在JP10和煤油点火特性激波管实验的基础上,实验研究了硅烷对这两种典型高碳数碳氢燃料点火特性的影响.在预加热到70℃的激波管上,采用缝合运行条件获得了近7ms的实验时间,将实验延伸至低温区.采用气相色谱分析和高精度真空仪直接测定压力相结合的方法,确定了燃料气相浓度,解决了高碳数碳氢燃料点火激波管实验时由于管壁吸附影响燃料气相浓度确定的困难.实验记录了点火过程中OH自由基发射强度变化,并作为判断点火发生的标志.实验温度范围880~1 800K,压力范围0.16~0.53MPa.当硅烷加入量约为燃料的10%~15%(摩尔比),质量比为2%~3%,观测到明显的点火促进作用.该研究对超燃研究中发动机设计、燃料选择等方面具有直接的工程意义,也可用于检验燃烧化学动力学模型的合理性.

[ES] El objetivo del trabajo es la construcción de diferentes carteras compuestas por activos numismáticos de oro y metales nobles (oro, plata, platino, paladio y rodio); con el fin de construir aquella cartera que mejor se adapte al inversor, acorde a su perfil y conocer cuál es la Cartera del Mercado. Para ello, mediante la Teoría de Carteras (Markowitz, 1952; 1959), construiremos la Frontera Eficiente y trazaremos la Línea del Mercado de Capitales o CML.

在超声速燃烧室中分别采用气泡雾化煤油与纯煤油射流进行实验,研究不同情况对燃料的雾化和贯穿深度的影响.实验选用纹影法记录实验段图像,拍摄了不同注射压强条件下燃料有无气泡雾化的流场照片,对时间平均流场和瞬态流场分别进行记录.实验结果表明:气泡雾化的确明显地提高了液体燃料的雾化程度,但对贯穿深度没有显著的影响,提高贯穿深度的有效方法是增加射流压强.

利用直接照相和纹影显示研究了不同预热温度的煤油喷注到静态大气和马赫数2.5的横向气流时射流结构.煤油加热系统可将0.8kg煤油加热到670K和5.5MPa压力.比较4MPa压力下290K~550K不同温度的煤油射流结构可以发现,550K煤油射流一旦流出立即完全气化,并且保持贯穿深度基本不变.结果表明:喷注汽化燃料有可能改善液体碳氢燃料超声速燃烧室的性能,因为至少省却了雾化和气化过程.

A side-wall compression scramjet model with different combustor geometries has been tested in a propulsion tunnel that typically provides the testing flow with Mach number of 5.8, total temperature of 1800K, total pressure of 4.5MPa and mass flow rate of 4kg/s. This kerosene-fueled scramjet model consists of a side-wall compression inlet, a combustor and a thrust nozzle. A strut was used to increase the contraction ratio and to inject fuels, as well as a mixing enhancement device. Several wall cavities were also employed for flame-holding. In order to shorten the ignition delay time of the kerosene fuel, a little amount of hydrogen was used as a pilot flame. The pressure along the combustor has an evident raise after ignition occurred. Consequently thrust was observed during the fuel-on period. However, the thrust was still less than the drag of the scramjet model. For this reason, the drag variation produced by different strut and cavities was tested. Typical results showed that the cavities do not influence the drag so much, but the length of the strut does.

Numerical simulation was conducted to characterize the kerosene spray injecting into supersonic cross flow, especially focusing on the aerodynamic secondary breakup effect of the supersonic cross flow on the initial droplets. It was revealed that the initial parent drops were broken up into small drops whose diameter is about O(10) micrometers soon after they entered into the supersonic cross flow. During the appropriate range of initial drop size, the parent droplets would be broken up into small drops with the same magnitude diameter no matter how large the initial drops SMD was.

Two different type scramjet models with side-wall compression and top-wall compression inlets have been tested in HPTF (Hypersonic Propulsion Test Facility) under the experimental conditions of Mach number 5.8, total temperature 1700K, total pressure 4.5MPa and mass flow rate 3.5kg/s. The liquid kerosene was used as main fuel for the scramjets. In order to get fast ignition in the combustor, a small amount of hydrogen was used as a pilot. A strut with alternative tail was employed for increasing the compression ratio and for mixing enhancement in the side-wall compression case. Recessed cavities were used as a flameholder for combustion stability. The combustion efficiency was estimated by one dimensional theory. The uniformity of the facility nozzle flow was verified by a scanning pitot rake. The experimental results showed that the kerosene fuel was successfully ignited and stable combustion was achieved for both scramjet models. However the thrusts were still less than the model drags due to the low combustion efficiencies.

本课题进行了“煤油一氢”双燃料超音速燃烧的实验研究,采用一维近似计算程序对实验数据进行处理,对此一维程序所用模型也作了说明。实验采用“煤油一氢”双燃料超音速燃烧方案,即利用少量的氢与来流空气自然形成引导火焰与煤油进行混合燃烧。实验是在超单速燃烧实验台上进行的,实验空气总温1800K左右、总压17atm左右,燃烧室进口M为2.5,可以模拟飞行M数为7的超燃冲压发动机中的燃烧工况。在没有附加点火的情况下,能实现煤油一氢双燃料自点火并维持稳定燃烧的条件包括:氢的最小当量比、燃料的喷注方式与燃烧室几何形状等。因此,本实验进行了四方面的研究内容:(1)氢气当量比对点火极限的影响;(2)煤油驱动气压力对点火极限的影响;(3)不同凹槽形火焰稳定器对燃烧的影响,包括改变凹槽形状和改变喷油孔的位置;(4)实验空气总温对燃烧的影响。用一维超音速燃烧程序对实验数据进行了处理,实验结果表明,通过合理地控制氢气当量比、煤油当量比,在一定的总温总压条件下,利用合适的火焰稳定器,采用煤油一氢双燃料超音速燃烧方案实施煤油的超单速燃烧是可行的,其中凹槽形火焰稳定器对点火与燃烧有重要的作用。本实验研究表明,氢气当量比的最低极限为0.09左右,来流总温最低生在1710K时煤油仍能点燃。实验结果说明,煤油一氢双燃料超音速燃料超烯冲压发动机来说,煤油一氢双燃料超音速燃烧的氢量可以控制在较低的范围,并且来流温度要求不是很高,因此对于碳氢燃料超燃冲压发动机来说,煤油一氢双燃料超音速燃烧方案具有较为实用的价值。

The purpose of this work was to develop a means of increasing the thrust of a turbojet engine by burning kerosene in the tail pipe.

A combustion system was developed which gave the following results:
(l) Maximum thrust increase using a G.E. I-14 engine was 64 per cent over straight tail pipe thrust corresponding to 42 per cent increase over the normal engine thrust. This increase was accomplished at an engine rpm of 12,000.
(2) Increase of maximum thrust obtained was 51 per cent over the straight tail pipe thrust corresponding to 23 per cent over the normal engine thrust. This increase was accomplished at an engine rpm of l6,000.
(3) For the thrust increases mentioned in (1) and (2) above, increases of Specific Fuel Consumption were 66 per cent and 76 per cent respectively over normal engine SFC.

El objetivo general de este trabajo es avanzar en la optimización de catalizadores de platino para el hidrocraqueo de poliestireno en fase líquida en una sola etapa, hacia la obtención de combustibles líquidos, dentro de las diferentes alternativas para la valorización de residuos plásticos. Mediante este proceso, se pretende minimizar la cantidad de residuos plásticos que se destinan a vertedero, en el marco de la Directiva 2008/98/CE, como solución efectiva y eco-eficiente a su inevitable generación. En estudios previos, se ha determinado que catalizadores de platino soportados sobre zeolita HBeta resultaban adecuados para esta aplicación. Por otro lado, un profundo estudio de las distintas etapas de transferencia de materia, combinando resultados experimentales con correlaciones empíricas, ha permitido definir condiciones experimentales en las que se puede trabajar en régimen cinético, lo que resulta fundamental para trabajar en el diseño de catalizadores. Partiendo de estos resultados, los objetivos específicos del trabajo se han enfocado en:  Minimizar la cantidad de platino a emplear en un catalizador de Pt/HBeta para esta aplicación, teniendo en cuenta que se trata de un metal noble y que, por lo tanto, encarece el precio de los catalizadores de forma muy importante. Se trata, en este caso, de mantener adecuados niveles de actividad y, sobre todo, selectividad hacia los productos deseados. La selectividad, desde el punto de vista del platino, se relaciona principalmente, para el caso del poliestireno, con la presencia de productos de hidrogenación del monómero.  Optimizar el método de incorporación del platino al catalizador. El planteamiento, en este caso, es que, dado el elevado tamaño de las moléculas de polímero, la reacción de hidrocraqueo tendrá lugar, casi exclusivamente, sobre la superficie externa del catalizador, y la hidrogenación del monómero puede alcanzar una capa algo más profunda. En cualquier caso, parece evidente que el platino depositado en las capas más profundas del catalizador permanecerá desaprovechado, y sería interesante obtener una distribución de tipo “egg-shell”.

O petróleo é uma mistura complexa consistindo em um número muito grande de hidrocarbonetos. A descrição completa de todos os hidrocarbonetos existentes nessas misturas é inviável experimentalmente ou consome tempo excessivo em simulações computacionais. Por esta razão, uma abordagem molecular completa para cálculos de propriedades dessas misturas é substituído por uma abordagem pseudo-componente ou por correlações entre propriedades macroscópicas. Algumas dessas propriedades são utilizadas de acordo com a regulamentação de venda de combustíveis, e.g., para gasolina. Dependendo do esquema de refino e do óleo cru utilizado para produção desse combustível, uma larga variedade de valores é encontrada para as propriedades de correntes de processo que compõe o combustível final. A fim de planejar com precisão adequada a mistura dessas correntes, modelos devem estar disponíveis para o cálculo preciso das propriedades necessárias. Neste trabalho, oito séries de combustíveis brasileiros e duas séries de combustíveis estrangeiros foram analisadas: frações de gasolina, querosene, gasóleo e diesel. As propriedades analisadas para as frações são: número de octano, teor de aromáticos, teor de enxofre, índice de refração, densidade, ponto de fulgor, ponto de fluidez, ponto de congelamento, ponto de névoa, ponto de anilina, pressão de vapor Reid e número de cetano. Diversas correlações foram avaliadas e os melhores desempenhos foram destacados, permitindo uma estimação precisa das propriedades do combustível avaliado. Um processo de re-estimação de parâmetros foi aplicado e novos modelos foram ajustados em comparação com os dados experimentais. Esta estratégia permitiu uma estimativa mais exata das propriedades analisadas, sendo verificada por um aumento considerável no desempenho estatístico dos modelos. Além disso, foi apresentado o melhor modelo para cada propriedade e cada série

Ninety (90) hatchery bred fingerlings of Clarias gariepinus (mean weight: 0.96 ± 0.1g) were randomly placed in 15 plastic baths (25 litres each) at the Research laboratory and were exposed to different concentrations of oil products to determine their effects on the fish, to facilitate inferential deductions that will enhance effective aquatic environmental management. Three (3) replicate basins of 5 experimental treatments (crude oil, petrol oil, kerosene oil, engine oil and control) were used at a concentration of 1.25ml. L-1. The control experiment was devoid of oil treatment. Six (6) fingerlings were placed in each replicate basin, flooded with 20 litres of clean tap water and fed with nutrafin cichilid food, 2 times daily at 3% body weight. The results showed that the feeding behaviour and swimming performances of fish were reduced after 24 hours of the addition of the various oil pollutants. Mortality of fingerlings in the oiled basins increased as the hours of exposure increased (i.e. 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours). Recovery was not immediate in the treated basin while surviving fingerlings in the control basins grew up to post-fingerlings after 90 days (3 months). There were significant differences (P<0.01 and P<0.05) in the effect of crude oil and the petroleum products on the mortality rate of C. gariepinus when exposed to oil pollutants at 1.25ml. L-1 concentration

Blast fishing has been a widespread and accepted fishing technique in Indonesia for over 50 years. The largest coral reef fishery in Indonesia is around the Spermonde archipelago in southwest Sulawesi. With the expanding population and the increasing demand for fish for export, fishing has intensified and fish catches per unit effort are stable or declining. The use of bombs made with a mixture of kerosene and fertilizer is widely prevalent. In the market of the city of Ujung Pendang, an estimated 10-40% of the fish from capture fisheries are caught through blast fishing. This is destroying the hard corals. Blast fishing is seen by the fishers as being much easier and results in higher catches than with other traditional methods. They believe that the only way to limit this practice is with stricter policing and higher fines. An effective management option could be to establish national marine reserves within the archipelago, supported by other income-generating activities.

Ring seines are lightly constructed purse seines adapted for operation in the traditional sector. Fish production and energy requirement in the ring seine operations, off Cochin, Kerala, India are discussed in this paper, based on data collected during 1997- 1998. The results reflect the Gross Energy Requirement (GER) situation that existed during 1997-1998. Mean catch per ring seiner per year worked out to be 211.9 t of which sardines (Sardinella spp.) constituted 44.3%, followed by Indian mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta) 29.7%, carangids 11.4%, penaeid prawns 2.2%, pomfrets 1.1% and miscellaneous fish 11.3%. Total energy inputs into the ring seine operations were estimated to be 1300.8 GJ. Output by way of fish production was determined to be 931.85 GJ. GER is the sum of all non-renewable energy resources consumed in making available a product or service and is a measure of intensity of non-renewable resource use. GER per tonne of fish landed by ring seiners was estimated to be 6.14. Among the operational inputs, kerosene constituted 73.4% of the GER, followed by petrol (12.7%), diesel (6.7%) and lubricating oil (2.4%). Fishing gear contributed 3.8%, engine 0.8% and fishing craft 0.3% of the GER. Energy ratio for ring seining was 0.72 and energy intensity 1.40.
