Menke y Bürger ante Adorno

Este trabajo enfrenta críticamente dos importantes interpretaciones de la estética de Th. Adorno: Bürger ha destacado la autonomía y la institución arte; Menke ha subrayado la oposición entre autonomía y soberanía artísticas. Al oponer Bürger y Menke se trata de ofrecer una interpretación alternativa que articula esas tres dimensiones del arte: autonomía, institucióny soberanía. Es clave para ello una teoría de la modernidad cuyo núcleo está en Adorno y que no olvida la evolución del arte moderno.

Species of Trifoliovarium Yamaguti, 1940 (Digenea : Lecithasteridae) from Australian waters, with a description of T-draconis n. sp and a cladistic study of the subfamily Trifoliovariinae Yamaguti, 1958

Three species of Trifoliovarium are described from marine fishes from Moreton Bay, Queensland: T. triacanthi (Parukhin, 1964) n. comb. (syns Hysterolecitha triacanthi Parukhin, 1964; T. triacanthi Bilqees, 1973; T. triacanthusi Gupta & Ahmad, 1976) from Tripodichthys angustifrons; T. ovarilobulus (Wang, 1989) n. comb. (syn. Hysterolecithia[sic]ovarilobulus) from Paramonacanthus japonicus and Pelates quadrilineatus; and T. draconis n. sp. from Callionymus sublaevis and C. belcheri. A list of the species of the subfamily Trifoliovariinae is given along with a key. A cladistic study of the subfamily based on 23 characters is presented, the results of which indicate the monophyly of the genus Assitrema and the paraphyly of Trifoliovarium.

The subfamily Aephnidiogeninae Yamaguti, 1934 (Digenea: Lepocreadiidae), its status and that of the genera Aephnidiogenes Nicoll, 1915, Holorchis Stossich, 1901, Austroholorchis n g, Pseudaephnidiogenes Yamaguti, 1971, Pseudoholorchis Yamaguti, 1958 and N

The status of all of the putative member genera of the subfamily Aephnidiogeninae is reconsidered, based mainly on the morphology of the terminal genitalia, Aephnidiogenes Nicoll, 1915 is the only genus retained in the Aaephnidiogeninae. Aephnidiogenes major Yamaguti, 1934 from Diagramma labiosum from the southern Great Barrier Reef is redescribed with particular reference to the terminal genitalia, and is shown to lack a true cirrussac, a condition considered to be diagnostic of the Aephnidiogeninae. Holorchis Stossich, 1901 is placed in the subfamily Lepidapedinae. Holorchis pycnoporus Stossich, 1901 from Pagellus acarne from off Spanish Sahara and from Diplodus vulgaris from off Italy and H. legendrei Dollfus, 1946 from Sparodon durbanensis and D. sargus from off eastern Cape Province, South Africa and from Pagellus erythrinus from the Adriatic Sea and Italy are studied and illustrated. The terminal genitalia of H. pycnoporus are found to be enigmatic, but those of H. legendrei are found to fit clearly into the 'Lepidapedon-like' pattern. A new genus Austroholorchis is erected in the Lepidapedinae, with A. sprenti (Gibson, 1987) n. comb. as the type-species. Its diagnostic features are its ani, infundibuliform oral sucker and the position of the ovary at about mid-level of the uterus. A. sprenti is illustrated, its hosts in Queensland waters being Sillago maculata, S, analis and S. ciliata. A, levis n. sp. is described from Sillago bassensis from south-western Western Australia. The genus Pseudaephnidiogenes Yamaguti, 1971 is placed in the Lepidapedinae. P. rhabdosargi (Prudhoe, 1956) from Rhabdosargus sarba from off Natal, South Africa is illustrated and the terminal genitalia of P. rhabdosargi from R. sarba and from R. holubi from off eastern Cape Province and Pseudaephnidiogenes vossi Bray, 1985 from Caffrogobius nudiceps from off eastern Cape Province, South Africa are illustrated. The genus Pseudoholorchis Yamaguti, 1958 is placed in the subfamily Lepocreadiinae. The terminal genitalia of P. pulcher (Manter, 1954) from Latridopsis ciliaris from New Zealand are illustrated, The genus Neolepocreadium Thomas, 1960 is placed in the Lepocreadiidae.

A review of the family Enenteridae Yamaguti, 1958 (Digenea), with descriptions of species from Australian waters, including Koseiria huxleyi n. sp.

The family Enenteridae is reviewed, with keys to the genera and species and diagnoses of the family and genera, based on a cladistic analysis utilising 44 characters. Subfamilies are not recognised. Descriptions of the following taxa from Australian marine teleosts are given: Enenterum mannarense from Kyphosus sydneyanus, SW Australia, E. elongatum from Kyphosus sydneyanus, SW Australia (these two species are distinguished by the number of oral lobes and the ovary to anterior testis distance), Koseiria huxleyi n. sp. from Chaetodontoplus meredithi, Great Barrier Reef (this new species is distinguished by the vitellarium reaching into the forebody, the infundibuliform terminal oral sucker, the unlobed ovary and the distinct post-oral ring), Koseiria xishaense from Kyphosus cinerascens and K. vaigiensis, Great Barrier Reef, Cadenatella isuzumi from Kyphosus cinerascens and K. vaigiensis, Great Barrier Reef, and C. pacifica (Yamaguti, 1970) n. comb. [was Jeancadenatia] from Kyphosus cinerascens and K. vaigiensis, Great Barrier Reef. The genus Jeancadenatia is considered a synonym of Cadenatella, and the new combination C. dollfusi (Hafeezullah, 1980) is formed. Members of the family are parasitic mainly in herbivorous fishes with a few genera and species from non-herbivorous fishes.

Measurements are given for all and full descriptions and illustrations for some of the following enenterid species: Enenterum aureum Linton, 1910 in Kyphosus bigibbus and K. sydneyanus? from Ningaloo Coral Reef, Western Australia, K. vaigiensis from off Heron Island, Queensland and K. vaigiensis from off Moorea, French Polynesia; E. mannarense Hafeezullah, 1980 in K. bigibbus and K. sydneyanus? from Ningaloo Coral Reef; E. elongatum Yamaguti, 1970 in K. vaigiensis from Heron Island, Queensland and K. bigibbus and K. sydneyanus? from Ningaloo Coral Reef; Koseiria alanwilliamsi sp. nov. in Kyphosus cornelii from off Kalbarri, Western Australia; Koseiria xishaense Gu et Shen, 1983 in K. vaigiensis from off Heron Island and K. bigibbus from off Palau, Micronesia; Proenenterum isocotylum Manter, 1954 in Aplodactylus arctidens from off Stanley, Tasmania; R ericotylum Manter, 1954 in A. arctidens from off Stanley; Cadenatella isuzumi Machida, 1993 from Kyphosus bigibbus and K. sydneyanus? from Ningaloo Coral Reef; Cadenatella pacifica (Yamaguti, 1970) from Kyphosus bigibbus from Ningaloo Coral Reef. Two recent cladistic studies of the Enenteridae are discussed and a further analysis has shown that Enenterum and Cadenatella are monophyletic, whilst Koseiria appears polyphyletic. The zoogeography and host-specificity of Kyphosus-inhabiting enenterids is discussed.

40 anos de política externa brasileira, 1958-1998: três inflexões

A política externa brasileira, de 1958 a 1998, atravessa três grandes períodos ou mudanças em suas orientações e formas de atuação. Numa primeira fase, herdada ainda do período anterior do imediato pós-guerra e mesmo anterior a ela, ela vive ainda o "paradigma Rio Branco", isto é, orienta-se basicamente e busca manter relações especiais com a principal potência hemisférica. No período do regime militar, assiste-se a uma ampliação do quadro de relacionamento externo, contemporaneamente a grandes mudanças na estrutura econômica do País. Na fase recente, finalmente, emerge a importância do multilateralismo econômico, no contexto da globalização. Essas inflexões são analisadas colocando-se lado a lado mudanças na conjuntura internacional e nas condições políticas e econômicas do País.

Liberdade de ensino versus totalitarismo: a semântica política dos substitutivos de Carlos Lacerda durante a tramitação da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases (1958-1959)

Sem perder de vista os vínculos do deputado Carlos Lacerda com os interesses pecuniários das instituições particulares de ensino durante a tramitação da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases (LDB) na Câmara dos Deputados (1958-1959), o artigo destaca as relações entre a semântica dos substitutivos apresentados pelo político udenista com a cultura política católica do período, mostrando que a tese do interesse encobre uma dinâmica a ser observada nos estudos sobre a história política da educação.

O aparecimento da vanguarda em Portugal – para um estudo da música portuguesa entre 1958 e 1965

Este trabalho, realizado no âmbito de uma tese de Doutoramento sobre música Portuguesa contemporânea, pretende dar a conhecer a forma como a vanguarda foi recebida e compreendida em Portugal. Baseando-se essencialmente no estudo de programas de concertos, recensões e críticas de periódicos, estudos socio- culturais posteriores e entrevistas com participantes, pretende ser um contributo para o estudo da maneira como um determinado movimento musical de cariz peculiar influenciou ou mesmo transformou a vida cultural Portuguesa. A data início deste trabalho – 1958 - reflecte: (a)o início de um movimento para o estrangeiro de uma geração de compositores Portugueses; (b) o início das actividades musicais da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian; (c) as transformações políticas e económicas que colocariam Portugal perante a Democracia e o desenvolvimento Europeu. O ano de 1965 veio a revelar-se uma data importante pelo número e pela qualidade de apresentações de música contemporânea, a meu ver comparável ao que actualmente se faz.

Memórias da resistência rural no sul - Couço (1958-1962)

Numa aldeia do sul de Portugal, inscrita numa História que lhe granjeou uma reputação nas lutas contra o Estado Novo, utiliza-se a Antropologia para interrogar os mecanismos de transmissão da memória e a sua capacidade estruturante, com o pano de fundo das classes e da luta de classes. Entre uma memória colectiva que se universaliza em momentos de crise social e a emergência de conjunturas translocais, favoráveis a formas de luta locais, hibridizam-se métodos entre a antropologia e a história para acompanhar os quotidianos e os momentos de luta acesa no Couço, entre as eleições presidenciais de 1958 e as greves pelas 8 horas de trabalho em 1962.
