Análisis de tres procesos de un e-commerce : Búsqueda de producto, atención al cliente y compra

Aquest projecte de l'àrea d'interacció humana amb els ordinadors vol mostrar algunes de les característiques de tres dels processos que intervenen en la compra de productes o serveis per Internet. Els processos que s'hi analitzaran seran el de cerca de productes mitjançant un motor de cerca, el d'ajuda o atenció al client i el de compra.

Mitjançant l'anàlisi d'un cas 'redisseny del web de l'hotel Jucamar' es porta a terme una aproximació a la situació actual de la usabilitat en el comerç electrònic espanyol.

Métabolisme énergétique de la femme enceinte [Energy metabolism in the pregnant woman].

The maternal and foetal anabolic phase characterizing pregnancy requires energy storage and hence a state of positive energy balance. Dietary surveys, however, have shown an increase in energy intake during pregnancy of small magnitude only. Furthermore, indirect calorimetry measurements indicate an elevation of basal or resting energy expenditure (EE), particularly during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. These results are confirmed by measurements performed in a respiration chamber which showed that the rate of 24 hours EE of pregnant women is significantly more elevated in the 3rd trimester than in the nonpregnant state; the latter is explained by a rise of basal EE and to a smaller extent by an increase in energy cost of moving around as a result of the greater body weight. In contrast, when the results are expressed per unit body weight, the difference in 24 hours EE observed during pregnancy disappeared. It seems that energy sparing mechanisms-which are still largely unknown-may come into play during this period: postprandial thermogenesis appears to be blunted during pregnancy. This indicates an increase in net efficiency of food energy utilization. The degree of adaptation of physical activity-which has not been previously investigated-remains a research topic of great interest for the future.

Incontinence urinaire chez la femme: prise en charge en médecine de premier recours [Urinary incontinence in women: management in primary care]

Urinary incontinence in women is a largely under-evaluated problem that affects nearly one out of two adult women. Even thouh its physiopathology is complex and its etiologies are multiple (and often intricate), urodynamic investigations are not considered necessary before starting a conservative therapy, which can be initiated by the primary care physician. Conservative management is based upon lifestyle modifications, specialized physiotherapy, and in certain cases medication. In the case of insufficient response after three months, the patient should be recommended to a specialist who can evaluate the need for a surgical procedure.

Creació d'un e-commerce

La finalitat d'aquest projecte és desenvolupar una aplicació de comerç electrònic per a la venda de productes en la xarxa. El projecte haurà de tenir dues parts ben diferenciades: el frontal -que serà visible per a qualsevol usuari de la xarxa- i la part d'administrador -nomès accessible per a l'administrador-. El projecte estarà desenvolupat amb eines J2EE, Ajax, jQuery i HTML5, oferint una total accessibilitat per als actuals navegadors.

Cycles de vie d'une femme et tabac [The health consequences of smoking for women at different stages of their life].

Women who smoke underestimate the risks of smoking on their health, especially the impact of the anti-estrogenic and toxic effects of tobacco at the different stages of their life. The risk of female infertility related to tobacco is now well-proven, as is the risk of arterial and venous thrombotic event when tobacco is associated with oral contraception. Many foetal and maternal pathologies are linked to maternal smoking. Regarding post-menopausal women, smoking is associated with an increased osteoporotic and cardio-vascular risk. Doctors are at the first line to advise women and propose them help and assistance in their quit smoking process in a way adapted to their situation.
