Panorama da produção intelectual sobre a medição de desempenho na gestão pública

No contexto das mudanças na administração pública que visam promover a melhoria do desempenho governamental, este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um panorama da produção intelectual no campo da medição de desempenho na gestão pública entre 1980 e fevereiro de 2013. Para tanto, foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica de citação e cocitação com apoio dos softwares Sitkis, Netdraw e CiteSpace II. As bases de dados utilizadas foram a ISI Web of Science (WoS) - que reflete a pesquisa internacional - e a SciELO - que reflete a pesquisa brasileira. O estudo na WoS identificou os autores, periódicos, pares de documentos e instituições de pesquisas mais importantes. Além disso, o estudo na base da SciELO apontou que a literatura sobre o campo estudado é dispersa. De forma geral, os resultados obtidos revelam que a medição de desempenho na gestão pública é um campo emergente.

Knowledge Map of Research on Biofuels

This work highlights and analyzes the citations and co-citations by different authors, countries and institutions in series of researches on biofuel. These relations represent a knowledge map which shows the areas of research by different countries and authors. The contributions of different institutions were also shown. With this knowledge map developed, areas of research that still need more attention as well as the most important studies were highlighted. The software used for this analysis is Citespace which is developed by Chaomei Chen. Sources of information are articles retrieved from ISI Web of Science. Biofuel as a renewable form of energy is discussed. Its sources, types, methods of production, effects, market, and producers were discussed. Also plans and strategies that aim at boosting world biofuel market were listed as well as recent researches on it. Knowledge mapping, its types and methods as well as the method and software used for the analysis were also discussed.

Identification of Turning Points in the Research on Titanium Dioxide Production and Application

This dissertation "Identification of turning points in the research on titanium dioxide production and application" aims at detecting in scientific literatures emerging trends and sudden changes in titanium dioxide production and application. These key changes are then studied to determine its transient patterns and its effect on the research on titanium dioxide production and application The source of information is from bibliographic data which discussed titanium dioxide production and application. These bibliographic data where obtained from ISI Web of Knowledge and then formed into a network of clusters by applying software called Citespace.

Identification of the Emerging Issues in Recycled Fiber Processing

The objectives of this research work “Identification of the Emerging Issues in Recycled Fiber processing” are discovering of emerging research issues and presenting of new approaches to identify promising research themes in recovered paper application and production. The projected approach consists of identifying technological problems often encountered in wastepaper preparation processes and also improving the quality of recovered paper and increasing its proportion in the composition of paper and board. The source of information for the problem retrieval is scientific publications in which waste paper application and production were discussed. The study has exploited several research methods to understand the changes related to utilization of recovered paper. The all assembled data was carefully studied and categorized by applying software called RefViz and CiteSpace. Suggestions were made on the various classes of these problems that need further investigation in order to propose an emerging research trends in recovered paper.
