A imprensa em Lins: análise das dinâmicas sociais e urbanas em O Progresso, 1925-1927 O Linense, 1928-1929

O trabalho de conclusão de curso, que tem por tema “A imprensa interiorana: análise das dinâmicas sociais e urbanas em O Progresso, 1925-1927 e O Linense, 1928-1929”, visa analisar os periódicos aqui apontados, enquanto representativos dos jornais circulantes no interior paulista do início do século XX, inseridos dentro de um contexto de urbanização das cidades do noroeste do estado de São Paulo, mais especificamente, Lins. Esses periódicos serão, portanto, objeto de estudo e, concomitantemente, as principais ferramentas de pesquisa sobre a cidade aqui estudada e de identificação das temáticas relativas ao assunto cidade/urbano. Este trabalho serve como um complemento à pesquisa de iniciação científica “A Imprensa em Lins: temas da cidade e do urbano em O Progresso, 1925-1927 e O Linense, 1928-1929”, que teve como proposta fazer o levantamento de temas sobre a vida, as transformações e as dinâmicas urbanas de Lins, município do oeste paulista, mapeando diversas dimensões da cidade publicadas nos jornais O Progresso, do período de 1925 a 1927 e O Linense, de 1928 a 1929. Dessa maneira, o trabalho visa contribuir para os estudos sobre as cidades da Zona Noroeste paulista e, a partir da análise dos jornais, realizar uma leitura da imprensa interiorana do início do século XX em São Paulo. Cabe salientar que a pesquisa está vinculada ao Projeto Temático “Saberes Eruditos e Técnicos na Configuração e Reconfiguração do Espaço Urbano – Estado de São Paulo, séculos XIX e XX (processo 05/55338-0)”, com coordenação do grupo de professores da Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunicação da UNESP-Bauru. O subtema desse projeto, sob a responsabilidade específica do orientador Célio José Losnak, chama-se “As dimensões política e cultural da circulação dos saberes nas cidades do oeste paulista: legislação, processos decisórios... The discussion of this paper focuses on the search for demarcation of the Momo merriments in the city of São Paulo between 1960 and 1964, aiming to apprehend their specific traits at that juncture. It is known that the Brazilian Carnival, and in its sphere the São Paulo City one, has been steadily becoming enshrined in profile by popular segments. However, in that decade onset such festivities were going through certain peculiarities because it was a period characterized by many changes. The city of São Paulo, particularly, was experiencing an accelerated process of urbanization and consequent massification, as well as a moment of significant expansion of the cultural industry and mass communication means. Were the Momo revels immune to this process? What was the profile of these amusements in the city?

Imprensa italiana em São Paulo e o fascismo: o Fanfulla (1921-1942)

This article intends to verify the Fanfulla's action in the dynamic of the political propaganda, as well as the cultural exchanges established with the fascism during 1922-1924. The leading question is insert on the political culture studies concerned with the significance of the fascism spread among the Italian immigrants and his descendants located on the Sao Paulo State. It unfold in others questions: the reason of the Mussolini government pledge to publish those ideas, the themes approached in this propaganda, the reactions it rise, as well on the Italian community, the Brazilian government and political movements. On this issue is included the position of the Brazilian government, on the Brazilian diplomacy or in the repressive agencies toward fascist Italy and the supporters of the fascism. The choice of the newspaper Fanfulla is justified for its position in the historiography, considered the most expressive source for this study, due its longevity, relations with the fascist regime and diffusion on Sao Paulo State.

This article aims to analyze the movement of weavers' strike (according to an specific context), its origins, actions and consequences, prompting the internal system of factories (their regulations), the hierarchical relationships of power, and struggles to guarantee the right of association, which resulted in the stoppage of all activities of the textile sector. The attitude to go on a strike, mobilizations and the stroll show that the direction of the movement and the working class were aware of their actions and those likely consequences, what signalize, beforehand, the ideological, classist and political character of women´s actions: radicalized by the practices of confronting the authoritarianism employers and threats (police repression, harassment of the press). They endured through the collective support and a network of solidarity

NABANTINO RAMOS O MODERNIZADOR DA IMPRENSA PAULISTA

Reconstituindo a história de vida e a trajetória profissional de José Nabantino Ramos, esta tese pretende demonstrar e compreender seu pioneirismo na modernização do complexo jornalístico conhecido como Folhas , bem como discernir o valor da contribuição que ele trouxe ao jornalismo brasileiro. Para tanto, o autor recorreu ao método da observação, valendo-se tanto da análise de documentos, consultando arquivos e bibliotecas, quanto da história oral, por intermédio de entrevistas não estruturadas. Desta maneira foi possível comprovar que Nabantino Ramos contribuiu de forma decisiva para a organização e sistematização do processo jornalístico brasileiro, buscando no jornalismo norte-americano a base para as mudanças que introduziu nos jornais do Grupo Folha de S.Paulo.
