Levante popular da juventude brasileira: saímos do Facebook

The paper studies the mobilization occurred in June 2013 in Brazil, initially under the banner of the Movement Free Pass, but without the existence of a lead, but multiple voices that alternate in search of social and economic change. The object of study is the communication made through social networks and their realization, or realization, the streets of major cities. The rallies demonstrate the power of communications media and a new phenomenon of talk, the use of social networks, now as uniting factor and not just a showcase of everyday life. The internet has become a new means of communication easy and free access, in addition to its fast dissipation data. Thus, the youth was used such technology to an uprising in the pursuit of social improvement of the cities where marches happened. Such a move still without an academic and social needs to be discussed so that, in addition to understood, can expand contributions to society, helping it in its claims. Was chosen as the site for the #causabrasil study and understanding of issues in which the public expresses dissatisfaction. The site performs an analysis with the combination of hastags a list of pre-registered and a list of terms used by different users of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Google, through monitoring tool Seekr, and an infographic presents the main political demands of the population.

The production of sound, clean fruit is unquestionably one of the major problems facing the modern fruit grower. Culture may be neglected and pruning delayed for a time but the omission of sprays for even a single season demonstrates their absolute necessity. This applies equally to the commercial grower and to the farmer or gardener who has only a few trees. Spray materials, equipment, management, schedules, insect pests and orchard diseases are discussed in this 1928 extension circular.

RB34-71 Effects of Inflation and Deflation Upon Nebraska Agriculture, 1914 to 1932

Nebraska farmers prospered during the period which followed the depression of the nineties and preceded the beginning of the World War. To be sure the prosperity was not uniformly distributed either by years or by areas. The corn crop was unusually short in a large portion of the state in 1901 and an almost total failure in many of the southern counties in 1913. Chinch bugs did considerable injury in 1901 and the Hessian fly in 1905 and 1914. There was noticeable damage from insects in some areas in other years. No part of the state, however, suffered from long-continued drouth or repeated ravages of insect pests. The depression of 1907 affected credit and prices very severly for a few months, but recovery was rapid and within less than a year business was again moving forward. This 1934 research bulletin covers the problems of inflation and deflation; changes in the prices of various commodities during inflation and deflation; prices and purchasing power of Nebraska farm products, 1914 to 1932; adjustments during inflation and deflation; the effect of wages on Nebraska agriculture; taxes; Nebraska farm income; changes in types of farming in Nebraska, 1914 to 1932; the banking situation; Nebraska farm land prices; and the effects of inflation and deflation upon Nebraska businesses.

Forty-Fifth Annual Report of the Agricultural Experiment Station of Nebraska, February 1, 1932

This report covers the investigations, expenditures, and publications of the Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station for the fiscal year June 30, 1931. During the year 68 projects have been under investigation at the main station. These have covered a wide range of subjects. At the various substations the work is planned to meet the needs of the different regions. The funds for carrying on the work of the stations are derived from federal and state sources. The work is carried on in definite projects according to the supporting fund. Satisfactory progress was made on the research program. During the year eight projects were completed and seven new ones added. The selection of new projects is on the basis of most urgent need, together with the ability of the Experiment Station to carry the project. The financial depression in which agriculture still finds itself has increased rather than decreased the demand upon the Experiment Station and the College for new and definite information. This demand has been taken care of insofar as possible. During the year covered by this report eleven bulletins, nine research bulletins, and one circular have been published by the Experiment Station. In addition 22 technical papers have been prepared by members of the staff and printed in various technical and professional journals.

[ES]La neolitización ha sido entendida como un proceso de adopción de innovaciones tecnológicas y económicas por parte de grupos cazadores recolectores que, o bien traídas desde fuera a través de una difusión démica, o bien a través de redes de intercambio, acabaron por asimilarse. Sin embargo, no se ha considerado la neolitización desde la óptica de la entrada en contacto de dos tipos de formaciones socioeconómicas con diferente grado de organización y desarrollo. En este trabajo analizaremos y confrontaremos las variables que configuran los rasgos esenciales de ambas realidades sociales para, a través de un ejemplo concreto, analizar las posibles situaciones de contacto. [EN] The neolithisation has been understood as a process of adoption of technological and economic innovations by groups of hunter-gatherers that, brought from outside through a demic diffusion or through exchange networks, were finally assimilated. However, neolithisation has not been considered from the perspective of the of two types of socioeconomic formations with diverse level of organisation and development. In this paper, we analyse and compare the variables that shape the essential features of both social realities, in order to analyse posible contact situations through a concrete example.

Vengono studiati più approfonditamente il complesso terme - albergo e la piazza sul mare, simboli del turismo balneare della riviera adriatica.

Questo progetto consiste nella riqualificazione del Parco di Levante di Cesenatico. Si tratta di un complesso termale, alberghiero, residenziale e commerciale. Vengono studiati più approfonditamente il complesso terme - albergo e la piazza sul mare, simboli del turismo balneare della riviera adriatica.

Stima di abbondanza di Tursiops truncatus (Montagu, 1821) nel levante ligure ed evoluzione dei marcaggi naturali utili alla fotoidentificazione

Il bacino ligure, pur facendo parte della più grande area marina protetta del Mar Mediterraneo, il Santuario Pelagos, risulta essere una regione in cui le attività umane stanno condizionando la presenza di numerose specie di Cetacei. Fra tutte Tursiops truncatus, in virtù della sua distribuzione limitata per lo più alle acque basse (<200 metri) è la specie maggiormente soggetta alle conseguenze dirette e indirette dell’impatto antropico. Questo elaborato è stato condotto all’interno del più ampio progetto “Delfini Metropolitani” coordinato dall’Acquario di Genova. L’area di studio presa in esame è l’intero levante ligure con tre stazioni di ormeggio: Genova, Rapallo e Lerici. Tramite la tecnica della cattura-ricattura fotografica è stato possibile analizzare la distribuzione ed effettuare delle stime di abbondanza per il periodo di studio 2005 – 2012. Dai risultati e dal confronto con altri studi è emerso che il tursiope vive entro la piattaforma continentale e sembrerebbe che all’aumentare di quest’ultima aumenti la dimensione della popolazione. Per il periodo di studio considerato la popolazione non fa registrare trend demografici significativi, rimanendo costante fra 150 - 250 individui. In questo elaborato si sono anche studiate le differenze fra maschi e femmine nell’evoluzione dei marcaggi naturali. I risultati preliminari hanno mostrato una differenza significativa fra i due sessi. Il maschio ha un valore maggiore come cambiamento rispetto alle femmine, questo è dovuto al fatto che gli individui maschi hanno interazioni spesso aggressive per poter accedere alle femmine. Infine grazie all’analisi dell’evoluzione dei marcaggi naturali e delle differenze trovate, si è proposto un nuovo metodo per poter sessare gli animali. Questo qui proposto, comunque, è un metodo derivante da uno studio preliminare e si ha bisogno di successivi studi per testarne l’efficienza e l’affidabilità.
