Large mixed media drawing. Work has been exhibited in 'Something in the air' at Christine Abrahams Gallery, 25 May-6 Jun, 2010. 'Something in the air' was an exhibition in which six selected artists, including Dr Deborah Walker, exhibited their artwork at 27 Gipps St, Richmond, Victoria.

After the flood

I remember

Oil painting in 15 panels that was part of an exhibition at Metro Gallery, Malvern. The exhibition consisted of 10 Australian artists contributing to the theme of Climate change.

In the morning

Oil painting exhibited as part of a group exhibition. Exhibition was titled 'From Realism to Nihilism' and was of works by the Shakespeare Grove Artists. It was curated by Kirsten Rann.

The dictionary

The Portia Geach Memorial Award is a celebration of female Australian artists. It’s Australia’s most prestigious portrait prize for female artists and has greatly contributed to the development of female artists in this country. It was established by Florence Kate Geach in 1961 in memory of her sister, Portia Geach and is awarded each year to the best portrait painted from life of some man or woman distinguished in Art, Letters or the Sciences. Our judges this year are Jane Watters, Director S.H. Ervin Gallery, Dr Lindy Lee, Senior Lecturer, Sydney College of the Arts and Ben Quilty, Artist. The artwork The Dictionary will be hung in the S.H. Ervin Gallery from 3 October until 16 November, with the exhibition open from 4 October, 1st Prize money $30,000

Kasper Hauser (bronze sculpture)

Original, edition of 1, Bronze sculpture of Bird titled: "Kasper Hauser" referring to the mystical German 19th century figure in history who was discovered in a town centre. As he had been isolated all his life he showed great wonderment at nature and music.
