This Project aims to study and verify the importance of effective communication in public organizations, considering current factors such as globalization and new trends in the behavior of the individuals. The issue is relevant because of the need to understand the relationships between the public institution and the various interest groups and research development of new practices of Public Relations as regards their influence on the municipal level. In this context, we present the concept of city, communication, citizenship and participation, focusing on the integration of these elements in the concept of Public Communication. This paper aims to discuss the current issues involving urban water courses and, subsequently through the design of an urban park qualify the Permanent Preservation Area of the Córrego dos Macacos, locate in the city of São José do Rio Preto - São Paulo, seeking the population recognition on this living hydric resource and therefore achieve urbanity. For that purpose, we studied the urbanistic planning of the city of São José do Rio Preto regarding the proposed theme and the area of the Córrego dos Macacos valley, one of the segments of the Parque Setorial, in two previous moments as well as some key concepts, starting from a methodology of bibliographic studies analysis. After this analysis, it were determined some general guidelines for the entire extension of the stream, and finally it was chosen a specific segment to formulate proposals for a planned and design space according to the characteristics of the place

The housing issue in Brazil is'nt a recent problem and has been discussed, worked and questioned in the institutional framework, especially with regard to the critical considerations on the topic and urban problems involved. We as milestones in the Brazilian housing policy the National Housing Bank - BNH, 1964, the height of the military regime in Brazil, and the Minha Casa, Minha Vida, in 2009. Both have questions that approach and distance themselves regarding changes in the Brazilian housing policy, where we have the emergence of new forms of knowledge production and housing consumption. Thus we have a number of advances in ways of acquiring social housing, even at different times, it is characterized as capitalist forms of this issue. Thus the spatial process of housing developments arising from these programs reflect the change in space - time that they lay down, turning the urban space of the cities in this case the city of Presidente Prudente / SP

The information technology - IT- benefits have been more perceived during the last decades. Both IT and business managers are dealing with subjects like governance, IT-Business alignment, information security and others on their top priorities. Talking about governance, specifically, managers are facing it with a technical approach, that gives emphasis on protection against invasions, antivirus systems, access controls and others technical issues. The IT risk management, commonly, is faced under this approach, that means, has its importance reduced and delegated to IT Departments. On the last two decades, a new IT risk management perspective raised, bringing an holistic view of IT risk to the organization. According to this new perspective, the strategies formulation process should take into account the IT risks. With the growing of IT dependence on most of organizations, the necessity of a better comprehension about the subject becomes more clear. This work shows a study in three public organizations of the Pernambuco State that investigates how those organizations manage their IT risks. Structured interviews were made with IT managers, and later, analyzed and compared with conceptual categories found in the literature. The results shows that the IT risks culture and IT governance are weakly understood and implemented on those organizations, where there are not such an IT risk methodology formally defined, neither executed. In addition, most of practices suggested in the literature were found, even without an alignment with an IT risks management process

OBJETIVO: Analisar as organizações sociais de saúde à luz do controle público e da garantia da eqüidade no acesso aos serviços de saúde. MÉTODOS: Utilizou-se a técnica de estudo de caso e foram selecionadas duas organizações sociais de saúde na região metropolitana de São Paulo. As categorias analíticas foram eqüidade no acesso e controle público, baseando-se em entrevistas com informantes-chave e relatórios técnico-administrativos. RESULTADOS: Observou-se que financiamento global e o controle administrativo das organizações sociais de saúde são atribuições do gestor estadual. A presença do gestor local é importante para a garantia da eqüidade no acesso, sendo que o controle público se expressa por ações fiscalizadoras mediante procedimentos contábil-financeiros. CONCLUSÕES: A eqüidade no acesso e o controle público não são contemplados na gestão dessas organizações. A questão central encontra-se na capacidade do poder público se fazer presente na implementação dessa modalidade no âmbito local, garantido a eqüidade no acesso e contemplando o controle público.

OBJETIVO: Fazer uma análise do Sistema de Informação do Programa de Controle do Câncer de Mama (SIS-MAMA), implantado em 2009 pelo Ministério da Saúde. MATERIAIS E MÉTODOS: Tratou-se de um estudo retrospectivo, feito mediante análise de 1.000 fichas de requisição e resultado de mamografias realizadas pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) nos municípios participantes desta pesquisa, no período de tempo compreendido entre agosto e outubro de 2009. Foram analisados a qualidade das informações enviadas através do processamento desses dados e os desvios gerados pelo não preenchimento ou pelo inadequado preenchimento dos dados nessas fichas. RESULTADOS: O problema mais frequentemente encontrado foi a omissão de dados nas fichas, principalmente no quesito cirurgias anteriores, constatando-se 302 omissões (30,2%). CONCLUSÃO: Apesar do Sistema necessitar de alguns ajustes, pelo lapso temporal transcorrido entre sua criação até sua implementação, esses ajustes não afetam diretamente a validade do Sistema, encontrando-se como principal fator de erros na alimentação do banco de dados do Ministério da Saúde o não preenchimento de informações relevantes para o fechamento dos laudos, e a falta de familiarização e capacitação dos profissionais envolvidos nesse processo e no repasse de dados do resultado da mamografia.

OBJETIVO: comparar duas estratégias de acesso à anticoncepção de emergência (AE): informação e informação com entrega antecipada do método, e sua relação com o uso deste método e com o uso regular de anticoncepcionais. MÉTODOS: DE AGosto de 2004 a janeiro de 2005, foram recrutadas voluntárias de 18 a 49 anos, atendidas em clínicas de saúde reprodutiva em seis cidades brasileiras. Os sujeitos foram distribuídos aleatoriamente no grupo que recebeu informação (Grupo Controle) ou no grupo que recebeu informação e entrega antecipada (Grupo Medicado). Houve visitas de seguimento em quatro e oito meses. Para a análise estatística, foram usados os testes de Person e McNemar. RESULTADOS: dos 823 sujeitos recrutados, 407 completaram os oito meses de observação e constituíram a amostra para análise. A maioria dos sujeitos (61%) não usou AE. Os sujeitos do Grupo Medicado usaram mais AE (57%) do que os do Grupo Controle (18%), e o fizeram mais precocemente em relação ao tempo desde a relação sexual desprotegida. Houve aumento significativo no uso regular de anticoncepcionais entre os sujeitos que usaram AE do Grupo Medicado (88% versus 97%) e uma redução sem significado estatístico no Grupo Controle. CONCLUSÕES: informação e entrega antecipada ampliaram o acesso e uso da AE e não reduziram o uso regular de anticoncepcionais, incluindo preservativos.
