This doctoral thesis starts with a comprehensive introduction seeking to anchor the problematics of the ethics of the poetician translator (a translator of literary and similar texts) in a theoretical framework drawing on moral philosophy. This introductory section is followed by six published papers (four journal articles and two papers from conference proceedings), forming the main body of the thesis, which progressively develop a possible application of this theoretical framework. Starting from the acknowledgement that one of the ethical stakes in translation is constructed around the relation to the foreign and to the other , the translation process is scrutinized through the prism of the philosophies of Dialogue , focusing on how the translating actors relate to their task. The central notions around which philosophies of Dialogue are built are introduced and applied to translation. The question of intersubjective relations, addressed from a philosophical perspective, is developed with the help of the works of Martin Buber, Gabriel Marcel, Emmanuel Levinas and Paul Ric ur. The introductory section presents and explicates the thought of each of these philosophers and extracts the concepts that are then developed in the articles and conference papers collected here. Each paper concentrates on the notions of one of the philosophers referred to above and places these notions in perspective with other philosophies of Dialogue. All the papers contribute to explicating the relationship between the multiple philosophical notions that address the problematics of alterity and the condition of the translator. The work as a whole leads to the idea that the task of the poetician translator is not only to translate a text properly but above all to rouse and increase the desire of linguistic communities to live together.

Tratando-se de obra anônima, De l'abus des nuditez gorge - diz o aviso "do impressor ao leitor" - foi ditada pelo zelo e piedade de um fidalgo francês que, passando por Flandres e vendo a maioria das mulheres se apresentarem com o colo e os ombros nus e assim se aproximarem do confessionário e até da mesa da comunhão, afirmou que se escandalizara bastante com este costume e prometeu enviar àquele país uma mensagem para mostrar o abuso e o desregramento de tal atitude. Assim, é atribuída a dois autores: Jacques Boileau (1635-1716) e Foulques de Neuilly (m. 1201). Foi catalogada pela Livrary of Congress sob o nome do primeiro, mas como assinala Barbier, é mais provável que tenha sido escrita por Foluques de Neuily, pároco de Beavais. Jacques Boileau foi um erudito francês, doutorado pela Sorbonne e autor de numerosas pequenas obras, todas em latim e sobre questões curiosas de teologia. Suas obras são, na maior parte, anônimas ou pseudônimas.

The role of ciliates in the pelagic life cycle of the Mediterranean [Translation from: Rapports et Proces Verbaux des Reunions-Conseil International pour l'Exploration de la Mer 17, 511-512, 1963]

During hydrographic and plankton studies carried out since 1960 in the coastal zone between the Ebro and Castellon (western Mediterranean), data has been collected which confirms the importance of ciliates in the composition and activity of the plankton. The ciliates in 413 samples of 100 ml of water were counted, having been examined with the Utermohl microscope after sedimentation. The samples studied were distributed according to the density of their population. subject for study. The author concludes that recognition of the role of ciliates as an important link in the food chain of the sea would simplify the interpretation of certain problems posed by the nutrition of certain groups of planktonic animals.
