Ajuste de los ingresos de las encuestas a las Cuentas Nacionales: una revisión de la literatura

En las mediciones de pobreza y desigualdad, una práctica controversial es el ajuste de los ingresos captados en las encuestas a los agregados de cuentas nacionales, procedimiento que busca corregir la subcaptación de los ingresos en las encuestas. En este artículo se analizan las ventajas y desventajas del ajuste de los ingresos, teniendo en cuenta la evaluación que realiza la literatura especializada reciente. La revisión efectuada permite concluir que el ajuste a cuentas nacionales parece tener más desventajas que ventajas, lo cual indica que se debe considerar seriamente la posibilidad de no seguir utilizándolo. El desafío principal parece ser mejorar la captación de ingresos en las encuestas de hogares.

This article had as main objective to discuss, based on literature review, some aspects of low cost devices, to improve the development of clinical practice related to the Occupational Therapy on Physical Rehabilitation. The concept of Activity of Daily Living, Assistive Technology and Adaptations are discussed. At regard of some kinds of adaptations, their cost and benefits, the making of low cost adaptation ad other aspects that an occupational therapist could considerer discussing by the Brazilian experience. The authors recognized that more researches are necessary to develop the knowledge in this field of knowledge, identified by the gaps in the scientific literature concerning this issue.

Sobredentaduras mandibulares inmediatas: revisión de literatura

Conventional complete denture even though well confectioned, could present deficiencies in the retention, stability and support, in addition uncomfortable and retention of food below it. The overdentures have been considered an alternative to resolve problems and negative experiences with the conventional dentures, thus also can be an alternative to the complex treatments (surgical/prosthetic) with implant-supported prosthesis. In the attempt to reduce the healing time for the confection of the dentures showed higher rates of success to the implants when immediate mandibular overdentures were used in the rehabilitation of edentulous patients. The aim of this paper was to discuss by means of a Literature review, the viability of the use of mandibular implant-supported overdentures. The immediate mandibular overdentures have been showed like a reproducible method, predictable and confidence to provide an efficient function to the total edentulous patients.

Implantes tipo plataforma modificada: revisión de literatura

The purpose of this revision was to explore the concept of Platform Switching in implantology and its acting in the clinical practice. The concept of platform switching will be considered together with a revision of pertinent literature, with the purpose of providing guidelines based on scientific evidences. The following databases were used: Pubmed, Library Cochrane and ISI in the last 17 years. The inclusion approaches were: clinical articles, laboratorials and of revision on the topic, in English language. 41 articles were selected, using the describers "platform switching dental implants", "platform shifting and dental implants", "expanded platform dental implant". In accordance with this revision, implant them platform switching they present a rate of more favorable bony remodeling that you implant them conventional. This fact seems to be resulting of a group of biological factors and mechanics. The concept of platform switching has important relevance in the aesthetic area.

Terapéutica alternativa asociada al bruxismo: revisión de literatura

The aim of this study was to review the literature in order to discuss the main and the most effective therapeutic activities to control the nocturnal bruxism. To identify the studies included in this review, it was conducted a detailed and advanced search strategy in the PubMed and Medline databases. It was used as KEY WORDS: bruxism, therapeutics and drug therapy. Inclusion criteria were: case reports, randomized controlled trials, in vitro studies, literature reviews and systematic reviews with or without meta-analysis of the past 10 years that addressed the theme. Exclusion criteria were: articles without abstract, animal studies, articles whose first language was not English and articles from journals that do not belong to the dentario field. From a total of 83 articles, after an analysis according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 33 articles were selected. Despite the fact that there is a small number of prospective clinical studies with high degree of reliability and most studies that evaluated the alternative treatments effectiveness are isolated case reports, the current literature shows that the use of botulinum toxin has been shown to be effective in the control of nocturnal bruxism. On the other hand, important aspects such as transitory effect, safe dosage and application technique are still little discussed, then, further studies are needed to have these doubts clarified.

Echeverría leído desde Chile : Poesía, paisaje y políticas de la crítica (notas para una revisión sobre romanticismo y literatura nacional)

El estudio Juicio crítico sobre algunos poetas hispanoamericanos de Miguel Luis y Gregorio Víctor Amunátegui -una compilación de diversos ensayos que incluye uno sobre la obra de Esteban Echeverría-, presenta una evaluación crítica y, en buena medida, polémica dado que en ellos se discuten y ajustan valores y concepciones poéticas que durante las dos décadas anteriores se habían estado debatiendo en el campo cultural chileno. En ese contexto, el ensayo dedicado a Echeverría resulta particularmente sugerente al momento de evaluar la discusión sobre una literatura nacional a ambos lados de la cordillera, dado que varios de los tópicos consagrados por los "románticos" argentinos -tópicos destacados, además, por Juan María Gutiérrez en la América poética, publicada en Valparaíso en 1846- son reconsiderados a la luz de una tradición literaria que en Santiago ya empezaba a dar muestras incipientes de consolidación, a partir justamente de la depuración de un programa de literatura nacional en cuyo centro la estética del romanticismo fue arduamente debatida
