A Constituinte anda rápido. Desde o início da semana da Assembleia teve uma média de 20 votações por dia, mesmo nos assuntos mais polêmicos. Um exemplo: a eleição para Governador, votada ontem. A definição se seria 1 ou 2 turnos nas eleições de prefeito e de governador, foi uma questão muito discutida, mas que foi definida e que ainda assim manteve a média de 20 votações. A Constituinte definiu esta semana a manutenção do monopólio estatal dos serviços de telecomunicações. Mas, o Estado pode conceder ao setor privado o direito de explorar este serviço. Ficou decidido ainda o pagamento de Royaltes aos estados onde é explorado o petróleo e produzido a energia hidrelétrica. Também ficou estabelecido na nova Carta a proteção das condições de trabalho nos garimpos. Com o ritmo rápido a Constituição deve ser promulgada logo. As cidades maiores terão mais vereadores. O número de vereadores será definido de acordo com a população do município. As grandes cidades terão no máximo 55 vereadores. A eleição para Governador e vice-governador será em dois turnos. A posse dos eleitos será no dia 1º de janeiro, 45 dias depois da eleição.

Influence of shot peening on the fatigue strength of Custom 465 stainless steel for aeronautic application

This project was originated from the national aircraft industry requirements to reduce the use of coated materials with electroplated chromium or cadmium that produce waste, which is harmful to health or the environment. The selected material is a Custom 465 stainless steel used in the aeronautical field due to its high mechanical strength. Considering the load sustained by the wheel axis of the landing gear, the Custom 465 is tested in axial fatigue. The objective is to compare the behavior of the Custom 465 with plated AISI 4340 steel coated with cadmium. X-ray diffraction method was used to determine the residual stress field induced by shot peening.

AgEdS/Hort 465 Class: Horticulture Enterprise Management

The production of local fruit and vegetables is a rapidly expanding segment of Iowa agriculture. The new ISU AgEdS/Hort 465 class trains future growers in the management and operation of diversified horticultural enterprises on an Iowa farm situation. Management of the finances, production, and marketing is performed by the students. The course is structured as a business and is guided through decisions made by student committees (finance, operations, production, and marketing committees). Each committee investigates the feasibility of a desired enterprise before coming together to make a final decision. The course was offered for the first time in 2011.

The complete Paleocene section begins with the basal Tertiary Globigerina eugubina Zone. This zone occurs at 465A-3-3, 4 cm to 465A-3-3, 144 cm and belongs to Lithologic Unit I (Site 465 report, this volume), a homogeneous, white, moderately to highly disturbed nannofossil ooze.
