As ltimas dcadas, no caso brasileiro, foram marcadas pela predominncia da estabilidade econmica e desregulamentao estatal no campo da economia, desconsiderando o impacto na vida das pessoas. Quebras e falncias so constatadas como resultado desse processo. Aos trabalhadores surge a oportunidade, com muito esforo, de modelos alternativos nas relaes de trabalho. Aparece nesse contexto, o novo discurso da Economia Solidria que preza por prticas autogestionadas. As Empresas Recuperadas so enquadradas dentro desse novo discurso. Entretanto, nas Empresas Recuperadas e nos empreendimentos da Economia Solidria, o espao frtil proporcionado no campo da subjetividade enfrenta um dilema objetivo. Em sua batalha pela sobrevivncia e sustentao, a organizao dever adotar prticas burocrticas e poder desencantar o espao da participao. Resulta disso, um dilema entre a objetividade, que a gesto demanda, e a subjetividade que o discurso da Economia Solidria exige. Nessa dissertao, prope-se que a participao permite um efeito psicolgico na medida em que assegura uma inter-relao contnua entre o funcionamento das instituies e as qualidades e atitudes das pessoas que atuam em seu interior. Escolhas e decises, dessa forma, se colocam como processo que compe a categoria da participao. Como os trabalhadores das Organizaes da Economia Solidria participam do processo de escolhas e decises em um sistema coletivo e cooperativo de trabalho? Essa a pergunta central desta pesquisa, que tem por objetivo analisar o processo de escolhas e decises em organizaes da Economia Solidria. Nesse intuito realizou-se um estudo de caso por meio da metodologia da pesquisa-ao de uma empresa recuperada no interior de So Paulo. A pesquisa-ao um tipo de pesquisa social, com base emprica, que concebida e realizada em estreita associao com uma ao ou resoluo de um problema. Esse problema, no contexto do estudo de caso, foi a concepo de um processo de formao de funcionrios para futuros cooperados. A trajetria da discusso foi realizada com acompanhamento de um Grupo Tarefa composto por membros (celetistas e cooperados) da organizao. A anlise dos resultados foi construda a partir da fundamentao terica convergindo em trs categorias, que compe o processo de participao, dentro de uma organizao da Economia Solidria: Eu comigo (EUCMG), Eu com o(s) outro(s) (EUCOU) e Eu na Organizao (EUORG). Os resultados mostram que a Empresa estudada no pode ser considerada como autogestionada e est fundamentada em prticas elitizadas. H poucas prticas coletivas e se divide em classes internas (cho-defbrica e staff). Contudo, reconhece-se um grande esforo para chegar a uma nova prtica de gesto coletiva. A participao se d dentro de aspectos formais (assemblia) com predominncia de assuntos burocrticos que no passaram por apropriao coletiva em sua construo. A educatividade ilumina o caminho processual, rompendo com vises finalsticas e alcanando uma sustentabilidade para a organizao.(AU)

Diminuir o consumo de produtos oriundos da economia informal e conscientizar os consumidores acerca dos malefcios do mesmo tem sido um imperativo para os rgos governamentais, organizaes privadas e instituies no governamentais que prezam pela melhoria no ambiente de negcios. No entanto, apesar do apelo feito aos consumidores para no adquirirem produtos do mercado informal, possvel notar nas caladas das ruas e avenidas a existncia de inmeros pontos de venda informais. Neste contexto, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar e analisar os fatores influenciadores do comportamento do consumidor de produtos adquiridos na economia informal da Regio do Grande ABC Paulista. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo qualitativo, de carter exploratrio, cujos dados primrios foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e os dados secundrios extrados da literatura acerca do comportamento do consumidor considerando-se os fatores influenciadores: cultura, tica e responsabilidade social, bem como, a economia informal. Participaram das entrevistas pessoas economicamente ativas com idade entre 25 e 44 anos, consumidoras de produtos oriundos do comrcio informal e residentes na Regio do Grande ABC Paulista. Com base nos resultados da pesquisa emprica possvel inferir que os consumidores efetuam compras no comrcio informal devido ao preo e acessibilidade ao ponto de venda. Trata-se de um consumo culturalmente estabelecido, devido disseminao do mesmo entre as redes sociais das quais os consumidores fazem parte. De maneira geral, os entrevistados mostram-se conscientes sobre os malefcios sociais, ambientais e ticos da economia informal, mas pouco os consideram no momento da compra.

Este estudo buscou investigar a existncia de aspectos de qualidade de vida no trabalho em uma cooperativa de catadores de materiais reciclveis e se a relao de qualidade de vida no trabalho e o reconhecimento social resultam e se fazem presentes na cooperativa de catadores, sendo esta evidenciada a partir da viso de seus cooperados. A questo que norteia este estudo : A qualidade de vida no trabalho em uma cooperativa contribui para a melhoria do reconhecimento social? Para responder a esta questo, os referenciais foram os estudos de Walton (1973) e Limongi-Frana (2010) que apresentaram categorias norteadoras para esta pesquisa delimitada a uma cooperativa de catadores do Grande ABC Paulista localizada no municpio de Mau. A metodologia utilizada neste estudo foi qualitativa, cujo instrumento deu-se por meio da aplicao de entrevistas com oito dos vinte e oito cooperados que fazem parte desta cooperativa de catadores. De acordo com a pesquisa realizada, constatou-se a importncia da participao destes trabalhadores em cooperativas, a preocupao com a sade e segurana no trabalho e o aumento da percepo de importncia do seu trabalho como cooperado.

This study seeks to identify how creative environments of musical groups are configured in the Strategy as Practice perspective as theoretical, empirical and conceptual models. It develops within the theoretical framework, discussions on the context of the Creative Economy, Creative Industries, creative environment, organizational paradigm of Creative Economy, music as a creative environment and business, design and dynamics of Strategy as Practice and conjecture about the contextualism and other epistemological currents. The study is shaped as an exploratory and descriptive research, utilizing the qualitative method and being characterized as a Grounded Theory. A total of four musical groups of different styles, markets and areas of operation with over ten years of activity were surveyed. The Grounded Theory and simple observation methods were used for both data collection and analysis. The software ATLAS.ti. was used to help with the analysis. The research shows that the bands perceive the specialized expertise in the virtual social media as a strategic differentiator. It also shows that the groups nourish individuation and the differentiation in their relationship with the individual. Finally, it validates that these organizations get teams involved and value the dynamic design of their routines in strategic decision making, paying attention to a strategic social bias. Strategy and Creative Practice is the main category that emerged from the data. This category is explained through the three aforementioned results. It shows that organizations that are part of the Creative Economy perform simultaneously and dynamically creative and strategic making at both artistic and managerial levels.The theory created is validated by the principles of degree of coherence, functionality, relevance, flexibility, density and integration, and it is inserted in the contextualism principle, which points the knowledge as related to the context in which it is placed and discussed.

The current study analyzes the birth and development of two strategic alliances established between shrimp producers in Rio Grande do Norte: the Unipesca and the Coopercam. To achieve this aim, two approaches which, at first sight, could be considered contradictory were used: the Transactional Costs Economy and Embeddedness. The first approach is fundamentally based in the studies of Williamson (1985; 1991; 1996; 1999; 2000; 2002). Embededness, on the other hand, went through the review of a series of authors, such as Burt (1992), Granovetter (1973; 1985), Uzzi (1997), Gulati (1994; 1995; 1997; 1998; 1999; 2000), Nielsen (2005), Ring (2002), Ring and Van de Ven (1994), Zafirovski (2002), among others. To analyze the birth and development of the cooperatives in this study, Gulati s work (1998) was used. This study shows the steps to be studied for a better comprehension of an alliance: the decision of starting an alliance and the choice of the partners, the decision about the governance structure, the evolution of the alliance and the development of the companies which established this partnership. To carry this study out, a study case accordingly to Yin s proposal (2001) was adopted. Semi-structured interviews with pre-defined plots were conducted in two phases: in the beginning of 2006 and in the beginning of 2007. The subjects from the research were, in 2006, representative members of the main associations and corporations, besides the shrimp producers from the state, when the context of the activity was set. In the second phase, in 2007, representative members from the two cooperatives that were listed above were interviewed the president from Coopercam and the marketing manager from Unipesca. Besides these two members, directors from two important organizations in each of these cooperatives were also interviewed, giving out the necessary information for the research. Secondary data was also collected from the Brazilian Association of Crab producers website, as well as from news from important newspapers in RN, such as Tribuna do Norte. The primary data was analyzed in terms of quality, accordingly to the documental analysis technique. Thus, through the data that was collected, it can be concluded that the reasons that motivated the companies to cooperate can be explained in terms of the transactional costs economy. However, the choice of partners is more connected to aspects approached by the social embededness. When aspects related to development and evolution were analyzed, it could be seen that both aspects from TCE and Embededness were vital to explain the development of the cooperatives mentioned

The Solidary Economy is an area that has shown unusual traits to what is preached in the traditional economic organizations, even organizations that have very similar principles, as some cooperatives. This trait is approaching the concept of isonomy proposed by Ramos (1989). Given this context, and the notion that the isonomy is like a ideal type, the objective this work was to evidence particulars of isonomic environment the in economic and solidarity experiences, taking as an empirical research area the Grupo de Mulheres Decididas a Vencer, considered a solidary economic enterprise. For this, we used the descriptive-exploratory research of qualitative nature, where the object of such research is the know enterprise, therefore, also characterized as a case study, which were taken as research subjects six associates, they being the most active in the enterprise. From the five categories that characterize isonomy - minimum standards prescribing, self-gratifying activity, activities undertaken as a vocation, wide system of making decision and primaries interpersonal relations - and from the traits of a solidary economic enterprise the data analysis was built, through content analysis, specifically the categorial analysis. Given this context and reality in which it is Grupo de Mulheres Decididas a Vencer, with minimal rules and procedures for conducting activities, comparing them to a therapy, women choosing to insert in that environment, faced with a democratic space and unfettered bureaucracy in professional interpersonal relationships, in others words, an organizational space where they were shown signs of substantive rationality was possible to conclude that the Group will share experiences and characteristics of isonomy. This disclosure meets the multidimensional social that presupposes Paraecomomic Paradigm, enabling man to enter in different social environments of the economy in order to search for self-actualization

This survey has to general objective to evaluate the Food Safety Policy implemented by Restaurantes Populares do Rio Grande do Norte. The survey is qualitative of type exploratory and descriptive. The universe of survey is all Units of Food and Nutrition (UAN) of the Restaurantes Populares do Rio Grande do Norte. To collects of data were used two instruments: interview and form. The interviews were intended to analyze the four axes of the Food Safety: access, food quality, production and marketing of food and organizational arrangement. The form was used to check the quality of nutrition and sanitary-hygienic food served. We used two types of forms: a spreadsheet with the weekly menu and the portions served to verify that the meals serve the nutritional needs proposed by the program; and the check-list of ANVISA to verify the sanitary-hygienic conditions in each unit. Through the survey data and analyses made observe that the access category have some problems such as lack of registration, lack of advertising of Restaurants and wastage of public resources, making policy that should be of included in a policy of exclusion. In the nutritional aspect there is neglect on the daily nutritional goal, because it is not accomplished nutritional analysis of menu offered, the nutritionists do not know what should be the nutritional value of meals served; in the hygienic-health aspect trough the problems identified is concludes that there is no guarantee of food quality hygienic-sanitary, committing the program as a Food Safety Program. About the production and marketing of food is observed some problems as: the goal of sale of meals is not achieved in full, the purchase of genres does not stimulate the local economy, nor generates jobs and income, and inefficient performance of the MEIOS's supervision. In the analysis of organizational arrangement is concluded that the partnerships are beneficial, despite some negative points, therefore, are these partnerships the problems of non-compliance, as both the MEIOS and Nutriti of important criteria established in the partnership. Therefore, it is understood that the Programa Restaurantes Populares in its original formulation is proposed to be a food safety policy, but has some problems that impossible to meet its goal, making it unprofitable like Food Safety Policy

Given the uncertainties of the environment in today's world, strategic planning is again discussed as an important tool to position the organization in future likely. To address this a more dynamic and less linear, trying to adapt the multiple realities, the method of scenarios can be one of the strategies to anticipate future designs. In the public sphere, an efficient implementation of human resources and financial managers require a new approach to the formulation of strategies. Tourism, in turn, presents itself as an important segment of the national economy shaped up as a major source of funds for the formation of the Gross Domestic Product - GDP - of states and municipalities. This study aims to know the guidelines and perspectives of municipal planning of tourism in the city of Natal/RN from the case by the representatives of the sector. The survey was developed based on a qualitative, exploratory, based on the case in the Secretaria Municipal de Turismo e Desenvolvimento Econmico - SETURDE. The results express that the body goes through a time of changes in its organizational structure and in defining its role with the local tourism. The national plan for tourism and the choice of Christmas as the host city for the World Cup in 2014 have stimulated interest in developing a formal strategic planning in the organization. However, when it comes to more complex tools, such as the method of future scenarios, the technical know its definition and importance for future actions. The results presented support the conclusion that the actions are designed intuitively and without complying with the scientific methods developed for this purpose, as the method of strategic scenarios. However, the evidence beginning to emerge from the plans and documents issued by the federal government, as well as the Secretary's own initiative, direct the actions of the body to coordinate and act as a fulcrum for local action to the increase in tourism

The present research deals with the modernization process of the Cidade da Parahyba2, between 1850 and 1924, and its relation with the cotton economy, which represented the main source of wealth accumulation for both the private and the public sectors throughout the First Republic. This study on urban history was developed by focusing on the understanding of the city s spatial formation, and despite its emphasis on the economic aspects involved, other factors that also contribute to the development of the social life were not put aside. The modernization process of the Cidade da Parahyba was also analyzed during the period established for the study according to a chronological and thematic approach that established comparisons with the financial situation of the State, whenever this was necessary, with special attention to the contribution of the cotton economy to the States revenues. It was possible to detect a lack of financial help and loans from the federal and municipal administrations for finishing several public works already underway in the capital, since the federal funds allocated to the State of Parahyba do Norte were rather employed in emergency works against droughts and in agricultural development. One can then conclude that the financial resources required for the urban interventions were withdrawn from the State s treasury itself, resources that were collected mainly from activities such as cotton exportation and cotton trading. Another factor shows the interdependence between the urban remodeling and the cotton economy: during the years marked by great droughts or by hard plagues on the cotton plantations, cotton production decreased, as well as the State s finances. The first measures taken by the State s administrators were to halt all projects of urban remodeling in progress in the Cidade da Parahyba, which was, clearly, the most privileged city by the State s presidents during the period analyzed. 2 The city of Joo Pessoa was named Cidade da Parahyba, a designation that remained until September 1930, when it received its present-day name in order to pay homage to the president of the State, Joo Pessoa Cavalcanti de Albuquerque, murdered in the city of Recife in August of that same year. At that time, the State of Paraba was known as Parahyba do Norte. Since this work is limited to a period of time comprised within the First Republic, the names employed respect the terms used in those days

It treats tourism as part of the places urban development dynamics and the touristic urbanization process as a strategy of cities international competitiveness strengthen, detaching institucional agents role as promoters of this process. It aims to understand how happens the interinstitucional cooperation existing between the agents (Estate, private initiative and third sector) that composes the Development Council of Plo Costa das Dunas/RN, littoral potiguar region, where are invested the resources deriving from the Program of Development of Tourism in the northeast of Brazil (PRODETUR/NE). Making use of economy referencials, urban sociology and urban geography, as a possibility of a more consistent theoretical construction, capable to accomplish the sustainable development and sustainable tourism concepts amplitude, this work brings out an experience of interinstitucional cooperation, where it glimpses itself the possibility of implementation of a alternative development model, based on the sustainability principles
