A citation analysis was carried out on the most important research journals in the field of Catalan literature between 1974 and 2003. The indicators and qualitative parameters obtained show the value of performing citation analysis in cultural and linguistic areas that are poorly covered by the A&HCI. Catalan literature shows a similar pattern to that of humanities in general, but it could still be in a stage of consolidation because too little work has as yet been published.

AbstractThis article demonstrates the importance of Angela Carter's translations of Charles Perrault's contes into English and argues for their profound influence on her subsequent literary career. Against feminist critics who rejected fairy tales as conservative and informed by patriarchal structures and values, Carter reclaimed Perrault for feminism by recovering the critical edge and emancipating potential of his Histoires ou contes du temps passé, Avec des Moralités. This essay shows, through a comparative reading of "La Belle au bois dormant" and "The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood," that Carter opposed the worldly "politics of experience" that she found in Perrault to the Disneyfied imagery of the Sleeping Beauty myth and modernized the critique of early marriages already contained in Perrault's Moralités. The subversive power of Carter's work, therefore, is not directed against Perrault but rather toward cultural and commercial appropriations of the fairy tale, which promote a naïve view of marriage.Recommended CitationHennard Dutheil de la Rochère, Martine. Purpose: Neuroblastoma represents 8 to 10% of all pediatric tumors and account for 15% of cancer deaths in children. Neuroblastoma may arise anywhere sympathetic tissue is present and its clinical presentation may be very variable. Therefore, a significant number of unusual tumor presentation and imaging findings are possible. The purpose of this pictorial essay is to review the unusual imaging findings of neuroblastoma. Methods and materials: We retrospectively revised the 25 cases f neuroblastoma detected and treated at our institution in the last 3 years and selected those cases with atypical imaging findings at the initial diagnosis and the follow-up studies. Results: A significant number of our studies showed atypical imaging findings concerning the site of origin, the initial characteristics and extension of the primary tumor or the site of metastasis. Conclusion: The variability of origin and the changing clinical evolution of neuroblastoma may originate a wide spectrum of unusual imaging findings, which should be recognized to allow a correct diagnosis.

Translations into Catalan of English and American authors during the final quarter of the nineteenth century are few and far between. Numerically, English-language literature most likely ranks fifth or sixth among all the translations of this period. We take inventory here of translations found in Catalan magazines from this time (the oldest dates from 1868) and in published series that came out at this time (if these continued until later, we trace them up to their final year). At the same time, the translators are examined, including reference, where available, as to whether the translations are direct or indirect. Finally, we consider some possible causes for the low English-language volume in Catalan translation during the period.
