The Attic Youth Cafe

The Attic Youth Cafe was established as a social inclusion initiative and response to the issues of early school leaving, lack of informal educational opportunities, early sexual activity, early use of alcohol and the lack of a recreational space for young people to access information and socialise in. The service operates on a `drop-in` basis and is open to all young people aged between 14-18 years old. The Attic Youth Cafe offers services to the broad youth population and to marginalised and vulnerable young people. The Reco Youth Cafe

We provide and sell freshly prepared main meals with high quality nutritional value to young people in the area. Adults can also avail of the cafe and their purchases effectively subsidise the project. The Cup and Spoon Cafe at Ballyfermot Family Resource Centre offers all aspects of outside catering including; If you have a special occasion coming up and would like to have it catered for in your locality, then the Cup and Spoon is the perfect choice for home cooked, freshly prepared food. Projecte MQD per al disseny dels mòduls de Fonaments dels esports en el grau de CAFE (FPCEE-URL)

Les exigències estructurals i metodològiques nascudes de la implementació de l’Espai Europeu d’Educació Superior arran de la Declaració de Bolonya han comportat replantejaments profunds dels plans d’estudi universitaris i, sobretot, de la comprensió dels processos d’aprenentatge i avaluació dels alumnes basats en les competències. La necessitat del professorat de replantejar el seu compromís pedagògic d’acord a les noves directrius i la oportunitat de reflexionar de manera creativa i original en base a un programa de millora de la qualitat universitària han confluït en el present Projecte de Mòdul de Fonaments dels Esports. Aquesta proposta modular ajunta el rigor per potenciar les noves directrius pedagògiques universitàries i la satisfacció d’haver dedicat un temps a la reflexió col·lectiva que pugui servir de guia o exemple als diferents mòduls d’esports que el Grau en Ciències de l’Activitat Física i l’Esport proposa. Així, en base als eixos de lògica epistemològica, disseny i temporalització curricular i, finalment l’avaluació competencial, es desenvoluparan les principals aportacions metodològiques del projecte sense que al final, amb la perspectiva dels cursos ja passats, es puguin discutir els seus encerts i les seves possibilitats de millora. La qualitat en l’ensenyament dels esports n’ha estat el referent.
