6-methoxyquercetin-3-0-(6-E-feruloyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside from Paepalanthus polyanthus (Eriocaulaceae)

The new 6-methoxyquercetin-3-O-(6-E-feruloyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1) was isolated from the aerial parts of Paepalanthus polyanthus and characterized by spectroscopic methods, mainly 1D and 2D NMR experiments, as well as electrospray mass spectrometry. In addition four known flavonoids of taxonomic relevance were isolated and identified by comparison to literature data. (C) 2002 Elsevier B.V. Ltd. All rights reserved.

GDP 4.0 transfer to SGP 3.0 for SCIAMACHY no2 column processing: Verification with SDOAS / GDOAS prototype algorithms and delta-validation with NDACC / UV-visible network data

Until mid 2006, SCIAMACHY data processors for the operational retrieval of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) column data were based on the historical version 2 of the GOME Data Processor (GDP). On top of known problems inherent to GDP 2, ground-based validations of SCIAMACHY NO2 data revealed issues specific to SCIAMACHY, like a large cloud-dependent offset occurring at Northern latitudes. In 2006, the GDOAS prototype algorithm of the improved GDP version 4 was transferred to the off-line SCIAMACHY Ground Processor (SGP) version 3.0. In parallel, the calibration of SCIAMACHY radiometric data was upgraded. Before operational switch-on of SGP 3.0 and public release of upgraded SCIAMACHY NO2 data, we have investigated the accuracy of the algorithm transfer: (a) by checking the consistency of SGP 3.0 with prototype algorithms; and (b) by comparing SGP 3.0 NO2 data with ground-based observations reported by the WMO/GAW NDACC network of UV-visible DOAS/SAOZ spectrometers. This delta-validation study concludes that SGP 3.0 is a significant improvement with respect to the previous processor IPF 5.04. For three particular SCIAMACHY states, the study reveals unexplained features in the slant columns and air mass factors, although the quantitative impact on SGP 3.0 vertical columns is not significant.

A presente invenção proporciona derivados piperidínicos, em especial a derivados 3-O-acetil-piperidinil-N-benzil-subsitutídos de fórmula geral (I) e/ou (II). Em especial, tais compostos apresentam atividade inibidora de acetilcolinesterase no sistema nervoso central em ensaios farmacológicos, podendo ser úteis no tratamento de doenças como a Doença de Alzheimer. Também são revelados: um processo para a preparação destes compostos.

Effects of fluazuron (2.5 mg/kg) and a combination of fluazuron (3.0 mg/kg) + abamectin (0.5 mg/kg) on the reproductive parameters of a field population of Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus on experimentally infested cattle

The current study assessed the deleterious effects of two formulations of fluazuron (2.5 mg/kg fluazuron and a combination of 3.0 mg/kg fluazuron + 0.5 mg/kg abamectin) on the reproductive parameters of engorged Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) micro plus females that naturally detached from experimentally infested cattle in two experiments. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that fluazuron (2.5 mg/ kg) showed deleterious effects only on the hatchability percentage in the period of 2-7 post-treatment days of this ectoparasite's engorged females. On the other hand, the fluazuron (3.0 mg/kg) + abamectin (0.5 mg/kg) combination presented harmful effects over reproductive parameters of this tick species. Further studies should be performed with a known tick population (reference susceptible strain) to determine the effect of these formulations on the reproductive parameters and to elucidate if this field population is fluazuron resistant. Laser locking to the Hg-199 S-1(0)-P-3(0) clock transition with 5.4x10(-15)/root tau fractional frequency instability

With Hg-199 atoms confined in an optical lattice trap in the Lamb-Dicke regime, we obtain a spectral line at 265.6 nm for which the FWHM is similar to 15 Hz. Here we lock an ultrastable laser to this ultranarrow S-1(0) - P-3(0) clock transition and achieve a fractional frequency instability of 5.4 x 10(-15) / root tau for tau <= 400 s. The highly stable laser light used for the atom probing is derived from a 1062.6 nm fiber laser locked to an ultrastable optical cavity that exhibits a mean drift rate of -6.0 x 10(-17) s-(1) (-16.9 mHzs(-1) at 282 THz) over a six month period. A comparison between two such lasers locked to independent optical cavities shows a flicker noise limited fractional frequency instability of 4 x 10(-16) per cavity. Sarà necessario capire quali sono le vetrine online dove e come poter vendere i nostri prodotti e profilare attraverso una segmentazione l’utente medio che già utilizza il social-commerce. In seguito si tratta il caso empirico di una start-up italiana, Blomming, una dei primi a differenziarsi dagli altri marketplace più famosi come contenitore adatto ad artigiani, ma non solo. Si seguiranno le varie fasi di crescita da un’idea, introduzione nel mercato fino alla direzione a cui si sta avviando con le ultime novità effettuando un’analisi dei rischi. Infine per capire tendenze e storie di chi sta già usando queste piattaforme è stato necessario fare un profilo dell’artigiano fai-da-te medio intervistando, e successivamente creando grafici, 100 artigiani che già vendono online.
