A Alemanha sofreu um grande retrocesso econômico na primeira metade do século XX por culpa da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Apesar de estar com sua infraestrutura destruída e sua capacidade de produção devastada, em dez anos a Alemanha Ocidental consegue se reinserir no mercado internacional de forma competitiva. Esse estudo pretende expor a situação na qual a Alemanha se encontrava após a guerra e demonstrar os principais pontos cruciais para sua reconstrução nos primeiros anos da segunda metade do século XX

The contemporary Brazilian poetic production is marked by a strong diversity in the forms of expression and the thematic contents that it makes circulate; it is found either turned to the critical reading of the Brazilian poetry‟s most traditional repertoire, or more concerned about the research of new expressive models afforded by language. Such constitutive diversity, which operates on the intermediate gradients between these two tendencies, finds itself underlined by the little orthodox practice of the production divulgation and circulation, that appropriated the internet and the poetic performances to compensate the low paper-based edition. What we have is a type of poetic dialectology which identifies the poetry readers group. Verifying the most regular procedures in the construction of the dialectology, through the work of Eucanaã Ferraz and João Cabral, is the objective of this paper.

Dance-fight-game, art, religiosity, therapy, entertainment, ritual act, in short, "a way of being", are some of the various definitions/qualities attributed to the afro-brazilian cultural manifestation called "Capoeira Angola". Multivocal polysemic in its essence, Capoeira Angola is expressed in different languages which ranges from the types of touches of the musical instruments that make up the orchestra, through different types of songs, until we get the non-verbal communication established by the bodies of "capoeiristas" in the game and/or in the training body situation. The aim of this paper is to think of the line drawing in space, a significant problem in the execution of body movements of this practice. To address the relationship between line, efficiency and aesthetics of body movements, it is developed an ethnography in the Academy of João Pequeno de Pastinha-Sports Center of Capoeira Angola, based on anthropological interpretative approach, in which the concept of culture is semiotic.

“Virtual Studio” is a system developed for the creation of virtual sets, as well as any threedimensional virtual objects that can be digitally integrated to the scenes captured on a real television studio. Through techniques such as chroma-key, computer graphics , augmented reality and virtual reality is possible flexibility in producing content for digital TV, reduce cost and meet 12.485/2011 law, the Brazilian “Law of Pay TV”, which has among its objectives “to increase the production and circulation of diverse and quality Brazilian audiovisual content, generating jobs, income, royalties, professionalism and strengthening of national culture (ANCINE , Brazilian Nacional Cinema Agency ). Based on this background, an overview of the benefits of using the technologies mentioned for the production of content for digital television is presented. This work involves the development of a system of Interactive Virtual Studio called ARSTUDIO per team of researchers from the Posgraduate Program in Digital Television: Information and Knowledge at UNESP, São Paulo State University in Bauru, State of São Paulo, Brazil.

This long-term extension of an 8-week randomized, naturalistic study in patients with panic disorder with or without agoraphobia compared the efficacy and safety of clonazepam (n = 47) and paroxetine (n = 37) over a 3-year total treatment duration. Target doses for all patients were 2 mg/d clonazepam and 40 mg/d paroxetine (both taken at bedtime). This study reports data from the long-term period (34 months), following the initial 8-week treatment phase. Thus, total treatment duration was 36 months. Patients with a good primary outcome during acute treatment continued monotherapy with clonazepam or paroxetine, but patients with partial primary treatment success were switched to the combination therapy. At initiation of the long-term study, the mean doses of clonazepam and paroxetine were 1.9 (SD, 0.30) and 38.4 (SD, 3.74) mg/d, respectively. These doses were maintained until month 36 (clonazepam 1.9 [ SD, 0.29] mg/d and paroxetine 38.2 [SD, 3.87] mg/d). Long-term treatment with clonazepam led to a small but significantly better Clinical Global Impression (CGI)-Improvement rating than treatment with paroxetine (mean difference: CGI-Severity scale -3.48 vs -3.24, respectively, P = 0.02; CGI-Improvement scale 1.06 vs 1.11, respectively, P = 0.04). Both treatments similarly reduced the number of panic attacks and severity of anxiety. Patients treated with clonazepam had significantly fewer adverse events than those treated with paroxetine (28.9% vs 70.6%, P < 0.001). The efficacy of clonazepam and paroxetine for the treatment of panic disorder was maintained over the long-term course. There was a significant advantage with clonazepam over paroxetine with respect to the frequency and nature of adverse events.

Whole-rock geochemistry, combined with Sr-Nd isotopic composition of pelitic sedimentary rocks, have been considered to be useful parameters to estimate not only their provenance but also to make inferences about their depositional environment as well as the weathering processes they have been through. The basal sedimentary units of the basins of the northeastern Brazilian continental margin, particularly those of the pre-rift sequence, have been subject of interest of studies based on chemical and isotopic data, since they lack fossil content to establish their age and, therefore, stratigraphic correlations are difficult. The major and trace element contents as well as Sr-Nd isotopic compositions of whole-rock shale samples from five outcrops attributed to the pre-rift supersequence of the Camamu Basin were analyzed with the purpose of characterizing and obtaining further information that would allow a better correlation between the sites studied. The geochemical data suggest that the rocks exposed in the studied outcrops are part of the same sedimentary unit and that they might be correlated to the Capianga Member of the Alianca Formation of the Reconcavo Basin, exposed to the north of the Camamu Basin. The chemical index of alteration (CIA) suggests conditions associated with a humid tropical/subtropical climate at the time of deposition. Nd isotopic compositions indicate provenance from the Paleoproterozoic rocks of the Sao Francisco craton. The results presented here, therefore, show that the combined use of chemical and isotopic analyses may be of great interest to characterize and correlate lithologically homogeneous clastic sedimentary sequences. O que caracteriza o jornalismo de variedades na imprensa brasileira? O que confere identidade aos cadernos e seções culturais que focalizam o lazer e cobrem o entretenimento? São os gêneros e formatos jornalísticos? Ou são os conteúdos temáticos? Quais os parâmetros para compreender de que maneira as pautas de cultura e entretenimento têm sido apropriados por jornais editados no país? Para dar respostas a essas questões, foram observados, sistematicamente, a forma e o conteúdo de cinco publicações regionais Diário do Nordeste, Correio do Povo, Valeparaibano, Agora São Paulo e Gazeta do Tatuapé , além de um periódico de prestígio nacional Folha de S.Paulo. Optando pelo método misto de pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa , a investigação mapeia, além dos gêneros, a geografia política, a cartografia cultural e as temáticas das matérias vigentes nos espaços já mencionados, a fim de estabelecer comparações. Os resultados sinalizam uma diversidade de produções, as quais respeitam as singularidades das regiões em que se inserem. Em geral, pode-se dizer que, na editoria de variedades, figuram tanto assuntos comuns ao jornalismo cultural música, artes visuais, artes cênicas, cinema, etc. quanto matérias a respeito de atrações televisivas, celebridades, tendências comportamentais e outros assuntos ligados à diversão, ocupando espaço significativo nas páginas dos impressos. Como reflexo da preferência dos veículos por uma produção jornalística voltada à indústria cultural e aos shows midiáticos, a cultura massiva se mostrou predominante em todas as publicações analisadas. Todavia, mesmo que a tônica do jornalismo de variedades esteja na diversão, essa especialidade não se caracteriza como um produto de entretenimento; o que ela faz é orientar como e onde se divertir. Não por acaso, constatou-se que os gêneros jornalísticos do espaço em questão, salvo raras exceções, estão circunscritos ao informativo e ao utilitário. Muito mais do que gerar cultura e entretenimento, as variedades cumprem o papel de guia do lazer.(AU)
Dialogização de vozes: o fio construtor do estilo de José Bezerra Gomes no romance A porta e o vento

This research aims to investigate the process of stylistic construction in novelistic prose of Northeastern Brazilian writter José Bezerra Gomes, taking as a corpus his novel called A porta e o vento. The theoretical foundations supporting this study are related to the ideas disseminated by a group of linguistic researchers known as Bakhtin Circle, especially the notions of dialogic language, literary word, concrete utterance, social voices, and sociological style/stylistic. Concerning to methodological guidance, this work is characterized by adopting the interpretive paradigm of socio-historical background, still situated in the great field of Applied Linguistics, an undisciplinary area of research and frontier whose primary focus is concrete and situated language. The analysis allowed me to hear several social voices embodied therein, realizing a variety of dialogs, numerous worldviews in constant struggle, that due to the management and the finish given by the author, eventually create a tone, a unique composition compared to other discourses and current styles in his midst. Ideological clashes are evident: the voice of tradition versus particular character Santos’ voice regarding the institution of marriage; confrontation between antagonistic hinterland pictures - a living hinterland (rich and diverse) as opposed to the stereotypical notion of hinterland (poor and sterile); and the door and the wind as a metaphor of a fighting arena and a hint of poeticization of the language of prose. The main feature of Bezerra’s style in A porta e o vento is related to the aforesaid modes dialogization voices present in the novel. Therefore, one can found veiled polemic, dialogical replicas and veiled dialogues, which are categories already discussed in Bakhtin's theory, but also other new modes dialogization, grounded in the dynamics of living and concrete language

Location systems have become increasingly part of people's lives. For outdoor environments, GPS appears as standard technology, widely disseminated and used. However, people usually spend most of their daily time in indoor environments, such as: hospitals, universities, factories, buildings, etc. In these environments, GPS does not work properly causing an inaccurate positioning. Currently, to perform the location of people or objects in indoor environments no single technology could reproduce for indoors the same result achieved by GPS for outdoors environments. Due to this, it is necessary to consider use of information from multiple sources using diferent technologies. Thus, this work aims to build an Adaptable Platform for Indoor location. Based on this goal, the IndoLoR platform is proposed. This platform aims to allow information reception from diferent sources, data processing, data fusion, data storage and data retrieval for the indoor location context.
