Melhoria da Atenção aos usuários com hipertensão e diabetes na UBS de Cruzaltense, Cruzaltense / RS. 75f. – Trabalho de conclusão de curso Programa de Pós-Graduação em Saúde de Família - Modalidade à Distância. Universidade Federal de Pelotas, Pelotas, 2015. O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso caracteriza-se como a apresentação de uma intervenção típica em Atenção Primária à Saúde na UBS Cruzaltense RS, Brasil. O trabalho foi desenvolvido em doze semanas, entre os meses de janeiro e maio do ano de 2015. O objetivo principal foi melhorar a atenção dos hipertensos e/ou diabéticos, sobre orientações das proposições do Ministério da Saúde, apoiados nos Protocolos do Ministério da Saúde sobre HAS e DM 2013 e por meio do curso de especialização em Saúde da Família da Universidade Federal de Pelotas dentro dos eixos temáticos de qualificação da prática clínica, engajamento público, monitoramento e avaliação e organização da gestão do serviço. Esta intervenção emergiu no momento em que o Serviço tem registros de monitoramento e nem toda a população-alvo tem prontuários e a maioria dos dados especialmente os resultados dos exames foram coletado nas visitas domiciliarias com validade de um ano. Este é o contexto pré-intervenção. No indicador de cobertura do programa de atenção ao hipertenso na unidade de saúde obteve-se no mês 1 da intervenção 25.0% (89), no mês 2 34.3% (122), no mês 3 42.4% (151) e no mês 4 53.3% (197). No indicador de cobertura do programa de atenção ao diabético no mês 1 desenvolveu-se 36.8% (25), no mês 2 51.5% (35), no mês 3 55.9% (38) e no mês 4 70.6 (48). Nas comunidades foram feitas atividades de promoção da saúde relacionadas com as doenças crônicas não transmissíveis, como a HAS e DM. Os resultados mostraram que os usuários foram educados no conhecimento dessas doenças. Com este trabalho tentamos educar a população deste município em como conseguir ter uma qualidade de vida ótima sendo doente, a maioria deles não tinham cultura das consequências letais do sal e gorduras, tentamos incorporar na rotina diária a pratica de atividade física continua ao final percebemos uma melhoria significativa, tanto no nível de conhecimento, como aplicação adequada na adoção de estilos de vida saudáveis, cumprimento regular e estável dos tratamentos prescritos, com consequente melhoria da qualidade de vida e uma ótima preparação para evitar os riscos e as complicações destas doenças.

The objective of the present study was to estimate (co)variance components for length of productive life (LPL) and some alternative reproductive traits of 6-year-old Nellore cattle. The data set contained 57,410 records for age at first calving from Nellore females and was edited to remove animal records with uncertain paternity and cows with just one piece of calving information. Only animals with age at first calving ranging from 23 to 48 months and calving intervals between 11 and 24 months were kept for analysis. LPL and life production ( LP) were used to describe productive life. LPL was defined as the number of months a cow was kept in the herd until she was 6 years old, given that she was alive at first calving and LP was defined as total number of calves in that time. Four traits were used to describe reproductive traits: two breeding efficiencies on original scale were estimated using Wilcox and Tomar functions (BEW and BET, respectively), and two breeding efficiencies transformed (ASBEW and ASBET, respectively), using the function [arcsine (square root (BEi/100))]. Estimates of heritability for measures of LPL and LP were low and ranged from 0.04 to 0.05. Estimates of heritability for breeding efficiencies on original and transformed scales oscillated from 0.18 to 0.32. Estimates of genetic correlations ranged from -0.57 to 0.79 for LPL and other traits and from 0.28 to 0.63 for LP and other traits.

This investigation was designed to examine the antinociceptive activity in rats of 3-O-acyl prodrugs of M6S relative to the parent drug, after intravenous and intramuscular injection, using the tail flick latency test of antinociception. M6S, 3-acetylmorphine-6-sulfate (3AcM6S), 3-propionylmorphine-6-sulfate (3PrM6S), 3-butanoylmorphine-6-sulfate (3BuM6S) and 3-heptanoylmorphine-6-sulfate (3HpM6S) were administered by the IV route in a dose of 4.10 mu mol/kg. Relatively high levels of antinociception (>40% Maximum Possible Effect) were achieved following administration of M6S, 3AcM6S and 3PrM6S, whereas insignificant antinociception (<20%MPE) was achieved following administration of 3BuM6S or 3HpM6S. Although the mean duration of action for 3AcM6S (6 h) was longer than for M6S or 3PrM6S (4 h), the mean area (+/- S.E.M.) under the degree of antinociception versus time curve (AUG) for 3AcM6S (151.6 +/- 6.9%MPE h) was not significantly different (p <0.05) from that for M6S (120.8 +/- 32.7%MPE h) or for 3PrM6S (106.0 +/- 21.3%MPE h). The mean ED50 (range) doses for M6S, 3AcM6S and 3PrM6S were calculated to be 4.16 (3.61-4.48), 4.32 (3.55-5.09) and 4.54 (4.21-4.79) mu mol/kg, respectively. Preliminary studies were conducted on potential long-acting formulations containing 8 x ED50 doses of M6S and the 3-acetyl and 3-propionyl esters suspended in soybean oil. These showed that 3PrM6S gave a greater AUC (mean + S.E.M.) (1087.4 +/- 97.4%MPE h) and longer duration of action (20 h) than did M6S (613.1 +/- 155.9%MPE h; 10 h duration) or 3AcM6S (379.3 + 114.2%MPE h: 8 h duration). Two synthetic analogues of murine epidermal. growth factor, [Abu6, 20] mEGF4-48 (where Abu denotes amino-butyric acid) and [G1, M3, K21, H40] mEGF1-48, have been investigated by NMR spectroscopy. [Abu6, 20] mEGF4-48 was designed to determine the contribution of the 6-20 disulfide bridge to the structure and function of mEGF The overall structure of this analogue was similar to that of native mEGF, indicating that the loss of the 6-20 disulfide bridge did not affect the global fold of the molecule. Significant structural differences were observed near the N-terminus, however, with the direction of the polypeptide chain between residues four and nine being altered such that these residues were now located on the opposite face of the main beta-sheet from their position in native mEGF Thermal denaturation experiments also showed that the structure of [Abu6, 20] mEGF4-48 was less stable than that of mEGF. Removal of this disulfide bridge resulted in a significant loss of both mitogenic activity in Balb/c 3T3 cells and receptor binding on A431 cells compared with native mEGF and mEGF4-48, implying that the structural changes in [Abu6, 20] mEGF4-48, although limited to the N-terminus, were sufficient to interfere with receptor binding. The loss of binding affinity probably arose mainly from steric interactions of the dislocated N-terminal region with part of the receptor binding surface of EGF [G1, M3, K21, H40] mEGF1-48 was also synthesized in order to compare the synthetic polypeptide with the corresponding product of recombinant expression. Its mitogenic activity in Balb/c 3T3 cells was similar to that of native mEGF and analysis of its H-1 chemical shifts suggested that its structure was also very similar to native.

Chromosome number reflects strong constraints on karyotype evolution, unescaped by the majority of animal taxa. Although there is commonly chromosomal polymorphism among closely related taxa, very large differences in chromosome number are rare. This study reports one of the most extensive chromosomal ranges yet reported for an animal genus. Apiomorpha Rubsaamen (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Eriococcidae), an endemic Australian gall-inducing scale insect genus, exhibits an extraordinary 48-fold variation in chromosome number with diploid numbers ranging from 4 to about 192. Diploid complements of all other eriococcids examined to date range only from 6 to 28. Closely related species of Apiomorpha usually have very different karyotypes, to the extent that the variation within some species- groups is as great as that across the entire genus. There is extensive chromosomal variation among populations within 17 of the morphologically defined species of Apiomorpha indicating the existence of cryptic species-complexes. The extent and pattern of karyotypic variation suggests rapid chromosomal evolution via fissions and (or) fusions. It is hypothesized that chromosomal rearrangements in Apiomorpha species may be associated with these insects' tracking the radiation of their speciose host genus, Eucalyptus.
