Taking into consideration the previous critical interpretations about Baudelaire’s poem called “Le cygne” (Benjamin, Oehler, Barbosa), this article highlights some relevant aspects about allegorical structure, seeking to demonstrate how the feeling of exile and the melancholy, which define the poetic individual and which represent underlying themes in Baudelaire’s poem, can be read through a frame of reference which links both historical-political and psychoanalytical interpretations.

From the assumption that digital photography not only opened new photographic practices, but also formulated new forms of image appropriations, including how photos are linked to our collective memory, this paper aims to study the Tumblrs pages that use historic photographs in its compositions. From the notion that the archives are an opening to the public space and a place of symbolic assignment, we will discuss the notion that the function of these photographs suffers a displacement that gives priority to the file itself as an object of interest over the event alluded. In other words, it is the file that becomes the object of the representation of a place of memory.

This paper, through a literature review, demonstrates the importance of the use of brands by men, initially as a form of expression and communication. History has shown that the visual language and the use of images in the form of the brands, proved a very efficient and direct interpretation, with accuracy to what it represents, setting the brand as a financially valued member. The paper deals with analysis of the Spanish example that argues the way that touristic points has been used to represent places in the whole world; then, at the same time, it measures the case of the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro where brands are created for special events and there is not a representative tourist brand to this town; But when analyzing the places in the city, symbols like The Copacabana Promenade has a strong presence in the collective imagination, that's the reason why it has been used as an element of strong local identity and in the Industrial Design.

El proyecto propone un relevamiento de las marcas/artefactos que dan cuenta de políticas de memoria, del Estado y de organizaciones sociales, instaladas en los espacios públicos de las ciudades de Posadas y Oberá. A partir del reconocimiento y comparación de estos lugares de memoria, se busca explorar patrones de construcción de las memorias colectivas, sus tensiones y usos presentes. Interesa establecer vinculaciones entre estas memorias e identidades nacionales-regionales, composición étnica y perfiles socio-económicos-culturales, de ciudades centradas una en actividades gubernamentales administrativas y otra en la producción e industria agrícola, que exhibe como rasgos distintivos su condición de espacio de localización de inmigrantes-pioneros europeos. La condición de ciudad ribereña y de frontera con Paraguay, de Posadas, en contraposición con Oberá, situada en la zona de las sierras centrales próxima a la frontera con Brasil y la dicotomía capital-interior, son otras razones por las cuales se seleccionó esta unidad análisis. Como otro objetivo del proyecto se propone constituir un corpus de fuentes que contribuyan a la incorporación de tecnologías, lenguajes y modos de comunicación visual, a partir de los cuales se puedan elaborar propuestas educativas que contribuyan al conocimiento de la historia regional y a la preservación del patrimonio cultural.
