Na "casa da mãe"/na "casa do pai": anotações (de uma antropóloga e avó) em torno da "circulação" de crianças

Ancorado numa fonte de inspiração pessoal, em reflexões sobre dados de campo e na observação de situações particulares, o trabalho discute a "circulação" de crianças. Considerando modalidades como a "tutela infantil", as "crias de casa de família", os "filhos de criação", as pessoas que "reparam" crianças (às vezes, outras crianças) e os circuitos em que se envolvem os filhos de camadas médias, divididos entre "suas" duas casas e outros espaços mais, a idéia é: (1) ver como o fenômeno tem sido interpretado em nossa área; (2) tomar a circulação de modo mais amplo e flexível para incluir nela fluxos mais curtos e dinâmicos, e outros grupos que permitam perceber, nesta "ciranda", por exemplo, uma antropóloga e seu neto.

A SUDAM e a crise da modernização forçada: reforma do estado e sustentabilidade na Amazônia

Este artigo apresenta um estudo da crise da política de desenvolvimento da Amazônia. Num primeiro plano focaliza a perspectiva da reforma do Estado nos anos 1990 e num segundo relaciona esta à necessidade da criação de uma estrutura que viabilize uma ação desenvolvimentista fundamentada nas propostas da sustentabilidade. A análise se conclui com uma apresentação das diversas propostas de reforma das instituições desenvolvimentistas (SUDAM/BASA) e, neste contexto, evidencia as dificuldades da transformação de um sistema que vem sendo pautado por critérios patrimonialistas nas suas ações políticas.

Influência da velocidade de circulação do leite na adesão de Pseudomonas aeruginosa sobre aço inoxidável

A influência da velocidade de circulação do leite na adesão bacteriana de Pseudomonas aeruginosa foi avaliada em teste de uso simulado por meio de um modelo de circuito de processamento de leite. O circuito é composto por uma tubulação de aço inoxidável AISI 304, com 1,9 cm de diâmetro e 5,8 m de comprimento, além de um tanque de 25 L, utilizado como reservatório do produto e das soluções sanitizantes. O reservatório foi acoplado a uma bomba centrífuga de ½ HP, para impulsionar o alimento ou soluções de higienização pelo sistema equipado com cupons de prova em aço inoxidável nas formas cilíndrica, cotovelo 90º e T. As velocidades de circulação foram de 0,5, 1,0 e 1,5 m.s^–1, correspondentes a fluxo turbulento com número de Reynolds de 14.000, 28.000 e 42.000, respectivamente. Quando se utilizou velocidade de 0,5 m.s^–1, permaneceram aderidas à superfície 10,7% das células. Já nas velocidades e 1,0 e 1,5 m.s^–1 as porcentagens de adesão foram de 5,36 e 4,9%, respectivamente, o que demonstra uma menor remoção de células aderidas à medida que o fluxo diminui, permitindo assim que mais células permaneçam aderidas na linha de produção, o que pode favorecer a formação de biofilmes.

Revolução Mexicana e imprensa operária brasileira: leitura libertária e circulação de idéias

Neste artigo, apresentaremos os principais pontos de minha dissertação de mestrado em andamento, intitulada “Operários e Camponeses. A repercussão da Revolução Mexicana na Imprensa Operária Brasileira (1910-1920)”. Por meio de uma leitura crítica das matérias jornalísticas sobre a Revolução do México que foram publicadas em periódicos da imprensa operária brasileira, no decênio de 1910 até 1920, pretendemos investigar e compreender o impacto desse acontecimento na embrionária classe operária brasileira no início do século XX.

A circulação do discurso da Amway: do controle à prática discursiva

In this paper, we intend to contribute to the debate about the circulation of the discourses. To do that, we analyze aspects regarding the circulation of Amway's discourse, a North-American network sales company that has been working in Brazil for a while. Precisely, we analyze the conditions of this circulation at the time it was more intensively, ie, in the 90s, when there were thousands of people in several parts of the country selling the company's products or consuming them. This study has been based on French Discourse Analysis with focus on both Michel Foucault's insights on the control mechanisms of discourse and Maingueneau's reformulated notion of discursive practice. The analysis reveals that Amway's discourse displays features of a doctrine, and, as a discursive practice, it cannot be conceived of as separated from the subjects who convey it, nor from its hierarchical organization, nor from the events that the company promotes and those which are promoted under its name. In these terms, the analysis shows how the discourse is not only a set of texts, but also concerns to the institutional network related to the social group that the enunciation of discourse presupposes and makes it possible.

Estudo sobre a circulação de sementes e propágulos no assentamento rural XII de outubro, Mogi Mirim, SP

Atualmente, a grande variedade de plantas domesticadas está diminuindo com a disseminação da moderna agricultura comercial, caracterizada pelos seus cultivos geneticamente homogêneos com emprego maciço de insumos. Em contraste, agricultores mais tradicionais procuram manter a heterogeneidade de seus campos cultivando muitas espécies e variedades, representando uma significativa importância para a conservação do patrimônio genético das espécies agrícolas. Entre estes agricultores é comum ocorrer a circulação das sementes e propágulos das variedades. Entretanto, muitos destes agricultores, mais tradicionais, migraram para assentamentos rurais, trazendo com eles uma grande diversidade de plantas. Desta forma, este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a dinâmica de circulação de sementes e propágulos de plantas alimentares que ocorre entre as famílias do Assentamento Rural XII de Outubro em Moji Mirim - SP, a partir de uma amostra de agricultores oriundos de áreas de agricultura de subsistência. Tais agricultores foram localizados com base no estudo “Semeando sementes, cultivando cultura: As plantas alimentares e a sua importância para a vida dos agricultores do Assentamento XII de Outubro, Moji Mirim, SP” realizado em 2005 pela mestranda Mirella Cultrera. No presente estudo foram realizadas visitas periódicas, nas quais entrevistas não estruturadas foram feitas para obter a história de vida, entrevista semi-estruturadas para obter as informações sobre a dinâmica de circulação das sementes e propágulos, e, por fim, entrevistas estruturadas para adquirir os dados socioeconômicos. Neste trabalho foram levantadas no total 139 variedades de cultivos alimentares (55 espécies pertencentes a 28 famílias botânicas), sendo 54% delas oriundas de Minas Gerais. Circulação atmosférica e precipitação pluviométrica na Bacia do Itajaí - SC: um estudo climatológico aplicado

The work is guided by the detailing of the Itajaí river basin, SC, rainfall dynamics at the annual, seasonal and monthly levels, allowing us to identify different responses that each location gives to the regional atmospheric circulation, particularly the rainfall. In this sense, we are aiming at approaching the concept of rhythm, which must be obtained at the daily level. The analysis at different climate scales was possible through isohyetal maps, trend lines, and Schroeder pluviographs. Moreover, we established the flow rate of the air masses by means of the Venn diagram. This data made it possible to assess the behavior of rains on that site and the reason why it is the stage of major flooding, as occurred in November 2008. The relatively mountainous topography combined with the frequent invasions of the Atlantic Polar Front, which often stop over the region, generate events of that magnitude, with high volumes accumulated in short periods of time. Such extreme events reinforce the idea of the search for the succession of types of weather to the detriment of averages that tend to abstract the reality

Pluviosidade, circulação atmosférica e vazão hídrica na bacia do rio Itajaí, Santa Catarina, Brasil

This research sought to understand the temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall and its effect on water dynamics on a regional basis, taking into account the pace of climate paradigm. The study area covers the entire river basin of the Itajai and its surroundings understood, roughly, between parallels 26° and 28° south latitude and 48° and 50° 30' west longitude, place of constant heavy rains and floods. In this region, pluviometric and fluviometric data were obtained, the variables of rainfall and water flow, which were compiled and analyzed using spreadsheets in order to get the series with more homogeneous data as possible for good analysis, the period between 1953 and 1982. This historical period has passed in principle by an analysis which sought to highlight the variability and distribution of rainfall and water flow in the basin-level annual, techniques which were used that allowed the choice of standard year representative (rainy, dry , usual) series. These obtained years (1957, 1968 and 1971, respectively) underwent a detailed analysis on the monthly level, providing good interpretation of the dynamic behavior of rain associated with dynamic water flow for these representative years

Estudo da secagem natural e forçada das folhas de Corymbia Citriodora a partir da extração de óleos essenciais

Essential oils are products from plants and can be located in parts or in its entirety. There are several methods for its extraction, where the most suitable depends on the plant or the use of the essence. The main species cultivated in Brazil are the Corymbia citriodora, Eucalyptus globulus and Eucalyptus staigeriana. The Corymbia citriodora is a species that was introduced in Brazil along with other species, with the initial objective of timber production. The yield of oil can range from 0.5 % to 3.0% according to the literature and this can be optimized by reducing the moisture content of the leaves. Studies show that the lower water content in the leaves allows the vapor stream generated in the extractor can drag, more efficiently, the volatiles stored in the cells as compared with the green material. The drying of the sheets is important for companies, so that there is transport of water, increasing the volume of the sheets to distillation and hence a greater volume of oil. The objective of this study was to compare the drying methods, analyzing the income of the essence and determine the best method to optimize the yield of essential oil. Experimental tests were performed natural drying 10, 15 and 20 days and fluidized with times of 60, 90 and 120 minutes and after drying were extractions of the oil. The results obtained for fresh leave yield was 1.20 % and the drying time which showed the highest yield was 15 and 20 days with 2.90 % and 2.70 % yield, respectively, with the lowest level humidity of 16%. The yields obtained in fluidized bed drying did not change as the natural drying to between 1.64% and 1.7%. It is concluded that the decreased level of the sheets increases the yield of oil and the temperature in the fluidized bed is essential for the removal of water from the leaves necessary to increase the yield

Estudo urbano e ambiental da circulação urbana do bairro de Santo Amaro, cidade de São Paulo

This work is resulted of studies about the urban circulation in the modern cities. It was developed from two case studies: the city of São Paulo, specifically Santo Amaro's neighborhood and the city of Regensburg in Germany. The urban circulation of these places was analyzed starting from the premise that the daily of the inhabitants is a relevant factor to be considered. It was researched the types of transportation, the accessibility, and the clearance of public transportations. One of the main purposes of this work was to present general guidelines for the improvement urban circulation in the modern cities, as well as to supply didactic material that contribute to the reflection about urban circulation focusing priorly on the problems of traffic of driving force vehicles
