El present Treball Final de carrera té com a finalitat, el realitzar una metodologia d'avaluació IHO per a Gestors de Continguts. La idea principal és que en aplicar les nostres proves a les pàgines obtingudes amb el Gestor, aquestes superin els protocols mínims que establirem en tot allò relacionat a web corporatives i de continguts.

Botiga on-line 2.0 : ad. web i comerç electrònic en entorns de programari lliure

El present projecte tracta de la realització d'una botiga on­line amb característiques Web 2.0 utilitzant en tot moment solucions de programari lliure. La solució triada per a la implementació del nostre projecte descarta el desenvolupament total i complet del projecte, és a dir la realització d'una web programada totalment a mida, i passa per l'adaptació d'un CMS (programa per a l'administració i gestió dels continguts d'una web) als requisits de la nostra botiga.

Aplicación de un estudio de usabilidad en bibliotecas digitales : la Biblioteca Virtual de la UOC

The Open University of Catalonia (UOC) has conducted a study of operability of its user interfaces, creating for this purpose different work groups that have analyzed different casuistries. One of these groups focused on the study and analysis of the usability of the Virtual Library's website, with the objective of obtaining benefits for our users. As a result of this analysis, an important qualitative jump is occurring in the new implementation of the website of the UOC's Virtual Library, prioritizing the role of users from different points of view: ease of navigation, management of profiles and the services associated to these and the restructuring of the information architecture, with the final aim of facilitating access to the resources and the services offered from the Library, advocating in this way for their quality and improvement.

What should a virtual University Library environment look like?

Over the past year, the Open University of Catalonia library has been designing its new website with this question in mind. Our main concern has been how to integrate the library in the student day to day study routine to not to be only a satellite tool. We present the design of the website that, in a virtual library like ours, it is not only a website but the whole library itself. The central point of the web is my library, a space that associates the library resources with the student's curriculum and their course subjects. There the students can save the resources as favourites, comment or share them. They have also access to all the services the library offers them. The resources are imported from multiple tools such as Millennium, SFX, Metalib and Dspace to the Drupal CMS. Then the resources' metadata can be enriched with other contextual information from other sources, for example the course subjects. And finally they can be exported in standard, open data formats making them available for linked data applications.

Estudio y construcción de herramientas de validación HTML

The Final Year Project consists of two essentially different parts, which share acommon theme: HTML code validation. The first of these two parts focuses on the study of the validation process. It supplies a brief introduction to the evolution of HTML and XHTML, the new tags introduced in HTML5 and the most common errors found in today's websites. Already developed HTML validation tools are analyzed and examined in detail in order to compare their features and evaluate their performances. Lastly, a comparison of the parsing process in the most common browsers found nowadays is provided. In the second part of the project the focus of the project is shifted towards the development of a XHTML5 validation tool. The input is a XHTML5 file whose content may or may not comply with the W3C specification, and therefore, may or may not be a valid XHTML5 document. The output provided by this tool will be a fixed XHTML5 document and an error log returned in the form of a XML file. Information as to the course of action pursued to fix the error and its location will also be included.

Projecte HIFA: xarxa dinamitzadora i fomentadora del tercer sector

El Projecte Hifa és una xarxa dinamitzadora del tercer sector (entitats, associacions,fundacions, etc.) i fomentadora de la participació ciutadana des d'aquest àmbit. Té una marcadatransversalitat d'àmbits d'actuació, ja que cada entitat treballa sobre el tema quel'incumbeix. Tot i això, el motor de la xarxa son les entitats naturalistes, conservacionistes itotes aquelles que directe o indirectament treballin en temes ambientals, per tal que, amesura que s'estableixin relacions amb entitats d'altres àmbits, les vagin influenciant iambientalitzant, enriquint-se al seu torn amb les experiències que els ofereixin aquestes.Per tal d'agilitzar la implementació de la xarxa, el mètode més eficaç és acotant l'àmbitgeogràfic a un nivell que generi quantitats d’informació fàcilment gestionable, i a partird'aquí, anar creixent de forma horitzontal, no jeràrquica, creant cèl•lules noves en altresparts del territori i connectant-les entre elles. El Projecte Hifa comença per establir-se a lacomarca del Gironès, ja que és una comarca on conviuen àmbits rurals amb urbans, peròamb un marcat desequilibri en favor de l'últim. Això permet englobar els dos àmbits dinsde la xarxa, amb l’al•licient que les dades són comparables i es poden generar estudis dediferenciació entre 3r sector rural i 3r sector urbà

Programari creador i consultor de genealogia familiar

Aquest projecte es centre en el disseny d’ un programari creador iconsultor de genealogia familiar. Es tracta d'un programari per a ús individual, no col.lectiu, i sense ànimde lucre, on les dades més importants són les dels familiars. Qualsevol usuari pot crear diversesfamílies (en un mateix sistema) i associar-hi familiars. Es poden introduir molts tipus de dadespersonals, a més de poder vincular-hi els arxius i events que es desitgin. Un event és unaconteixament en la vida d'una o diverses persones. D'aquesta manera l'usuari pot agregar moltstipus d'esdeveniments diferents als familiars i també hi ha la opció, que diferencia l'aplicació demoltes altres ja existents, d'agregar esdeveniments als events. També cal destacar que a cadafamiliar, arxiu i event pot associar-se un lloc (poblacio, regió i estat) i d'aquesta forma la informaciótotal que es pot generar, encara és encara més completa. La possibilitat de crear llocs nous és forçaàmplia. Finalment l'usuari podrà associar els diferents familiars segons parentesc i d'aquesta formaobtenir un arbre genealògic de tota la família. Un dels aspectes més treballats a l'aplicació, ha estat que totes les dades anteriorment esmentades, poguessin ser visualitzades fàcil i ràpidament per l'usuari final. La navegació entrepantalles i les diferents opcions, han estat pensades i dissenyades, perquè l'usuari final no tingui cap dificultat, sigui quin sigui el seu nivell. D'aquesta manera, a més de la gestió possible de dades de familiars, arxius, events i llocs; la utilització de le mateixes i la creació de multitud de vistes i cerques diferents, ajuden a que el programari sigui força complet

Importância da normalização contabilística na análise económica e financeira da empresa

O presente trabalho tem como objectivo demonstrar a importância da normalização contabilística para a análise da informação financeira, tendo em conta o meio envolvente em que, hoje, as empresas encontram-se inseridas. As mudanças que ocorreram na economia global levou a que as empresas passassem a adoptar novas formas de elaborar o reporte financeiro como forma de acompanhar essa evolução. A harmonização contabilística, surge neste contexto, como forma de reduzir as diferenças existentes no relato financeiro dos vários países. Nesse sentido o trabalho abordará as várias iniciativas que tem sido feitas em favor da harmonização/normalização contabilística e a sua relevância no contexto internacional e nacional bem como o caso de Cabo Verde, que recentemente aderiu ao processo da normalização. O caso prático baseia-se na transposição das demonstrações financeiras para o novo normativo em vigor e também na análise destas. A metodologia utilizada no trabalho baseia-se na revisão bibliográfica em livros, revistas, pela consulta de sites na Internet e legislação. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the importance of the accounting standard for the analysis of financial information, taking into account the environment in which, today, the companies are incorporated. The changes that occurred in the global economy have led companies to introduce new ways of preparing the financial reporting as a way to monitor these developments. The accounting harmonization, it is in this context as a way of reducing the differences existing in the financial reporting of the several countries. In this sense the work will address a variety of initiatives that have been made in favor of harmonization / normalization accounting and its relevance in the international and national context as well as the case of Cape Verde, who recently joined the process of standardization. The practical case is based in on the translation of financial statements for the new rules enforced and also in their analysis. The follows methodology used in the process is based on the literature review in books, magazines, by consulting Web sites and legislation

A IMPORTÃNCIA DA CONTABILIDADE AMBIENTAL NO CONTEXTO DAS EMPRESAS EM SÃO VICENTE

No mundo globalizado, com o desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias, novas formas de indústria e a escassez dos recursos, surge a necessidade de mudar o comportamento das entidades em relação à preservação do meio ambiente. É neste sentido que muitas entidades estão a adoptar a contabilidade ambiental nos seus relatórios, de forma a evidenciar os impactos que as suas acções provocam sobre o meio ambiente. O presente trabalho assenta-se principalmente na importância da contabilidade ambiental, na responsabilidade social e nos impactos que as actividades das empresas provocam ao meio ambiente. Neste sentido, apresentamos os conceitos de responsabilidade social e ambiental, e principalmente o conceito de contabilidade ambiental, onde fizemos a sua breve caracterização histórica, a sua importância, os seus objectivos e vantagens. Procuramos, de uma forma sintetizada, através dos relatórios de gestão disponibilizados nos Web sites de algumas empresas do País, saber qual o tratamento dado às questões de responsabilidade social e ambiental, e constatamos que muitas dessas empresas incluem nos seus relatórios acções relacionadas com a sociedade e o ambiente. Foi feito um estudo de caso na empresa de Produção, Transporte e Distribuição de Electricidade e Água, para ilustrar o tema de estudo. Fizemos uma análise nos documentos disponibilizados pela empresa de modo a saber qual a relevância dada às questões relacionadas com a contabilidade ambiental e qual o tratamento contabilístico dados as estas questões. Relativamente à metodologia utilizada durante a elaboração deste trabalho, baseámo-nos em revisões bibliográficas acerca do tema, em análises aos documentos da empresa e conversas tidas com alguns colaboradores da mesma. In this globalised world, with the development of new technologies, new types of industry and scarcity of resources, there is a need to change the behaviour of entities in what concerns protection of the environment. This is why many entities are including environmental accounting in their reports, in order to show the impact of their activity on the environment. This work is mainly focused on the importance of environmental accounting, the social responsibility and the impact on the environment caused by corporations’ activity. In this sense we begin with the introduction to the concept of social and environmental responsibility, with emphasis on environmental accounting, doing a brief historic characterization of it, its importance, objectives and advantages. In a synthetic way, going through the management reports shown on the websites of some enterprises in this country, we tried to learn how they deal with the matter of social and environmental responsibility, and we noticed that many of them include in their reports actions they take in the field of society and environment. To illustrate our theme, a case study was done in Electra, the electricity and water production and Distribution Company. We analysed documents made available by the company in order to know how they care about environmental accounting matters and how they treat them at the financial accounting level. Concerning the methodology used in performing this work, we based on reading bibliography about the theme, analyzing documents from that company and conversations with some of its workers.
