This paper discusses the expression of informality in contemporary capitalism. Thematic of relevance to the analysis of the reality of work today and the logic that moves the capital, its real presence in the lives of individuals. The street trading of Pau dos Ferros town, popularly known as "street market" was chosen as the search space. The main objective is to seize and examine the articulations and logic, present in the configuration of the street trading of this city, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, explaining the functionality of informality for capitalist accumulation, but also for the reproduction of segments of the working class. Our analysis is based in the perspective of totality, trying to grasp the historical determinations of the phenomenon in focus. It includes the analysis of the mechanisms used by the capital to reproduce itself in the current historical context, which has been implicated in the composition of the labor markets of different countries and in various forms of exploitation to which workers in general are subject. It also means discussing the development of capitalism in Brazil, the logic that permeates its dependence, and especially the use of over-exploitation of labor, as a lever for internal accumulation. The course of investigation consisted of theoretical research to form the basis of theoretical and methodological analysis and to outline the context in which our research object is inserted, and field research conducted in two phases: systematic observation, which allowed to map traders features and the infrastructure of commerce, and the conduction of interviews with key informants. The material collected was scrutinized according to analytical scheme inspired by the content analysis. Among the main considerations developed from the research process we include: the street trading of Pau dos Ferros remains shrouded in the majority sale of agricultural products, this demonstrates the structural characteristics of the region. However, the supply of this product is no longer restricted to the excess of small local producers. The presence of the dealer changed the distribution of the product, streamlining it. In parallel, business practices are developed, practices in which traded goods (industrial) reflect the moment of capitalist restoration, a larger business network. The reflections also made it possible to show that street trading follows developing on the basis of informal work, which gains functionality to the system, as it is configured as a space commonly used to drain part of the production, of industries (clothing/shoes), especially if the distribution is considered as an essential element of the complex process that aims at capital appreciation. This activity has been functioning as a place of employment and income generation for the subjects who are away from formal employment, masking, this way, unemployment, moreover, they allow them to continue as consumers. Such expressions reflect the ability and the logic of capital to expand and aggregate into so many realities. It is underway today, the logic that has led many workers to join the project of domination of capital, by the illusory chance to become capitalists. This paper discusses about the higher education in Brazilian society highlighting the struggle of the working class, as concerning the access to public universities, as well as highlights the contradictions implicit in social quotas adopted by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) . The aim of this paper is on presenting the analysis of student assistance of the state universities in the Northeast that adopt quotas as social criteria of access for its students , presenting investigative locus as the following universities : UERN , UEPB , UPE and UNEAL . The paper presents the results of a qualitative study , based on a documentary analysis , based on dialectical and historical materialism in which she performed the reading of data from the following analytical categories: Higher Education, Social Quotas and Student Assistance. As main results, it is emphasized that the implementation of quotas as a means of access to higher education was not decisive for the form of planning and implementation of student assistance the university investigated; latent heterogeneity is that universities deal with actions to support student residence. And it is this heterogeneity and the variation in the conduct and understanding of student assistance , reflecting the lack of prioritization with the actions of the context of HEIs ; support programs are to stay focused on central campuses which are located the administrative offices of the universities, penalizing students enrolled in advanced units; also highlight that there is no link between the programs and projects related to student assistance with actions related to teaching, research and extension in universities investigated , which ultimately characterize the student assistance as an isolated action and punctual

This research presents a reflection on the dropout rates in higher education courses available through distance education in a context marked by deep changes in various spheres of society and by the uncontrolled growth of this educational method. For this, the object of analysis is related to the reality of students of Technology in Environmental Management offered by the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia, Rio Grande do Norte (RN), Brazil, through the distance education in presence support poles located in Mossoró (RN) and Martins (RN). In this field research development several strategies of data collection are used, such as participant observation of reality; analysis of documents related to distance education and to the classes in Technology in Environmental Management; questionnaires answered by students who dropped the course. The results of such research enable us to say that the dropout rates in distance higher education is mainly referred to the consequences of a combination of aspects involved in the course development, personal difficulties faced by students during the period they attend the lessons and elements inherent in the context in which the course and students are inserted. Nevertheless there are specific situations in which the student may drop the program due to the influence of a single aspect, whether it is inherent in the development of the course, a personal situation, or even a factor determined by the context in which the course or the student belongs to

Ce travail de thèse ici proposé a comme but de recherche la production litéraire du poète brésilien Manoel Wenceslau Leite Barros, Manoel de Barros, (1916 Cuiabá-MT) en l articulant avec la reflexion sur le concept de politique de l écrite proposé par le philosophe algérien-français Jacques Rancière (1940 Algiers Algérie). L hypothèse qui se presente est celle sur l écrite poétique de Manoel de Barros dont les ―marques du sensible‖ dans les expériences démocratiques sont perceptibles. Sa production inclue ce que se peut denominer d une micrologie poétique, une reconfiguration du ―partager‖, dans le sense de l élaboration pratiques de l égalité, des pratiques de redistribution et de circulation des voix, instauratrices de la constitution esthétiques des communautés différenciées, considérées comme alternatives, face au modèle de système canonique de la litérature. Au moment que sa fonctionnent comme des formes de subvertions, elles produisent des espaces ou marge d émancipation de l être : lecteur et écrivain, en déclanchant des nouvelles perspectives éthiques et esthétiques. De cette manière, l objectif qui se dessine est ce qui comprend comment se configure la proposition d une politique de l écrite de Manoel de Barros et la façon qu elle se place par rapport à une politique des arts. Pour cela, nous utiliseront comme base la pensée de Jacques Rancière qui se fait remarquer, les dernières années, pour entreprendre une refléxion systématique et lucide par rapport aux relations éxistantes entre esthétique et politique dans la société présente, alié à ce que se défine comme des manières et des formes de penser élaborées par le texte poétique (lui même) de Manoel de Barros et de manière incontinué dans ses entretiens-critiques, plubliées dans des journaux et revues, présentées en vidéos, et nous n oublierons pas non plus des contributions théoriques et des refléxions parvenues de la pensée contemporaine

This dissertation deals with the study of the faces of social exclusion at present, through a spatial section constituted of a subnormal area (the Community Africa), which groups these aspects in a limited, but revealing, context regarding such problems. Through the following chapters, inequality, exclusion, segregation, the socioeconomics of the Community Africa, and the environmental impacts identified in this community are discussed. At the end of this piece of work, alternatives of possible solutions to the community area pointed, with also the discussion of propositions related to the questions concerning the mitigation of the most relevant problems

This work aims to understand the ways in which the social practices and the scenery within a public space located at the city centre of Mossoró - RN, named `The Cultural Corridor` , are constructed. The public space in question will be looked at and analyzed considering it`s components and specificities that, in relation to each other, work as a `public scenario`. The concept of `scenario` is the key for explaining the human actions in the physical space, that is, in the Cultural Corridor. This work also discusses about the action of the public in general and the political groups, and their relationship, within the context of the social practices related to the use of the Cultural Corridor`s space

Este trabalho pretende ser uma contribuição para a compreensão da história do livro didático no Brasil, mais especificamente no tocante ao estado de São Paulo. Trata-se da análise de alguns dos livros de leitura mais utilizados nas escolas primárias no final do século XIX e início do XX (1890-1920), compreendendo o livro como um objeto cultural. Delineamos as suas diferentes faces e o seu uso na escola, considerando o conteúdo, a finalidade, o formato, a produção editorial e a autoria, fazendo a interseção entre a história das disciplinas escolares e a história da leitura.
