A pesquisa tem como objetivo central investigar as propostas de formação do professor/pesquisador em Educação Física nos diferentes Programas de Pós- Graduações em Educação Física no Brasil: 1. Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Atividade Física da Universidade Salgado Filho - PGCAF/UNIVERSO; 2. Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências do Esporte da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - PPCE/UFMG: 3. Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências do Movimento Humano da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - PPGMH/UFRGS; 4. Programa de Pós-Graduação em Motricidade Humana da Universidade Paulista - PPGCM/UNESP: 5. Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Física da Universidade de São Paulo PPGEF/USP. Pesquisa documental e bibliográfica teve como bases para investigação arquivos oferecidos pela CAPES acerca da classificação e denominações dos programas assim como o projeto pedagógico de cada instituição, conteúdo das revistas e sites dos programas e a bibliografia referente ao assunto. A pesquisa se insere dentro do paradigma de pesquisa critica assentada no materialismo histórico dialético, como mote cientifico, reflexão filosófica e posicionamento político. Com o resultado identificamos que as diferentes concepções de programas na área, variam de propostas que abrangem um amplo campo de pesquisas e atuação à aquelas que restringem o campo, variantes que remontam as inúmeras propostas de Educação física surgidas nas décadas de 1970 e 1980.

This text is mainly aimed to address essential aspects of teacher formation in the light of education-work relations in the higher education, from our systematic experience in higher education teaching, particularly teaching and research in the field of Didactics discipline. This formulation is justified considering our concern in seeking to situate this discussion in the context of bringing together knowledge areas and the field of teaching knowledge. Still, our choice to develop such an approach in the light of work-education relationship is due to the belief about the possibilities of seeking to overcome the requirements imposed by capitalism to our educational system, within the possible contradictions of these relationships. In this context the teachers’ formation in higher education gains social and strategic importance, taking on the task of forming individuals of “action-reflection-action” in a society established historically based on the social relations which settle in the light of capital’s multiple determinations. It appears that, in this sense, the major confrontations have been given within the discussions about what to prioritize or combine in the list of criteria and content for teacher’s formation. In Didactic, we seek to emphasize discussions that we consider with a philosophical background, referring to the orientation of teaching practice in knowledge of contemporary ideological struggle; socio-historical, referring to the possibility of formation of disciplines, among them Didactic, and curriculums and references to support its guidance in the process of teacher’s formation. This context of discussion is based on the concrete teaching practice with a view to transformation and to search for new syntheses in terms of knowledge and in terms of historical reality. Then therefore, our methodological approach grounded in the dimensions of the same unit: historical materialism as posture, method and as praxis.

This paper aims to base the thesis that the varied currents of the post-modern thought, in so far as have recourse to relativism to a greater or lesser degree, contribute to the legitimation of the religious education in public schools and, in a broader aspect, the religion in the public spaces. The methodological resource used to demonstrate the link between post-modern thought and religious education is the analysis at the historical and dialectical materialism perspective of publications produced to increase teachers on this discipline that is, in compliance with the Constitution, optional for students and mandatory for public elementary schools. The subject of this analysis is the learning content and has as prime concern to highlight the discourse of legitimation recurrent in authors when it is explicit in itself and explicit when it does not. The “religious education in public schools” as object of study allows us to understand the relationship between the post-modern thought, with its hegemony space within the human sciences and contextualized in the neoliberal economic environment, and the “learning to learn” pedagogies currently hegemonic in the educational landscape. We intend to contribute to the legal debate on laity, the philosophical debate on post-modernism and especially to the debate on the pedagogical theories in the educational fundaments.

This study aims to understand if intellectual work provides conditions for the emergence of psychic suffering inuniversity teachers in a public institution of higher education. Use is made of the philosophical assumptions ofhistorical materialism, work as a category of nuclear analysis of human phenomena, and also the categories ofalienated labor and intellectual work. It also refers to mental illnesses as a social production. The research subjectswere teachers with contracts of employment in exclusive dedication (RDIDP). It is used as an instrument for datacollection, a questionnaire with closed and opened questions of opinative character. Responses were categorized andanalyzed qualitatively and had not intention of giving statistical data. However, in order to better display, the samepercentage of the sample are presented, among which one third (29.6%) have some health problem after enteringuniversity. Of those, 15,5% are related to the organization of work, 5,6% to the working conditions, 2,8%concomitantly to the conditions and the organization of work. The results indicate that the organization of work in apublic university has shown itself as a space of psychic suffering, but also of alienation.
