The distribution of petroleum products through pipeline networks is an important problem that arises in production planning of refineries. It consists in determining what will be done in each production stage given a time horizon, concerning the distribution of products from source nodes to demand nodes, passing through intermediate nodes. Constraints concerning storage limits, delivering time, sources availability, limits on sending or receiving, among others, have to be satisfied. This problem can be viewed as a biobjective problem that aims at minimizing the time needed to for transporting the set of packages through the network and the successive transmission of different products in the same pipe is called fragmentation. This work are developed three algorithms that are applied to this problem: the first algorithm is discrete and is based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), with local search procedures and path-relinking proposed as velocity operators, the second and the third algorithms deal of two versions based on the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II). The proposed algorithms are compared to other approaches for the same problem, in terms of the solution quality and computational time spent, so that the efficiency of the developed methods can be evaluated

An important problem faced by the oil industry is to distribute multiple oil products through pipelines. Distribution is done in a network composed of refineries (source nodes), storage parks (intermediate nodes), and terminals (demand nodes) interconnected by a set of pipelines transporting oil and derivatives between adjacent areas. Constraints related to storage limits, delivery time, sources availability, sending and receiving limits, among others, must be satisfied. Some researchers deal with this problem under a discrete viewpoint in which the flow in the network is seen as batches sending. Usually, there is no separation device between batches of different products and the losses due to interfaces may be significant. Minimizing delivery time is a typical objective adopted by engineers when scheduling products sending in pipeline networks. However, costs incurred due to losses in interfaces cannot be disregarded. The cost also depends on pumping expenses, which are mostly due to the electricity cost. Since industrial electricity tariff varies over the day, pumping at different time periods have different cost. This work presents an experimental investigation of computational methods designed to deal with the problem of distributing oil derivatives in networks considering three minimization objectives simultaneously: delivery time, losses due to interfaces and electricity cost. The problem is NP-hard and is addressed with hybrid evolutionary algorithms. Hybridizations are mainly focused on Transgenetic Algorithms and classical multi-objective evolutionary algorithm architectures such as MOEA/D, NSGA2 and SPEA2. Three architectures named MOTA/D, NSTA and SPETA are applied to the problem. An experimental study compares the algorithms on thirty test cases. To analyse the results obtained with the algorithms Pareto-compliant quality indicators are used and the significance of the results evaluated with non-parametric statistical tests.

O efeito conjugado das imposições da grande distribuição e dos consumidores cada vez mais exigentes levou aos intervenientes do sector alimentar considerarem a certificação dos seus produtos e/ou sistemas de produção e distribuição por referenciais específicos. Todas as organizações que intervêm na cadeia alimentar têm a responsabilidade de colocar no mercado produtos alimentares, cujas condições de higiene e segurança estejam devidamente garantidas. Este trabalho tem por base o levantamento dos perigos considerando todos os potenciais elos da cadeia até ao consumidor final e que podem introduzir perigos para a segurança alimentar, de forma a definir medidas para controlar esses mesmos perigos ou simplesmente comunica-los com vista ao seu controlo. Tem, ainda, como objetivo melhorar a definição da utilização prevista dos produtos ao nível da utilização imprópria, não prevista mas razoavelmente expectável a par com a identificação dos perigos que não são esperados mas que podem ocorrer e ser introduzidos no produto desde a sua origem até ao consumidor final. O trabalho desenvolvido teve por base um período de estágio curricular numa Empresa do ramo Alimentar (Empresa X), onde se realizou um levantamento e posterior revisão de todos os rótulos de caixas e embalagens, fichas técnicas e planos HACCP dos produtos comercializados. Foi possível identificar de uma forma geral os perigos associados às matérias-primas, etapas de processamento e ao produto final, demostrando assim que todos os intervenientes na cadeia alimentar têm de assegurar a segurança no produto na etapa onde intervêm. Foram ainda feitas sugestões de medidas a implementar pela Empresa e ou Fornecedor, sendo que algumas delas já foram implementadas pelos fornecedores da empresa X no seguimento da sugestão apresentada. Concluiu-se que é possível à obtenção de um produto seguro caso exista a colaboração de todos os intervenientes da cadeia alimentar e o cumprimento das boas práticas de fabrico por parte dos mesmos. No entanto constatou-se que ainda é necessário melhorar a rotulagem de alguns produtos no sentido de evitar a sua utilização impropria por parte dos consumidores ou elo seguinte da cadeia até chegar ao consumidor final.

As empresas estão participando de um mercado cada vez mais competitivo. Esta disputa acirrada das empresas pelos clientes tem propiciado canais alternativos de distribuição dos produtos aos diferentes segmentos de mercado. Os canais de distribuição estão adquirindo uma importância cada vez maior aos olhos dos fabricantes e dos clientes, principalmente na questão de serviços. De acordo com Ballou (2001, p.44), “o serviço ao cliente, inclui disponibilidade de estoques, rapidez na entrega, rapidez e acuracidade no preenchimento de pedidos”. A esses serviços pode ser somada uma gama variada de outros serviços a serem prestados pelos participantes do canal de distribuição ou pelos fabricantes. A empresa Ravel Produtos Cosméticos e Dermatológicos será a principal usuária dos resultados obtidos com este estudo, pois é fabricante de produtos cosméticos e tem seu foco de atuação principal na cidade de Porto Alegre. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar o canal de distribuição para produtos cosméticos destinados a consumidores de alta renda no mercado de Porto Alegre, procurando identificar os aspectos de serviços demandados, produtos utilizados e mix de produtos comercializados pelo canal de distribuição: salões de beleza. O estudo foi realizado através de pesquisa qualitativa, com entrevistas individuais junto aos proprietários dos salões, ou junto às pessoas que decidem o mix de produtos a ser utilizado ou comercializado pelos salões. O mix de produtos comercializados pelos salões de beleza em Porto Alegre conforme a pesquisa realizada, é o seguinte: xampus, cremes, máscaras, hidratantes, fluidos e géis. Entre as respostas das entrevistas, foram encontrados os seguintes serviços demandados pelos salões de beleza: amostras de produtos, entregas rápidas, frete cif, suporte técnico do fabricante, prazos elásticos de pagamento e exclusividade como canal de distribuição para as linhas que comercializa.

Ainda que aprovada em 2012, a Lei dos Royalties do Petróleo (Lei 12.374 de 2012) ainda não entrou em vigor por conta de uma decisão do Supremo Tribunal Federal de suspender os dispositivos que estabelecem uma nova distribuição das receitas do petróleo entre os Estados brasileiros. A análise da discussão apresentada no Senado do Projeto de Lei que precedeu à Lei 12.374 revelou que não apenas a normativa aprovada não gerou ganhadores nem perdedores absolutos, uma vez que há questões do pacto federativo que são ambíguas e, em consequência, suscetíveis de conflitos, como também que a distribuição das rendas provenientes do petróleo entre todas as Unidades da Federação não foi uma disputa interna e isolada no Senado brasileiro entre argumentos sobre concentrar ou universalizar os recursos do petróleo, pelo contrário, foi demostrado que existe na região latino-americana uma tendência de aumentar os royalties e os impostos para serem destinados a políticas sociais que beneficiem a todo o país, e não apenas os Estados produtores de petróleo.

This study examines the complex hotel buyer decision process in front of the tourism distribution channels. Its objective is to describe the influence level of the tourism marketing intermediaries, mainly the travel agents and tour operators, over the hotel decision process by the buyer-tourist. The data collection process was done trough a survey with three hundred brazilian tourists hosted in nineteen hotels of Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The data analysis was done using some multivariate statistic techniques as correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, factor analysis and multiple discriminant analysis. The research characterizes the hotel services consumers profile and his trip, and identifying the distribution channels used by them. Furthermore, the research verifies the intermediaries influence exercised over hotel buyer decision process, looking for identify causality relations between the influence level and the buyer profile. Verifies that information about hotels available on internet reduces the probability that this influence can be practiced; however it was possible identifying those consumers considers this information complementary and non-substitutes than the information from intermediaries. The characteristics of the data do not allow indentifying the factors that constraint the intermediaries influence neither identifying discriminant functions of the specific distribution channel choice by consumers. The study concludes that consumers don t agree in have been influenced by intermediaries or don t know if they have, still considering important to consult them and internet doesn t substitute their function as information source

The administrative model of the Brazilian State, based on regulation, strives, with the application of the efficiency principle and assessment of economical costs, to give a greater effectiveness to fundamental rights by implementing public policies.The objective of this work is to analyze the role of Oil royalties in the context of the Brazilian State, considering that, being an income gap, they might work as a device that promotes intra/intergenerational justice. By means of a correct and efficient distribution and application in the national region, the royalties constitute financial resources available for implementing public policies that intend to guarantee the fundamental rights; above all, with the discovery of the Pre-salt basin and the indisputable rise in the tax revenues arising from Oil exploration. In the making of this work, the theoretical-descriptive methodology is observed, grounded in a critical-reflexive analysis about Constitutional Law and Oil Law. This work analyzes the administrative model of the Brazilian State, the theory of costs of fundamental rights and the theoretical aspects about royalties, such as: the ethical and economical fundamentals, the distribution and destination of revenues, considering the oil exploration scenario before and after the discovery of the pre-salt basin. it is verified, with the present work, the importance of the creation of a new regulatory framework, and consequently the creation of a sovereign wealth fund, which arises to re-evaluate the application of the current norms of Oil revenue distribution. Still, it is imperative that the mechanisms for controlling the application of royalties are defined in detail, so that those can fully admit the objectives of intra/intergenerational justice. Furthermore, it is emphasized that this process should develop from the efficiency principle viewpoint, as well as the principle of reducing social and regional differences, given that the Oil revenues might be used to ensure fundamental social rights, by implementing public policies that are aligned with the development recommended by the Federal Constitution
