雌核发育银鲫四种孵化酶基因全长cDNA的克隆及其特征分析

用抑制性差减杂交结合SMARTcDNA合成和RACE PCR技术 ,克隆得到雌核发育银鲫 (Carassiusauratusgibelio) 4种孵化酶基因的全长cDNA。 4种孵化酶基因分别被命名为GHE1、GHE2、GHE3、GHE4。序列分析表明 ,4种孵化酶基因cDNA的开放阅读框均为 795bp ,都编码 2 6 5个氨基酸。它们推断的编码氨基酸序列同源性在 79 6～95 1 %之间。种系分析表明 ,GHE1、GHE2、GHE3、GHE4的进化地位位于日本鳗鲡(Anguillajaponica

Study on freshwater genus Peridinium (Dinophyta) from China

Peridinium is an important genus of freshwater armoured dinoflagellates with two more intercalary plates (sensu Bourrelly). A few species of Peridinium were known from China heretofore. The plate pattern is one of the important criteria for the taxonomy of Peridinium, and it was difficult to visualize their plate patterns under normal light microscope. For editing of Flora Algarum Sinicarum Aquae Dulcis, 11 species of Peridinium collected from various freshwater habitats of China are described. Among them, 6 species are first reported from China. They are P. gatunense Nygaard, P. gutwinskii Woloszynska, P. lomnickii Woloszynska, P. palatinum Lauterborn, P. striolatum Playfair, and P. zonatum Playfair. Epifluorescence microscopy and scanning electron microscopy, and also light microscopy were employed for their structure and patterns of thecal plates.

Isolation and characterization of polymorphic microsatellite loci in Wuchang bream (Megalobrama amblycephala)

Wuchang bream (Megalobrama amblycephala) is an economically important fish in China. From a (GT)(13)-enriched genomic library, 20 microsatellites were developed. Nine of these 20 loci were polymorphic in a test population with allele numbers ranging from two to four, and the observed and expected heterozygosities ranging from 0.2609 to 0.7826 and from 0.3739 to 0.7546, respectively. In the cross-species amplifications, six of these nine loci were also polymorphic in white amur bream (Parabramis pekinensis). These polymorphic microsatellite loci are potentially useful for population genetics of Wuchang bream and its closely related species.

Identification of a Spindlin homolog in gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio)

Spindlin has been suggested to play an important role during the transition from oocyte maturation to embryo development in mouse, but its homolog similar to the mouse Spindlin in molecular and expression characterization has not been identified up to now in other vertebrates. In this study, a full length of cDNA sequence is cloned and sequenced from the gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio). It contains 1240 nucleotides with an open reading frame of 771 nt encoding 257 amino acids. Based on its amino acid sequence alignment and comparison analysis with the known Spin family proteins, the newly cloned Spin is named Carassius auratus gibelio Spindlin (CagSpin). Its product could be detected from mature eggs to blastula embryos, but its content decreased from the two-cell stage, and could not be detected after the gastrula stage. It suggests that the CagSpin should be a maternal protein that is expressed during oocyte maturation, and plays a crucial role in early cleavage of embryogenesis. CagSpin is the first homolog similar to mouse spindlin identified in fish, and also in other vertebrates. GST pull-down assay reveals the first biochemical evidence for the association of CagSpin and p-tubulin, the microtubule component. Therefore, CagSpin may play important functions by interacting with beta-tubulin and other spindle proteins during oocyte maturation and egg fertilization. (c) 2005 Elsevier Inc. Toxicity of cypermethrin to Daphnia magna HB

The acute toxic effect of the pesticide cypermethrin to Daphnia magna HB was examined. D. magna HB was exposed to cypermethrin at concentrations of 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 mg/L for 24 In. Data showed that the 24 h-LC50 of cypermthrin on D. magna HB was 4.81 mg/L. In contrast, the 24 h-LC50 of K2Cr2O7 (the national standard toxicant) to Daphnia magna was 0.38 mg/L in the current study. Results indicated that the Daphnia magna was very sensitive to pesticides. In addition, the effects of the culture condition(such as hardness, temperature and DO etc.) on Daphnia magna HB was also studied.

Effects of doubled atmospheric CO2 concentration on the photosynthesis and growth of Chlorella pyrenoidosa cultured at varied levels of light

Chlorella pyrenoidosa was cultured with 350 and 700 p.p.m.v. CO2 at varied levels of light to see the impacts of doubled atmospheric CO2 concentration on its growth and photosynthesis. The CO2 enrichment did not affect the growth rate (mu), but significantly increased the cell density when light was sufficiently supplied. The CO2 enrichment significantly depressed light-saturated photosynthesis and dark respiration in the cells grown under a high-light regime, but not those under a low-light regime. The light-saturating point for photosynthesis and photosynthetic efficiency was not affected by the CO2 enrichment under either the high-light or low-light conditions.

Photosynthetic bicarbonate utilization by a terrestrial cyanobacterium, Nostoc flagelliforme (Cyanophyceae)

The photosynthetic characteristics of the terrestrial cyanobacterium, Nostoc flagelliforme, after complete recovery by rewetting, was investigated to see whether it could use bicarbonate as the external inorganic carbon source when submerged. The photosynthesis-pH relationship and high pH compensation point suggested that the terrestrial alga could use bicarbonate to photosynthesize when submerged. The photosynthetic oxygen evolution rates were significantly inhibited in Na+-free and Na+ + Li+ media but were not affected by the absence of Cl-, implying that the bicarbonate uptake was associated with Na+/HCO3- symport rather than Cl-/HCO3- exchange system.

High performance of 1.55 mu m DFB integrated with vertically tapered self-aligned spot-size converter

A new type of self-aligned spotsize converter (SSC) integrated 1.55 mum DFB lasers had been proposed in this article. The upper optical confinement layer and the butt-coupled tapered thickness waveguide were regrown simultaneously, which not only offered the separate optimization of the active region and the integrated SSC, but also reduced the difficulty of the butt-joint selective regrowth. The vertical and horizontal far field angles were 9degrees and 12degrees respectively, the 1- dB misalignment tolerance were both 3.6 and 3.4 mum. The directed coupling efficiency to tapered single mode fiber was 48%.

分组密码工作模式的研究现状

分组密码工作模式是利用分组密码解决实际问题的密码方案．好的工作模式可以弥补分组密码的某些缺憾；相反，不好的工作模式可能带来安全隐患．工作模式的研究始终伴随着分组密码的研究历史，新的分组密码标准的推出，都会伴随着相应工作模式的研究．从针对DES的ECB、CBC、CFB和OFB，到针对AES的CTR、CCM、CMAC、GCM和AESKW，作者以各种模式标准为主线，介绍分组密码工作模式的设计理念、安全模型、二十多年的研究成果以及发展现状．

对一个基于细胞自动机的分组密码变形的分析

Subhayan Sen等人提出了一个基于细胞自动机的分组密码系统(cellular automata based cryptosystem,简称CAC),但并没有给出CAC的某些构造模块的细节描述,从应用角度考虑,将其中的一个模块固定得到CAC的变形--SMCAC(samemajor-CACAC).对SMCAC进行密码分析,结果表明,CAC的这种变形在选择明文攻击下是极不安全的.对SMCAC进行分析的意义在于,知道CAC的具体设计细节以后,借鉴对SMCAC的分析,有可能对CAC密码系统本身的安全性造成威胁.
