A Comissão de Sistematização aprova o pagamento da hora extra em dobro. O Deputado Ademir Andrade (PMDB-PA) observa que o trabalhador poderá ser menos explorado. A Comissão de Sistematização tem até o dia 28 de outubro para votar todo o substitutivo do Relator Bernardo Cabral (PMDB-AM). Os Deputados Alexandre Puzyna (PMDB-SC) e Wagner Lago (PMDB-MA) acreditam que o prazo não será suficiente para a votação. O substitutivo de Bernardo Cabral (PMDB-AM) enfatiza que algumas atividades econômicas devam ser monopólio do Estado como, por exemplo, o petróleo nacional e minérios nucleares. Segundo o substitutivo é dever do Estado à prestação de serviços públicos gratuitos como por exemplo as escolas e os serviços de saúde. Segundo o Deputado Gil César (PMDB-MG) a criação ou extinção das empresas públicas devem ficar ao encargo do Congresso Nacional. O Deputado Afif Domingos (PL-SP) comenta sobre o controle dessas empresas. Dércio Munhoz, professor de economia da Universidade de Brasília (UnB), explica que o mais importante não é privatizar o Estado e sim fortalecer a democracia. O Deputado César Maia (PFL-RJ) afirma que o Estado deve se voltar para as atividades essenciais sem participação abusiva.

Application of algal bioassays in the determination of eutrophic power of waste water (”Conclusions” only) [Translation from: 1g.Sanita pubbl. 31 257-267, 1975]

The best evidence for establishing the level of eutrophy of a water-body is its algal production which makes it possible to identify the type and the intensity of the eutrophication according to the kind and number of algal species present: when the number of algae exceeds half a million per litre then one speaks o an ”algal bloom”. The scope of the present research aims to verify if the alga Selenastrum capricornutum can be used as a test alga under our culture conditions and to determine the eutrophic level of the secondary effluent of a modern plant for the treatment of domestic discharge and to investigate the eventual ”limiting factors”. Finally this paper aims to study the effect on the secondary effluent of tertiary treatment carried out artificially in the laboratory.

Aujstamento de redes GPS em conformidade com as exigências da Lei 10.267/2001

In Brazil, there have been several GPS applications and with the introduction of the Law 10.267/2001 that among other dispositions, deals with georeferencing of the rural parcels. However, most commercial softwares of processing and adjustment of GPS data don't let users to evaluate their results in a reliable way. For example, the constraints are normally used as absolute, which provides results with very optimists precisions. The adoption of additional analyses and the implementation of softwares can reduce these kinds of problems. Thus, a software for adjustment of GPS networks was developed, aiming at assisting the requirements of the Law 10.267/2001 in a reliable way. In this context, in this work it is analyzed the adjustments of GPS networks, by using absolute and relative constraints. In the latter, the adjustments were accomplished considering and not considering the correlations among the coordinate positions.

The impact of the law 10,267/2001 in the brazilian rural registration

The publication of the Law 10,267 of 08/28/2001 changed the paradigm of rural registration in Brazil, because this law known as the Law of Georeferencing has created the National Registration of Rural Property, that unifies in a common basis different registrations present in several government agencies, such as the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA), the Secretariat of Federal Revenue, the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Natural Resources, and the National Indian Foundation. Also, this new registration system has a graphical component which has not existed until such date, where the boundaries of rural property are georeferenced to the Brazilian Geodetic System. This new paradigm has resulted in a standardization of the survey and its representation of rural properties according to the Technical Standard for Georeferencing of Rural Properties, published by INCRA in compliance with the new legislation. Due to the georeferencing, the creation of a public GIS of free access on the Internet was possible. Among the difficulties found it may be observed the great Brazilian territory, the need for specialized professionals, and especially the certification process that INCRA has to perform for each georeferenced property. It is hoped that this last difficulty is solved with the implementation of the Land Management System that will allow automated and online certification, making the process more transparent, agile and fast.

Ombitasvir (ABT-267), a novel NS5A inhibitor for the treatment of hepatitis C

INTRODUCTION: Chronic hepatitis C infection is a global disease with 160 million people infected worldwide. Until recently, therapy was characterized by long duration, suboptimal success rates and significant adverse drug reactions. The development of direct-acting antivirals initiated a dramatic change in the treatment of hepatitis C. AREAS COVERED: This review covers the development of the novel NS5A inhibitor ombitasvir (ABT-267) and its clinical evaluation in Phase I to III trials as monotherapy and in combination with the NS3/4A inhibitor ABT-450/r and the non-nucleoside NS5B inhibitor dasabuvir (ABT-333) ± ribavirin. EXPERT OPINION: Ombitasvir (ABT-267) is a potent inhibitor of the hepatitis C virus protein NS5A, has favorable pharmacokinetic characteristics and is active in the picomolar range against genotype 1 - 6. In patients with genotype 1 and 4, 12-week combination treatment with ombitasvir, dasabuvir and ABT-450/r plus ribavirin was highly effective and resulted in 12-week sustained virological response rates higher than 95% in treatment-naöve and treatment-experienced patients. In liver transplant recipients with genotype 1 hepatitis C, success rates in the same range can be expected after 24 weeks of treatment according to preliminary trial results. Genotype 1a patients with compensated cirrhosis who were prior nonresponders benefit from a treatment duration of 24 weeks.
