Ciutat i conflicte: explorant tendències de mediació comunitària a l'àrea metropolitana de Barcelona: estudi de casos: Barcelona, Sant Boi de Llobregat, L'Hospitalet

La present recerca té com a objectiu situar els diferents elements que resideixen en la interacció de la ciutat i el conflicte. Aquest plantejament vol conèixer el marc global on es situa la convivència, quines són les claus interpretatives. Així doncs l'escenari a investigar són els conflictes urbans. En aquest moment els programes de mediació comunitària poden ser plataformes de canvi per una nova forma de gestionar els conflictes urbans , així com de governar i viure la ciutat. Les conclusions de la present recerca poden ajudar a repensar accions, consolidar pràctiques i projectar nous imaginaris col·lectius

Ra isotopes and Rn as a tool for the water management resources: the Alberquillas aquifer (Málaga-Granada)

The aim of this project is to evaluate the importance of submarine groundwater discharge sector in order to improve the water balance in Málaga-Granada region. The approach of this study arose from the the geology and the aquifers that indicate that there could be some discharge to the sea between Maro (Málaga) and Almuñécar (Granada) and the Andalusian’s Government and its Water Agence were really interested in evaluating it because there is a lot of population and few water available and the magnitude of groundwater discharge has generated controversy. Is well known that water is a scarce resource in this area and it’s very important for the society and for the environment. The legislation, the water policies, the knowledge of the aquifer and the geology, the water dynamics, the land use and the water perception in the society might help the management of this resource not just in Andalusia but in all the Mediterranean basin. The main objective is to evaluate the submarine groundwater discharge from the Alberquillas Aqufier to the sea by measuring 222Rn and Ra isotopes. Specific objectives have been established to achieve the main objective: A) Reveal the importance of water resources in the Mediterranean basin; B) Learn radiometric techniques for the study of groundwater discharge to the sea; C) Learn of sampling techniques of water samples for the measurement of Ra and Rn; D) Learn the techniques for measuring Ra (RaDeCC) and Rn (RAD7); E) Interpretation and discussion of results. During this semester, and in addition of the present study in Málaga- Granada region, the author has participated in the initial phase (sampling, analysis and interpretation of preliminary results) of other research projects focused on the study of submarine groundwater discharges through the use of Ra isotopes and 222Rn. These studies have been developed in different areas, including Alt Empordà (Roses and Sant Pere Pescador), Maresme with CMIMA’s group (Mediterranean Center for Marine and Environmental Research), Delta de l’Ebre, Peñíscola and Mallorca with the IMEDEA’s group (Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies).

Facteurs et stratégies favorisant la préservation de la santé chez les ambulanciers

Cette étude s'est déroulée en Romandie en 2008-2009 et visait à connaître les stratégies de préservation de la santé chez les ambulanciers. Nous avons passé 416 heures à observer des ambulanciers travailler. Les stratégies observées touchent le travail d'équipe, l'organisation, la charge physique, etc. Un questionnaire a été envoyé à tous les ambulanciers en Romandie. Les ambulanciers sont nombreux à avoir des symptômes au dos et à avoir un score élevé pour le GHQ-12 (risque de trouble psychique). Des associations ont été observées entre certains symptômes et la fréquence et le type d'intervention, le ratio efforts-récompenses et certains aspects organisationnels.

Patacades, parenostres i sardanes : documentació i anàlisi de la festa de Sant Sebastià de Cadaquès

El tema en què se situa aquest projecte és el de “música i Festa”. El cas documentat i analitzat és el de la festa de Sant Sebastià de Cadaqués (Catalunya) que es celebra el 20 de gener, principalment a l’ermita situada a la muntanya del Pení. Se n’estudien els tres elements musicals principals relacionant-los amb el tot de la festa: la missa, les sardanes i les patacades, un ball en el qual es canten sàtires. L’objectiu principal del projecte és veure si, per com es realitzen i es conceben la música i el ball, l’esdeveniment té més característiques de la Festa, entenent aquesta com un camp d’estudi divers.

Genre, médecine et santé : quelques repères

Bien établie dans le monde anglo-saxon, l'approche "genre" en médecine semble encore peu connue des médecins suisses. Après avoir évoqué les principales initiatives ayant permis le développement de ce domaine en Suisse, cet article retrace de quelle manière, à partir des années 1970, les sciences sociales ont distingué ce qui relève du social (le genre) de ce qui relève du biologique (le sexe) dans l'analyse du statut réservé aux femmes et aux hommes; distinction officiellement reprise deux décennies plus tard en médecine. La présentation des principales étapes historiques ayant permis l'émergence du domaine "Gender Health-Gender Medicine" se clôt sur un portrait de cette approche dont la pertinence se voit soulignée en ce début de 21e siècle par l'OMS, comme par d'autres instances officielles.
