This monograph has as objective to study the human relations and the Public Relations in the contemporary time in witch the new technologies of the information got closer to the various existent cultures, but who make of the informative society of the global era, the expansion of the capital and of the culture of the more value. Man kind is backing away from the human relations, because the social interactions in the global world are done by objects such as the television, the internet and the telephone in witch cases the subjectivity and the human contact are traded for the informative quantity, because man kind doesn’t have anymore time to think, reflect and to exchange information. Man kind isolates itself and fills it’s subjective emptiness with the products offered by the neoliberal capitalism. The public relations in the organizations seek the human values created from a complex network of social interactions in all the heterogeneous of the organization. Through observation of production process of a Vale do Paraiba’s automobile industry, one can encounter in need of improvement related to large uncertainties and variations in the production environment, a fact that inspired the search for solutions that can respond quickly to these changes. This way, the paper describes the development of a flexible manufacturing model, which aims to optimize the process in an automotive sub-assembly industry of the Paraíba Valley. The main objective is to propose a method to promote viable alternatives to easing the assembly of parallel sub performed the assembly of cars. For the construction of the model was necessary to explore concepts of flexible manufacturing and making the data presented in literature, which were vital to ensure the development of the method. The concepts discussed are usually presented at an undergraduate degree in Engineering. Data compiled by the model are able to serve as a strategic benchmark for decision making by managers. Through observation of the production process industries today, one can encounter the needs of the large uncertainties related improvements and changes in the production environment, a fact that inspired the search for solutions that can respond quickly to these changes. Thus, this paper describes the review of implementation of TPM (total productivity management), which aims to optimize two distinct processes in the Vale do Paraíba´s pharmaceutical industry one of through the pillar of specific improvement. The main objective is to propose an efficient alternative to proposing loss management processes by identifying and eliminating the same in a systematic process. To develop this analysis was necessary to explore concepts of TPM and tools that help in taking data, identification and clarification of the phenomena that cause failures in the process, which were essential to ensure the development of the analysis. The final paper “Woman and power: perceptions of women leaders in organizations” is a study based on the perception of the female rise to leaderships positions. Through the history and social relations, this study aims to understand how this process happens in fact. This topic has been part of studies over the last 200 years and still is far away from being over. In order to enrich this paper, a historical investigation was conducted focusing on woman occupying public and private spaces. To improve this experience, Michel Foucault and his power theories were used to understand how this process happens. Complementing this study, Margarida Kunsch, the PR theoretician, investigated the power relations trough the organization environment, based on the influence caused by Organization Communication. To complement this study, 9 women in leadership positions shared their experience in leadership positions and the main characteristic of women in this position. Throughout the study, it was noticed that the social-historical interventions affect not only the professional life, but also, the personal life. Concluding this study, it was noticed that there is no recipe to be a woman in a leadership position, but, each interviewed constructed their own way, living the deconstructions process of the social accepted gender

The consumers' requirements are constantly growing, as well as the concern for the environment. Considering this change of scenario, industrial companies started paying more attention to environmental issues and decided to resort to solutions such as the adoption of the Environmental Management System based on the ISO 14001 model. It is believed that the adoption of this model changes the organizational image, both internally and externally. This possible change was the focus of this research, considering that many publics related to certified companies may have the wrong idea about what being a green company really means. The objective of this study is to verify, through a survey research, the relation between the Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001 with organizational image of Brazilian firms. At first, this paper presents a theoretical review on Environmental Management System, IS0 14001, Organizational image, green Marketing, Greenwashing and Public Relations. Next, the research method is presented, as well as the results obtained through theoretical study, the research application and data analysis, and a brief analysis of the Public Relations' role in the organizational environment at issue. El mango es una de las frutas tropicales cuya demanda mundial ha mostrado un crecimiento positivo y sostenido en el tiempo. El Perú ha logrado destacar como uno de los principales exportadores de mango fresco en el mundo, en este país la mayoría de empresas exportadoras tiene varios años en el mercado y comercializan el producto en verde enviándolo vía marítima. Ese no es el caso de Passion Fresh, que con pocos años en el mercado, ha logrado convertirse en uno de los principales exportadores de mango fresco, comercializándolo con el grado de madurez exacto para ser consumido. Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo es identificar las innovaciones organizacionales de Passion Fresh a fin de comprender su creciente inserción en mercado internacional. La metodología utilizada fue la epistemología fenomenológica a través de un estudio de caso; sustentada teóricamente en la nueva economía institucional, utilizando el análisis estructural discreto, se hizo énfasis en el ambiente organizacional, analizando las transacciones de la empresa con cada uno de los actores del subsistema y su respectiva alineación. El subsistema se desarrolla en un ambiente institucional que no tiene una política específica para el mango, pero que se ha visto soportado por políticas para productos agrícolas en general. Respecto al ambiente tecnológico las innovaciones solo llegan a aquellos que están agrupados en asociaciones. Y en el ambiente organizacional coexisten dos subsistemas, uno orientado al mercado local y otro al externo, ambos con gran presencia de intermediarios. Los resultados obtenidos muestran a Passion Fresh como un subsistema estrictamente coordinado, con un activo altamente específico, lo que hace que se diferencie de sus competidores, ya que tiene que comercializar el mango vía aérea para que llegue listo para el consumo. Todo esto lo define como el coordinador del subsistema, disminuyendo así los costos de transacción y convirtiéndose en una referencia del sector.

Este estudo trata da comunicação face a face nas organizações sob diferentes abordagens teóricas. Considera a perspectiva da simultaneidade dos meios, já que as empresas utilizam diversos canais para dialogar com seus públicos de interesse. Leva em conta o fenômeno da midiatização, que reestrutura o modo como as pessoas se relacionam na sociedade contemporânea. O objetivo geral da pesquisa é sistematizar papeis potencialmente exercidos pela interação face a face e conhecer algumas circunstâncias que envolvem sua prática nas organizações. Por se tratar de uma tese teórica, a pesquisa bibliográfica se apresenta como um dos principais procedimentos metodológicos; análises de casos empíricos e um estudo de caso desenvolvido na Embrapa Pantanal constituem situações ilustrativas. Conclui-se que a comunicação face a face nas empresas ocorre de forma simultânea e combinada a outros canais de comunicação, porém, ela proporciona resultados práticos e filosóficos ainda pouco explorados. É rara a utilização estratégica de contatos presenciais como mecanismo para estabelecer relacionamentos, conhecer as reações alheias e ajustar a comunicação, aliar o discurso corporativo às práticas empresariais e avaliar o contexto onde se desenvolvem as interações, o que pode ser decisivo para a comunicação organizacional.

A responsabilidade socioambiental tem fomentado novas relações no ambiente organizacional, para promover uma forma de desenvolvimento que ampare as dimensões econômica, ambiental e social, corroborando com os pressupostos estabelecidos pelo desenvolvimento sustentável. Assim, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo identificar as ações de gerenciamento ambiental na Pioneiros Bionergia S.A. O estudo de caso se deu por meio de observação sistemática, entrevista semiestruturada e análise documental. Os resultados apontam que a empresa se preocupa com a responsabilidade ambiental, investindo em inovações que reutilizem os resíduos para gerar novos processos de produção e, assim, contribuir com o meio ambiente. Além disso, a empresa seleciona os fornecedores que não problema com a legislação ambiental e trabalhista.

Muitas organizações enfrentam o desafio de assegurar a sobrevivência em mercados acirradamente competitivos e o desenvolvimento de competências individuais gerenciais passa a ser valorizado. O gerente está em evidência diante desse cenário, desempenhando papéis relevantes nos processos estratégicos e de desenvolvimento organizacional. O mapeamento de competências gerenciais constitui uma linha de pesquisa importante no campo da gestão de pessoas pelo fato dos diagnósticos não poderem ser transferidos automaticamente de um ambiente organizacional para outro. Este trabalho teve como objetivo desenvolver uma ferramenta para mapear as competências gerenciais e realizar o mapeamento em uma empresa do ramo editorial. Tomaram parte do estudo cinco gerentes do mesmo nível hierárquico. A realização do mapeamento conteve análises descritivas de auto e heteropercepção, bem como as diferenças entre as duas modalidades de avaliação. Destaca-se que o objetivo do estudo pôde ser concretizado, pois a aplicação da referida ferramenta permitiu identificar aspectos que necessitam investimentos em ações de capacitação gerencial. Cabe salientar que este trabalho pode contribuir com uma base inicial de conhecimento para a reflexão sobre o alinhamento estratégico da organização de acordo com comportamentos esperados correlacionados com cada uma das 12 competências gerenciais identificadas durante o estudo, bem como suportar novas análises e mapeamentos, oportunizando também a implantação adequada de ações de capacitação, com o objetivo de minimizar os riscos da falta de alinhamento estratégico de acordo com as responsabilidades a serem perseguidas pelos gerentes com a pretensão de melhorar os resultados da empresa pesquisada.

Nas décadas de 60 e 70, os olhares de muitos estudiosos se voltaram para os aspectos positivos da vida. Diversos autores ofereceram sustentação para fortalecer uma nova perspectiva de campo científico, a Psicologia Positiva. Tendo como base teórica o conhecimento de Psicologia Positiva e Psicologia da Saúde, pesquisas estão sendo desenvolvidas para investigar simultaneamente variáveis oriundas destes domínios. Um dos temas colocado sob analise são as emoções, investigadas em diferentes contextos e no ambiente organizacional. Importante salientar a existência de outras variáveis no contexto organizacional que têm sido investigadas à luz da Psicologia Positiva, tais como otimismo, percepções de suporte social no trabalho e percepções de suporte organizacional, algumas delas reunidas para compor modelos preditivos de bem-estar no trabalho (BET), construto multidimensional composto por dois vínculos afetivos positivos com o trabalho (satisfação no trabalho e envolvimento com o trabalho) e um com a organização (comprometimento organizacional afetivo). O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a capacidade de predição do balanço emocional (afetos positivos/negativos), do otimismo e de percepções de suporte (social no trabalho e organizacional) sobre as três dimensões de BET. Participaram do estudo 110 agentes comunitários de saúde (ACS), prestadores de serviço de uma prefeitura municipal paulista, com idade média de 38,84 anos, sendo o grupo constituído, em sua maioria, por mulheres e por pessoas casadas. Para a coleta de dados, foi aplicado um questionário contendo sete escalas autoaplicáveis que aferiram as variáveis do estudo. A análise dos dados, todos de natureza numérica, foi desenvolvida utilizando-se subprogramas do SPSS, versão 17.0 para Windows, para cálculos de estatísticas descritivas (médias, desvios padrão e correlações) e estatísticas multivariadas (análises de regressão linear múltipla stepwise). Os resultados do estudo, no que concerne ao seu objetivo principal, que consistiu em submeter a análise um modelo preditivo para BET, demonstraram que os níveis das três dimensões de BET poderiam variar sob o impacto de três preditores: percepção de suporte organizacional, afetos positivos e percepção de suporte instrumental. Como análise geral dos três modelos de regressão calculados, seria possível afirmar que o estado geral de bem-estar dos ACS no contexto de trabalho pode ser fortalecido ou enfraquecido pela atuação de fatores cognitivos que se desenvolvem a partir de percepções da dinâmica social presente no ambiente de trabalho (percepções de suporte social e organizacional) e de um fator de cunho estritamente pessoal contido na estrutura emocional do indivíduo sob a forma de experiências afetivas e aqui referidas com afetos positivos.(AU)

The information constitutes one of the most valuable strategic assets for the organization. However, the organizational environment in which it is inserted is very complex and heterogeneous, making emerging issues relevant to the Governance of information technology (IT) and Information Security. Academic Studies and market surveys indicate that the origin of most accidents with the information assets is the behavior of people organization itself rather than external attacks. Taking as a basis the promotion of a culture of safety among users and ensuring the protection of information in their properties of confidentiality, integrity and availability, organizations must establish its Information Security Policy (PSI). This policy is to formalise the guidelines in relation to the security of corporate information resources, in order to avoid that the asset vulnerabilities are exploited by threats and can bring negative consequences to the business. But, for the PSI being effective, it is required that the user have readiness to accept and follow the procedures and safety standards. In the light of this context, the present study aims to investigate what are the motivators extrinsic and intrinsic that affect the willingness of the user to be in accordance with the organization's security policies. The theoretical framework addresses issues related to IT Governance, Information Security, Theory of deterrence, Motivation and Behavior Pro-social. It was created a theoretical model based on the studies of Herath and Rao (2009) and D'Arcy, Hovav and Galletta (2009) that are based on General Deterrence Theory and propose the following influencing factors in compliance with the Policy: Severity of Punishment, Certainty of Detection, Peer Behaviour, Normative Beliefs, Perceived Effectiveness and Moral Commitment. The research used a quantitative approach, descriptive. The data were collected through a questionnaire with 18 variables with a Likert scale of five points representing the influencing factors proposed by the theory. The sample was composed of 391 students entering the courses from the Center for Applied Social Sciences of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. For the data analysis, were adopted the techniques of Exploratory Factor Analysis, Analysis of Cluster hierarchical and nonhierarchical, Logistic Regression and Multiple Linear Regression. As main results, it is noteworthy that the factor severity of punishment is what contributes the most to the theoretical model and also influences the division of the sample between users more predisposed and less prone. As practical implication, the research model applied allows organizations to provide users less prone and, with them, to carry out actions of awareness and training directed and write Security Policies more effective.

This thesis aimed to evaluate the implementation of the Food Acquisition Program(PAA) through CONAB RN in the period of 2003-2010 with the perception of all agents involved in the implementation of the government program.For the methodological trajectory it was adopted a descriptive bibliographical and documentary approach with triangular qualitative and quantitative, also called evaluative research.The theoretical model was supported by the authors Draibe (2001), Aguilar and Ander-Egg (1994) and Silva(2001), among others, that focused on family farming and evaluation of implementation of public policy having as a category of analysis the size implementation of policy and the latter divided into 10 theoretical dimensions.The universe consisted of three groups: the first were the managers and technicians from CONAB(RN and Brasilia), totaling 15 subjects. The second group was of associations/cooperatives that participated in the programin 2010, totaling a sample in each access of 15 representatives. The third group of subjects totaled with 309 representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations that received donations of food for the same period. Semi-structured interviews and forms were adopted as instruments of data collection.The data were processed qualitatively by the analysis of content (interviews and documents) and quantitatively by means of statistical tests that allowed inferences and adoption of frequencies. Among the key find ingests that the program is not standing as a structure supported by planning. The interests of the performers do not necessarily converge with the objectives of the Food Acquisition Program (PAA). A shockof goals was identified (within the same program) when comparingthe financial agent (Ministry of Rural Development and of Social Development and Fight Against Hunger Ministry r) and the executor, CONAB/RN. Within the assessed dimensions, the most fragileis the sub-managerial decision-making and Organizational Environment and internal assessment, still deserves attention the sizeof logistical and operational Subsystem, as this also proved weak.The focusin the quest toexpand thequantificationof the resultsof theFood Acquisition Program (PAA)by CONAB/RN does forget a quality management focused on what really should be:the compliance with the institutional objectives of the government program.Finally, the perspective for the traded implementation should be re-examined because excessive discretion by managers along with technical staff has characterized there al role of the Food Acquisition Program (PAA) as public policy. We conclude that the implementation model, which apparently aggregates values to the benefitted citizens, has weakened the context of work on family farms having the management model of the implementation process be reviewed by the Federal Government and point too ther paths, which have as a guide line the emancipation and developmentof the field or in the field andat the same time enables the reduction of nutritional deficiency of beneficiaries in a balanced and coherent way

The globalization of markets has confirmed for the processes of change in organizations both in structure and in management. This dynamic was also observed in credit unions because they are financial institutions and are under the rules of the Brazil´s Financial System. Given the context of organizational changes in the financial capital has played the traditional management reform is urgent. In organizations credit unions, given its dual purpose, because in the same organizational environment and capitalism coexist cooperative whose logics are antagonistic, but can live through the balance between instrumental rationality and substantive rationality in credit unions. Based on this concept a new form of management should be thought to be able to accommodate the demand of cooperative, community, government and the market. Hybridization has been observed in management practices` COOPERUFPA into dimensions financial, social and solidarity participation with a trend in paradigmatic form of hybrid management, in that it directly or indirectly affect the management decisions in the credit union. The hybrid management is a trend that has been setting the basis for societal transformation, so that credit unions promote actions of welfare oriented cooperative members and the community around the same time that attend the dynamics of market globalization. These actions, in the context of hybrid management should be implemented by COOPERUFPA from the sociability of the remains and the wide diffusion of solidarity culture between cooperative partnership as a way to recover their participation in trade relations, financial and the social collective developement. For the members of COOPERUFPA financial interest is evidenced in greater relevance for the social interest given its dominant relationship as "mere customer" of the credit union, however, the proactive participation of the life of the cooperative credit union is one of its expectative among of participation of to share power in decisions by general meetings. This passivity`s cooperator of the COOPERUFPA in defending the ideals overshadowed the spread of cooperative principles and values of cooperation among them. Thus his conception for COOPERUFPA in the financial dimension, social and solidarity democracy, performed transversely. The COOPERUFPA for not developing an education policy for the cooperation among its members, contributed to a process of collective alienation of cooperative ideals, since the cooperative do not understand the reality that surrounds them as members of an organization whose mission is to social and financial sustainability of its members
