Inspiration to propose ideas to offer to the community library paths to adapt to global culture and technology which revolves around the progress of information and communication systems. Ideas that move us to innovate, to make mistakes and correct them.Because the information age it is also of creativity. Creativity is the competitive advantage of professional and modern organizations. Ideas to change attitudes toward open to new projects that facilitate the transformation and to the challenge of "going global". Inspiration to measure and produce constructive thinking to help us define new goals by the desire to create and share knowledge.

Inspiración para proponer ideas que ofrezcan a la colectividad bibliotecaria rutas hacia la adaptación a una cultura global y tecnológica que gira alrededor de los avances de los sistemas de información y comunicación. Inspiración que nos mueva a innovar, a cometer errores y a corregirlos.Porque la era de la información lo es también de la creatividad.Creatividad que es la ventaja competitiva del profesional y de las organizaciones modernas. Inspiración para cambiar hacia actitudes abiertas, hacia nuevos proyectos que faciliten la transformación y hacia el reto que significa “ser global”. Hacemos llegar a ustedes una vez más del Boletín Bibliotecas. La labor desarrollada ha sido ardua, pero del apoyo recibido por las personas e instituciones, con las que hemos colaborado, nos demuestran que fue fructífera. Es oportuno, transcribir a continuación las palabras del Padre Higinio Alas Gómez, Director de la Biblioteca “Fernando Royo Linares”, de Fátima de Heredia.

Web Presence Of The Engineering College Libraries In Kerala: An Analysis Of Content

Websites of academic institutions are the prime source of information about the institution. Libraries, being the main provider of information for the academics, need to be represented in the respective homepages with due importance. Keeping this in mind, this study is an attempt to understand and analyze the presence and presentation of libraries of Engineering Colleges (EC) in Kerala in their respective websites. On the basis of the reviewed literature and an observation of libraries of nationally important institutions imparting technical education in India, a set of criteria were developed for analyzing the websites/web pages. Based on this an extensive survcy of the websites of ECs were done. The collected data was then analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The library websites were then ranked on the basis of this analysis. It was observed that majority of the websites of ECs in Kerala have least representation of their respective libraries. Another important observation is that even the highest scoring libraries satisfy only half of the criteria listed for analysis.
