Unitats litològiques d'interès per a la producció d'àrids a l'àrea del curs mitjà del riu Fluvià (la Garrotxa)

Pleistocene and Quaternary sediments adjacent to the medium course of the Fluvià river are a source of aggregate in the Garrotxa. Four lithological units can be used directly, or with a minimal processing as coarse aggregate. They have been mapped in detail at the 1:5.000 escale. The stratigraphic analysis have made possible the four units to be ordered in relation to their suitibility for usage as aggregate. From high to low relative quality they are: the basaltic flow, fluviatile deposits, plio-quaternary conglomerates, and glacis deposits

Presencia de Caliche Fósil en el Buntsandstein del valle del Congost (Provincia de Barcelona)

Se señala la presencia de caliche fósil en el Triásico inferior y el cual es interpretado como caliche inicialmente maduro producido en cortas exposiciones subáreas en condiciones semiáridas. Se deducen das tipos de ambientes de acuerdo con los dos modelos $e secuencias litolgicas en las que se encuentra el caliche: partes distale de glacis de acumulación y 'playas', y diques y charcas en una llanura aluvial meandriforme.

Micromorfología y Mineralogía de un paleosuelo pleistoceno del Pla de Barcelona

La alterancia de niveles arcillosos rojizos y limos amarillentos mas o menos encostrados por CaC03, constituyen uno de 10s elementos más tipicos del glacis del Pla de Barcelona. Esta secuencia ha recibido hasta la fecha distintas interpretaciones sobre su origen basadas en criterios de campo y/o diferencias en sus minerales pesados: los niveles rojos y limos amarillos subyacentes son considerados verdaderos suelos diferenciados in situ por unos autores, mientras que son considerados como depósitos de diferente origen por otros autores

Notas geomorfológicas sobre un sector del contacto Depresión Central Catalana-Cordillera Prelitoral (alrededores de l'Espluga de Francolí)

En el presente trabajo se exponen los principales resultados obtenidos de una cartografa geommfolgica a escala 1: 50.W, adjuntndose un esquema geolgico y un esquema geomorfdlgito. Se pone de manifiesto las diferencias de modelado entre los Munitany~es de Prades y la Conca de Barkri debido a la teatnica y da ~litologa, la existencia de materiales crioclsticos a I..W m de altitud y su ausencia (no se han encontrado trazas de ellos) ten las zonas bajas, iste describen varios, tipos de evolucin de las cornilsas calcreas, toda una serie de depsitos fluviales y torrenciales escallonados, as como algunos pequeos glacis poco desarrollddos debido a la litologa diel substrato. Por iiiltimo hay un pequeo apartado en que se trata la dinmica aotual teniendo en cuenta las modificaciones introducidas por dl hombre.

Einfügen im großen Maßstab

Die Wiener Ringstraße stellt eine der großen Stadtumbauarbeiten im Euro­pa des 19. Jahrhunderts dar, die von vielen Städten zum Vorbild für eigene städtebauliche Planungen genommen werden sollte. Die Pracht­straße zeichnet sich nicht nur durch ihre städtebauliche Form, ihre großzügigen Freiräume und ihre monumentale Bebauung aus, sondern ebenso durch ihr einheitliches Erscheinungsbild, das sie vom übrigen Stadtgefüge abhebt. Vor diesem Hintergrund scheint die Frage nach der Einfügung dieses städte­baugeschichtlich bedeutenden Großprojekts von besonderem Interesse. Im Folgenden soll daher über die Planung und Realisierung der Ringstraßen­zone als „Einfügen“ ebenso nachgedacht werden wie über das Verhältnis dieses Implantats zu seiner nächsten Umgebung.
