Educação Literária e formação de leitores: da leitura 'em si' para leitura 'para si'

This article deals with the relationship between the reader formation and the teaching of strategies of reading. We based our discussion in reading and childhood literature researchers as: Arena (2007a, 2007b, 2008 and 2010), Bajard (2002), Chiappini (1997), Coelho (2000), Cosson (2007), Foucambert (1994), Harvey & Goudivs (2007), Perroti (1986), Smith (1999), Soares (1999), Solé (2009), Zilberman (2005), and others. We dialogue with some points from the historical-cultural perspective, having a strong focus on a humanitarian literary education in elementary schools.

O uso social da leitura e as práticas pedagógicas em sala de aula: construção de conhecimentos e formação de leitores

This research aimed at studying the social role of reading, its importance in building knowledge and training of readers, as well as reflect on the teaching of reading in schools, with children in the literacy process. For their achievement, were used as theoretical support authors who are dedicated to the study of language, thematic reading, and phenomena that occur through it in the school environment, especially those of Bakhtin, Kleiman, Chartier, Foucambert, among others . The research was carried out using the approach of qualitative research, using participatory action research, through which the researcher could have direct contact with the observed phenomena, to participate and collect the participants' actions in its natural context, the from their perspective and their views. As for collecting and analyzing data, we used the tools of questionnaire, interview and participant observation. Its subjects a literacy class and their respective teacher, in 2009. By analyzing this information, one can draw a picture of reading in the school environment and teaching practices that surround this object. The results of the literature survey and data analysis suggest that reading is a social practice, and as such has indispensable social function in society today. And the school, one of the greatest instruments of contact with the world of letters, therefore, of reading for children means not literate, have key role in developing and training of readers who are aware of the importance of reading and perpetuate this practice in their daily lives. Similarly, subjects of research, have achieved an advanced level of literacy and understand the social role of reading and its importance to live in society, in which they belong

A emergência do pluralismo teórico-metodológico na alfabetização: em busca de uma prática pedagógica para formar escritores

This qualitative research was performed with the goal of investigating the contributions of theoretical and methodological perspectives in the alphabetization process, aiming to train proficient writers of texts with communicative function. Hence, such were the goals established for this research: giving a retrospective look on the synthetic and analytic methods of teaching literacy; verifying the possibilities and limits of theoretical and methodological approaches of acquiring the ability to write and identifying the teachers’ ideas concerning basic concepts (such as literacy, text and textual genres) imbued in the teaching of writing; and establishing which activities they develop in the course of teaching whether the pedagogical practices of the teacher observed contributed to the formation of students who were capable of producing significant texts of diverse genres, suitable to the objectives, to the readers, and to the context of the circulation of texts. The research was done in a public elementary school, in a 2nd grade class of the city of Jaú. Subjects of the research were four teachers and twenty-eight children. For this work, two instruments were used for data collecting: a questionnaire and direct observation, registered in research diaries. Among the observations made were that, although there are many studies on literacy, the practices actually adopted in class are empirical in nature and do not contribute to the process of developing individual writing or reading skills at all; rather, it is only valued the ability of establishing relations between phonemes and graphemes; literacy teachers do not have adequate knowledge of concepts of literacy, teaching, text and textual genres, valuing only one methodological theory and disregarding other contributions on the field of text production

Estudo da prática de escritores contemporâneos guineenses

The aim of this final essay is to study the writing practice of contemporary writers from Guinea Bissau, one of the countries of the former Portuguese colony, where the literature has developed very late, due to the lack of socio-cultural conditions for the development of the this practice. This happened because the country was delay was under colonial exploitation for a long time, under the command of the portuguese government. Among the elements that explain this situation is the presence of a restrictive and longcolonial education policy.The interest of this research consists in issues relating to the practice of writing and identity, It is an exploratory study which aims to gather information and reflect a) on discourses of contemporary Guinean writers about their writing practice and b) journalistic and academic discourses about the writing practice of these writers. The search of the corpus is made mainly on the Internet and the time frame set for the talks is collected from 1990 to 2010. The issues that guide the research are: 1) How is the writing practice of these writers ?, 2) What is the purpose of writing in this socio-historical context?, 3) What are the consequences of this practice for the production of the identity of these individuals? The results have revealed that: the practice of writing have a important role in the production of Guineansubject identity, because it has been related to the identity and political movements; the use of native languages and Creole in these practices, is indicative of the attempt to build in writing, an identity for the self who writes and for the other represented. This identity speaks to the cultural manifestations of the African people

O citar no Twitter: o caso de Clarice Lispector

The phenomenon of the World Wide Web, the Internet, has revolutionized the way we live in a contemporary relevance. The relationships among people have changed since the media also changed: the cyberspace has been established as an important vehicle of communication in which different languages, cultures and peoples coexist. Within the virtual space there are several fica possibilities for communication, interaction, fun, knowledge etc. Everything happens extremely quickly. An interesting example of that are blogs that, to survive virtuality, require constant updating. It has become interesting to notice the factor of personal expressiveness taking a new shape in the context of network, before being seen in elements such as diaries, poetry, artistic production or debate. The chances and, thus, the need to find people to interact and to share interests has taken a gigantic proportion, and, in this way, sources of audiovisual and reading activities are always in vogue, being shared every second. Blogging can be about different subjects, but what is perceived on all blogs is the strong trace of written text is always presented. Twitter has established itself as a microblogging network for the expression of dynamism, information sharing and interaction. Thus, it was interesting to approach the manner language is expressed in these microblogs thinking about the way that literary discourse is constructed when is seen, on quotations, in the context of this social network: Twitter. Being able to attest the great increase on the occurrences of quotes from different literary genres, it was useful to pay attention to this fact. In Brazil, Twitter has thousands of users, fans and readers, that rewrite and quote authors. The number of quotations is so abundant that it has popularized several Brazilian writers, such as: Clarice Lispector and Caio Fernando Abreu; authors that are frequetenly quoted. As práticas de escrita de escritores emergentes na internet

The present work has as object of study the writing practices of emergent writers on the internet, more precisely their blogs and websites. Literary blogs came up as an option so that emergent writers could make public their works more easily, since the process of publishing books through publishing houses is lengthy e more limited. Through readings of Bakhtin and The Circle texts, we used some concepts, such as discourse genres and dialog, to make a dialogical analysis of the corpus. The main focus of this work are the dialog relations found in blogs and the different ways they appear, for instance the dialog established between writer and reader and the dialog between the discourse genres found in the blogs and other genres. The study of the relation writer/reader is very important, because there is a change in the way the reader receives the text depending on the support through which it is diffused, just like there is a change in the relation between reader and writer, who become closer

Trocas simbólicas entre gerações: avós, netos e a literatura infantil

This work aims at understanding the intergenerational relationships between grandparents and grandchildren in contemporary society. To this end, we analyze two works of Children's Literature as a form of manifestation of the importance of symbolic exchanges between generations. Selected Menina Nina: duas razões para não chorar, Ziraldo (2002) and A menina, o cofrinho e a vovó by Cora Coralina (2009). We adopt a psychoanalytic reading as a reference for analysis, since it excels in psychic construction of the individual, his unconscious design and its interaction with the socio-cultural environment , which allows to explore and reflect on the links between generations , thus serving as a research method and interpretation of relationships within the family . We confirm our hypothesis with writers - grandparents, here represented by Ziraldo and Cora Coralina, which produced works that highlight the experience with their grandchildren. Thus, grandparents, grandchildren and readers are active in recovery and symbolic transmission characters.
