règles ne sont pas uniformes et entraînent une multiplicité de lois applicables. Conséquemment, il est opportun de s'interroger sur la pertinence de réunir des recours individuels en un seul recours. L'expérience américaine nous démontre les difficultés engendrées par la multiplicité de lois applicables à un recours collectif, bien que des solutions législatives et jurisprudentielles aient été proposées. Ces solutions demeurent imparfaites, tant au niveau de leur constitutionalité que du respect des droits fondamentaux. Devant la complexité occasionnée par le regroupement de ces litiges, les tribunaux sont réfractaires à leur autorisation, dès lors qu'une multiplicité de lois applicables est démontrée. Ainsi, la solution juridique la mieux adaptée aux recours collectifs internationaux demeure celle de saisir les tribunaux, de plusieurs recours collectifs distincts; chacun regroupé en fonction de la loi applicable à chaque recours, déterminée, au préalable, par l'analyse des règles de conflit de lois du tribunal saisi.

A POSS-PMMA copolymer has been synthesised by conventional free-radical polymerisation reaction. Uniform electrospun fibres from this copolymer showed a water contact angle as high as 1651 with a sliding angle as low as 61. For the first time, we found that the electrospun fibres had a bundled nanofibril secondary structure with an ordered POSS morphology on the fibre surface.

Stable thermo-responsive hydrogel nanofibres have been prepared by electrospinning of commercial poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) in the presence of a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) possessing eight epoxide groups and of an organic-base catalyst, followed by a heat curing treatment. The nanofibres showed excellent hydrogel characteristics with fast swelling and de-swelling responses triggered by temperature changes. They were also morphologically robust as their physical integrity was preserved upon repeated hydration/dehydration cycles and exposure to solvents.

High-quality single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with narrow diameter distribution can be generated from well-defined Si8O12 nanoclusters structure which form from thermal decomposition of chemically modified polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS). The nanosized SixOy particles were proved to be responsible for the SWNT growth and believed to be the reason for the narrow diameter distribution of the as-grown SWNTs. This could be extended to other POSS. The SWNTs grown from the nanosized SixOy particles were found to be semiconducting enriched SWNTs (s-SWNTs). A facile patterning technology, direct photolithography, was developed for generating SWNT pattern, which is compatible to industrial-level fabrication of SWNTs pattern for device applications. The metal-free growth together with preferential growth of s-SWNTs and patterning in large scale from the structure-defined silicon oxide nanoclusters not only represent a big step toward the control growth of SWNTs and fabrication of devices for applications particularly in nanoelectronics and biomedicine but also provide a system for further studying and understanding the growth mechanism of SWNTs from nanosized materials and the relationship between the structure of SWNT and nonmetal catalysts.

Binary and ternary nanocomposites were produced by incorporating, via melt compounding, two types of octa-and dodecaphenyl substituted polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS), montmorillonite (MMT), and combinations of POSS with MMT into nylon 6. The tensile, flexural, and dynamic thermo-mechanical properties of these materials were characterized and their structure-property relationships discussed. The results show that the losses in ductility and toughness experienced after inclusion of MMT into nylon 6 can be balanced out by co-mixing MMT with the dodecaphenyl- POSS to produce a ternary nanocomposite. This trend however was less pronounced in the ternary MMT/octaphenyl-POSS system. Analysis of the microstructure organization in these materials using XRD and SEM sheds some light on understanding the differences in behavior. Both types of POSS particles mixed alone in nylon 6 were found to be polydisperse (500 nm to a few microns in size) and locally aggregated, yielding materials with similar mechanical performance. The co-mixing of MMT with the octaphenyl- POSS served to break down the POSS crystal aggregates, enhancing their micro-mechanical reinforcing action. On the other hand, the POSS crystals were not affected in the MMT/dodecaphenyl-POSS system, which led to improving their toughening ability.

This paper provides two vignettes that draw on data from projects that interrogate how a student can be positioned by practices within physical education (PE) and directed by the PE teacher in relation to their valued or legitimated ability. Through the use of Pierre Bourdieu's conceptual tools of field, habitus and capital we investigate the complex legitimation processes that shape student poss(abilities) and that are situated in the space of the PE class. The first vignette is from the perspective of a student and draws on data from interviews, a journal, questionnaires and photos of her PE experiences in upper primary and lower secondary school. The second vignette focuses on teacher practices and his constitution of the field of a PE class highlighting the significance of teacher perspectives of 'ability' in informing assessment in senior secondary PE. Using these examples we discuss the symbolic violence that works against each student by positioning them as 'less able' or 'unable' despite their participation in a learning context. We argue that by not attending to the possible abilities of students that could have been recognized, developed and legitimated, and through the misuse of capital assignment by teachers, PE may well be counterproductive to students' ongoing engagement with the subject area and the espoused potential upon which such a subject area justifies itself.

La supervision professionnelle des intervenants est une pratique dont on ne connaît pas vraiment l'ampleur, ni les effets. Cet essai présente une synthèse de la réflexion de l'auteur tirée des écrits recensés sur le sujet et de son expérience professionnelle. Les résultats d'une recherche sur la supervision professionnelle d'intervenants directs qui travaillent avec des personnes en difficulté viennent enrichir et compléter cette réflexion. La supervision professionnelle offerte aux intervenants afin de les aider à conjuguer efficacement avec les exigences de leur travail est une activité essentielle au sein d'un organisme. Trois fonctions lui sont habituellement rattachées: administrative, éducative et de soutien. L'interaction entre ces trois fonctions rend la tâche complexe au cadre intermédiaire qui assure habituellement cet encadrement. De plus, le niveau de formation des intervenants peut être un facteur important dans l'appréciation que se font les employés de la supervision qu'ils reçoivent. Les résultats de l'étude démontrent que, de façon générale, les supervisés sont peu satisfaits de leur supervision et semblent en retirer peu d'effets bénéfiques. De plus, le fait d'être supervisé par leur supérieur hiérarchique et le niveau de formation ont peu d'effets sur la perception de la supervision.

Com o passar do tempo, a demanda elétrica de diversas áreas varia tornando necessária a construção de novos geradores elétricos e a expansão da rede de transmissão de energia elétrica. Nesta dissertação, focamos no problema de expansão da rede de transmissão, assumindo que novos geradores estão construídos para suprir as novas demandas. Essa expansão exige altos investimentos que precisam ser cuidadosamente planejados. O problema pode ser modelado como um problema de otimização não linear inteira mista e pertence à classe dos problemas NP-difíceis. Desta forma, uma abordagem heurística pode ser adequada para a sua solução pois pode vir a fornecer boas soluções em tempo computacional aceitável. Esta dissertação se propõe a apresentar um estudo do problema de planejamento da expansão de redes de transmissão de energia elétrica estático e multiestágio. Mostramos o que já existe na literatura para o que é chamado de problema sem redimensionamento e as inovações feitas por nós para o problema com redimensionamento. Quanto aos métodos de solução, utilizamos a metaheurística GRASP para o problema estático e combinamos o GRASP com o procedimento Backward-Forward quando falamos em problema multiestágio. Nesta dissertação comparamos os resultados computacionais obtidos com resultados encontrados na literatura.
