The present work is the analysis of the practices and techniques currently used in the final allocation given to organic household solid waste in the city of Rio Claro - SP. As the major part of Rio Claro’s household solid waste is formed by the organic fraction, as well as in the rest of the country, this research proposes a study on what is done with that portion of the waste, its treatment and where finally destined, based on the National Solid Waste Politic, recently approved in 2010. With the use of this organic part, for example: as animal feed supplement or compost embodiment for the purpose of producing organic fertilizer, enables the decrease of the percentage of the total destined to dumps and landfills. This total percentage has already been reduced after the popularization of the beneficial recycling programs in Brazil, which are still growing. As cities and the purchasing power of its individuals grow, there is also a consequent growth of waste production by society. The household whether domestic solid waste are lower than Industrial Solid ( RSI ) waste for the production in million tons ( Mton ) quantities , however, those residues are more visible on a daily basis - in cities and periphery as well, due to the inadequate management, - and also offer , as well as industrial and agricultural wastes , several types of harmful effects to the population when managed incorrectly. Therefore, the research aims to assist in the study of Solid Waste Management (MSW) for efficient Urban and Environmental Planning in a midsize city. Thus, this project aims to analyze in the city of Rio Claro, how the allocation of these materials is done and whether these practices denote effective improvement regarding the proper management of waste, in the same way that the recycling chain would allow this effect

Inclusão escolar de um aluno com autismo: descrevendo práticas de alfabetização em uma escola pública - ciclo I

Learning the written language has been the subject of research and study of various sciences in recent decades, in the same way that inclusion in regular education of students with disabilities such as autism, also has been the subject of discussions in the academic and even political. However, it can be observed that these two topics are disjointed, despite the importance of ownership of the system of writing by students with autism, because that would be a way to facilitate social interaction, which is the principal difficulty of this students. This research intend to describe the inclusion process of a student with autism into a common room of the initial years, in a public school, observing which are the strategies used by the teacher in the literacy process, as well as analyze the collaborative process developed by the researcher. The methodology was a qualitative and collaborative research, the kind of case study. The participants were a teacher and her students, from the cycle I of Primary School of a public school, among which, one is diagnosed with autism. The instruments used to the data’s analysis were interviews, with the teacher and the mother of the student with autism; the written productions of the student during the research; camp diary; and the observations made during the research. To the interventions, were used alternative practices, including material production (a mobile alphabet and a album of photos), that make more easy the process of literacy, The results showed the great difficulty in performing the interventions in a collaborative process, considering that in the observations, it was found that the practices of this teacher were traditional, and also there was no planning, on her part, content to be deal with the students. Conhecimento em movimento nas práticas de extensão universitária da Cia. Éxciton

A Companhia Éxciton é um projeto de extensão universitária da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, campus de Rio Claro. O projeto se ocupa com a criação de trabalhos com dança, arte e expressão, que são oferecidos para toda comunidade universitária e público em geral. Com essa abertura ao grande público, a intenção da Cia. é democratizar o contato da população com atividades artísticas, culturais e educativas, através de aulas abertas, intervenções, performances e apresentações de espetáculos, expandindo as atividades do projeto para além dos muros da universidade. Tendo em vista este quadro de ações de extensão universitária, essa pesquisa buscou compreender como esses trabalhos da Cia. se constituem como práticas de produção de conhecimento que refletem não só na formação universitária de seus integrantes, mas também na formação de todo aquele que se envolve com o projeto. Para tanto, foi feito uma análise dos documentos oficiais deste projeto e uma análise sobre a noção de projeto de extensão dentro do contexto da formação acadêmica. A partir destas compreensões, descrevemos o processo de criação dos espetáculos produzidos nos anos de 2012 e 2013 Desvenda-$e e Em Obras, respectivamente, desta forma, mapeamos os modos, através dos quais a Cia. Éxciton mobilizou suas ações de extensão neste período. Com essas medidas foi possível compreender a natureza do conhecimento gerado neste projeto e perceber seu alcance na formação integral daqueles que nele se envolvem
