Estudo sobre o Plenarinho, portal infanto-juvenil da Câmara dos Deputados. O Plenarinho desenvolve ações educomunicativas voltadas à educação política de crianças de sete a 14 anos por meio de estratégias de comunicação dirigida e aproximativa. Uma dessas ações é o Eleitor Mirim - edição 2010 aqui enfocado, projeto implementado nos anos eleitorais por meio do incentivo e orientação para práticas pedagógicas por professores do ensino fundamental. As temáticas abordadas são política, democracia, cidadania e legislativo. Os dados são aqui analisados por meio de abordagens e técnicas metodológicas da análise de conteúdo e da teoria fundamentada nos dados. Busca-se em conhecimentos teóricos de diferentes áreas, referências para a compreensão do problema estudado. Nesse sentido, a mídia-educação e a educomunicação são analisadas devido ao perfil do projeto e dada a centralidade da mídia na formação cultural brasileira. Estas áreas de estudo também contribuem para a percepção da inter-relação entre educação e da comunicação, e do potencial formativo e esclarecedor da leitura crítica dos meios e da apropriação destes no meio escolar. Outro campo teórico utilizado é a cultura política, com ênfase à vertente culturalista. Esta área contribui para o entendimento dos processos relacionados à formação dos conhecimentos, crenças e sentimentos que conformam os valores políticos. A função principal dessa vertente está na identificação de quais valores são mais relevantes para a manutenção e fortalecimento da democracia. Essa mesma intenção está presente no terceiro campo teórico presente neste estudo - educação política. Esta linha de estudo justifica os esforços realizados pela Câmara dos Deputados por meio do projeto Plenarinho, pois apresentam a educação política como uma regra da coletividade perante cada indivíduo. Essa prática é apontada como imprescindível para a formação do cidadão ativo e para o aprimoramento da democracia.

This study aimed to evaluate the potential of two public schools in Educommunication related to Environmental Protection Area Jenipabu (APAJ) located in Rio Grande do Norte / Brazil, based on perceptions of educommunicatives practices on the environment as well as perform an action included in the school APAJ. In the first phase of the research were three separate questionnaires designed to identify the actions, practices and experiences of three sets of audiences: teachers, students and parents from both schools. In the second phase, activities were carried out as educomunicatives class actions involving ride, maps of environmental design and construction of a mural on the school newspaper APAJ. We opted for the participant, making the observation in a previous visit to knowledge of the schools, where they made the first contacts with the administrative team, teachers and students, and then the application of semi-structured questionnaire to teachers, students and parents of the 4th and 5 years of elementary school the morning hours. The results showed the detachment of these actors in the knowledge, participation and involvement with APAJ, caused by the absence of actions and actions involving teaching practices educomunicatives students to interact with the environment, taking as its starting point the living space.

This research analyzes the discursive construction of Educommunication, from a training course of educommunicators, with teachers and students of school Profº Francisco Ivo Cavalcanti, state public school, geographically located in the city of Natal / RN, studying the constitution of the meanings that educommunication practice in School Radio acquires for trainers and course participants (teachers and students). The socio-historical context in which this research is based corresponds to the new social reality, mediated by information and communication Technologies. These technologies drive the educational institution to train students in the use of different languages that permeate society. But to do so, you must have also enabled teachers to work Communication technology to meet the aspirations of young people and adults who are part of the educational community. The objectives are to identify the conditions of discursive production around the educommunication practice in Radio School, examine the discursive construction of instructors and course participants in Educommunication and its dialogical brands, and see how the course participants relate to their educommunicative practice in the educational contexts, attributing meaning to the place of teachers and students. Therefore, this research uses ethnography applied to the school context as a methodological option, Pecheuxtian Discourse Analysis, the principles of Educommunication, the reflections of Paulo Freire and the concepts of Dialogism in Bakhtin as theoretical contributions. We adopted three areas of knowledge: Language, Communication and Education, in order to produce an analysis committed to the aspects that involve the use of radio in the school environment to promote an educommunicative practice. With this research we have built a web of meanings about the school that we are forming or we want to form in the XXI century, because we used the discourses of teachers and students immersed in new knowledge and practices in order to propel them to be subjects of communication in educational environment for a qualitative transformation of being and doing in school.

Analisa o letramento político infantojuvenil com base em sondagem de opinião. Utiliza-se como método a análise de conteúdo e a teoria fundamentada nos dados. Conceitos da educomunicação e da cultura política, no contexto brasileiro, são abordados como perspectiva teórica. Verifica-se um baixo nível de letramento político e uma desconfiança quanto à política, como já estudado entre adultos.

Youngsters and teenagers are still a very vulnerable group of DST/AIDS. In order to combat this vulnerability the community intervention project being developed in Mãe Luiza neighborhood in the city of Natal-RN, entitled Strengthening Community Action Network for Prevention in HIV/AIDS: knowledge and Intervene emerged, popularly known as Project Viva Mãe Luiza. The project develops workshops of educomunication whose approach involves the DST/AIDS subject with the following media: video, photography, and theater playbook. This research integrates the activities of the project and has as main objective to investigate how strategies and practices of media communication developed in Project Viva Mãe Luiza through workshops of educomunication, assisted learning for the prevention of DST/AIDS and contributed to the reduction of vulnerability to DST/AIDS among adolescents and young participants of the project residents of Mãe Luiza community. The methodological basis was based on intervention research, with the technique of gathering daily field data, literature and documentary, in-depth interviews and ethnographic observation. The qualitative analysis was based on the monitoring of video workshops, photography, theater and primer, respectively, crossed by transverse to the prevention of DST/AIDS, conducted between June 2012 and December 2013 issues. Interviews with eight multipliers, aiming to understand their perceptions of vulnerability, prevention, multiplication and use of media that were part of the project were conducted. The analyzes show that learning workshops educomunication community health repercussions both in the development of individual skills in communication as changing perceptions about the vulnerabilities to which they are exposed, the awareness about prevention at the individual and differentiated actions multiplication in the community

Corporative media, represented by TV, radio, press and internet conglomerates, is responsible for the biggest portion of audience and public all over the world. The commercial media was built upon media concentration and monopoly strategies and this business aims society’s economic and political control. Unfortunately, they don’t represent the biggest portion of population’s interests and, because of that, corporative media faces a crisis moment while alternative means of communication rise from the initiative of professionals who are committed to society’s marginalized sectors. Radical media intends to express a variant vision about hegemonic policies, priorities and perspectives. Citizen journalism is one of radical media arms and this research proposition is to analyze the business model of commercial media in Brazil and in the world, its means of production, and compare them with citizen journalism methods. This work also intends to analyze radical media and how it is opposite to corporative media by studying Escola de Notícias, an educommunication project from São Paulo
