Avaliação de ensino em tecnologias da saúde: sugestões para a construção e implementação de um plano sustentado

A avaliação do ensino é a construção de um juízo, tão amplo quanto possível, acerca da qualidade do ensino e da aprendizagem e de como adequar edicientemente todos os aspectos que influenciam esta qualidade. Qualquer docente do ensino superior com vontade de evoluir e de se adaptar às condicionantes do processo ensino/aprendizagem deverá estar particularmente atento a estas premissas, sob pena de não atingir o objectivo maior da sua profissão: facultar ou facilitar a aprendizagem de forma duradoura de novos conhecimentos, actos ou comportamentos - "professionals should be rigorous in maintaining and developing their standards of practice" (Reece & Walker, 1994).

Análise estrutural e aspectos do mosaico sucessional de uma floresta semidecídua em Botucatu, SP

The objective of the present paper was to study the structure of a semi-deciduous forest. The main purpose was to verify if the floristic composition and/or structure is influenced by the mosaic developmental phase. The study has been done in 200 plots, each one measuring 10 × 10 m, forming a grid of 200m × 100 m in the center of the forest fragment. In to separate the study area in units representing different phases of forest mosaic (gap, construction and mature), the plots were classified by cluster analysis based on structural traits. The species with the highest influence the community structure were Aspidosperma polyneuron, Trichilia claussenii and Trichilia catigua.Gap, construction and mature phases presented different patterns in spite of the three species influence.

Desempenho de tractores florestais processadores

A time-and-motion study in wood processing of the Eucalyptus harvester's operational cycle was developed. The objective was to evaluate wood harvesters working under several site conditions. The research includes two kinds of harvesters while processing wood to supply paper and cellulose factories, as follows: a machine with twin tires and other one with large tracks, both connected to a different head harvester models. The forestry species were Eucalyptus saligna Smith and Eucalyptus grandis Hill ex Maiden, seven and eight years old, in slope terrains ranging from 0% to 10% degrees, under harvesting systems used by Votorantim and Suzano forestry companies, in São Paulo State, Brazi. Considering all field research, results disclosed that, for some conditions, both machines have shown mathematical correlation between some mechanical wood operation within the processing operational cycle and the saw logs production. All the mathematical correlations were found to express logarithmical models.
