Nowadays a tool very used is the remote monitoring of assets which works collecting signals using sensors processing these signals and make them available to the system user. So the user can use informations that may assist him efficiently in making decisions when doing a maintenance. The system is technically efficient since it improves the measurement process and enables the asset management of a substation by using advanced technology for that and economically viable especially in cases where the user is subject to monetary loss due an interruption of power supply

The service area is in full development in the world, and it is proven the benefits of outsourcing services to large companies, which deliver services and manufacturing experts can focus only on production of their products. In this work, will be a handbook of technical procedures for preventive maintenance, as well as a catalog of parts required to perform the same for Toyota 8 Series forklifts. Will be developed also tools to control and carry out the preventive maintenance of these trucks, such as Check-list and a manual of tools needed for each procedure. The results show that service quality has improved considerably and the cost of wrong parts decreases more than 15%

Tendência de crescimento facial em ortodontia e ortopedia funcional dos maxilares

The knowledge of the facial growth trend is very important in orthodontic treatment. A lateral headfilm is recommended in all young patients undergoing a preorthodontic guidance program to anticipate the best time to begin any mechanical procedures and the possibilities to determine the type of facial growth trend. In type A it will be observed that the middle and lower face are growing forward and downward in unison, with no change in ANB angle. Type B growth trends reveals that growth is downward and forward, with the middle face growing forward more rapidly than the lower and in type C the lower face is growing downward and forward more rapidly than the middle face revealing a decrease in the size of the ANB angle.

Integração ortodontia e dermatologia na busca da excelência na estética bucal

In recent years the number of adult Patients who seek esthetic treatments has increased. Among the patients main concern, lip augmentation has increased, and this procedure has been very well performed and studied by dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Although Orthodontics can achieve good esthetic results through teeth and jaw proper positioning it is a time consuming approach and it discloses some anatomical and biological limitations. Dermatology may be an excellent alternative to enhance orthodontic results through lip augmentation. The aim of this paper is to discuss some dermatology techniques currently available to augment the lips as well as describe a case report highlighting the need for interdisciplinary approach to enhance facial esthetics goals.

Tomografia computadorizada Cone Beam em Ortodontia - evolução ou revolução? visão geral, aplicações, vantagens/desvantagens e dose de radiação

Introduction: The request of three-dimensional images (3D) of the dentomaxillofacial complex has increased. Hence, new possibilities for assessment, treatment as well as follow-up after treatment have increased their importance with the use of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). The images in two dimensions (2D) have inherent problems that can be solved with treedimensional images assessment. Objectives: To clarify the main doubts about the operational mechanism of complementary diagnostic method; to explain the advantages and disadvantages, to discuss the effective radiation dose and possible applications in orthodontia. Conclusion: The information generated by 2D images from the CBCT does not show differences that may endanger the orthodontic planning when compared with the images of 2D conventional radiographs. The effective radiation dose received by the patient should not be considered as a limiting factor of the tomography exam request.

Reflexões sobre a importância da assistência odontológica preventiva e do adequado treinamento dos Cirurgiões Dentistas para o atendimento de pessoas com deficiência

People with disabilities require special dental care according to the type of disability, degree of involvement of intellectual and motor complications, such individuals may have dental problems that require specific training of the dentist. The objective of this study was a literature review emphasizing the need for early and preventive dental treatment for people with disabilities and training and technical knowledge necessary for quality service performed by the dentist. The literature review was conducted primarily using articles published nationally, to establish the development of dentistry for special patients in Brazil, thus emphasizing some policies and measures adopted in certain areas of the country. It was concluded that preventive care is essential and that the projects of health promotion are important facilitators of social inclusion and provide increased success in dental care. Technical training of professionals is extremely important, therefore, be important to trace an appropriate treatment plan and establish communication with the multidisciplinary team involved in patient care.
