Civilização, sexualidade e entropia no pensamento de Freud

This article intends to offer, in an introductory way, a reflection in order to build an interpretation of the Sigmund Freud's thought, orchestrating notions such as the ones of progress of civilization, which would be his philosophy of history; an investigation on his conceptions about "human nature"; culminating in a brief reflection on some points of philosophy of nature that underlies his thought. We anticipate that we recognize in the latter, characteristics assimilated by analogy to the entropy concept of modern physics. Among other features, such as compared and methodological reference with some of Kant's theses about the same notions, we also present in a short way two metapsychological aspects of Freudian theory on human sexuality, the biological and physiological, both aiming to give support to the reflections on the sense of finality.

Atuação profissional e vivência do cirurgião-dentista na estratégia do programa de saúde da família

The purpose of this research was to analyze the working profile of dentists from the Family Health Program (PSF Programa de Saúde da Família, Brasil) of some Municipal Districts of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil) in order to understand the way they handle the experience acquired with the work developed in that Program. This discussion evolves a reflection about the perspectives of consolidation of the FHP as well as the possible advancements of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS - Sistema Único de Saúde). The target population was composed of dentists from the FHP of Rio Grande do Norte. Thus we performed twenty-one interviews orientated by a semi-structured guidebook with open questions and identification data. We opted for recording the speech of all the professionals in order to ensure the accuracy of the information gathered. The main results found were: predominance in the female gender; the majority of dentists has no post graduation courses; in those few cases of dentists with some post-graduation a lack of correlation with Public or Collective Health was observed; the dentists interviewed present a profile directed to clinical activities; the dentists used to develop basic restorative and periodontic treatment, simple surgeries and educative and preventive activities, even though the last two ones are carried out in an extremely traditional way (lectures and topical application of fluoride). In addition, as biggest difficulties to manage the work dentists pointed out the lack of permanent and consumer material, inadequate infrastructure, no transport to take them to distant places, no integration with the Health Family Team, technical difficulty such to perform educative and preventive activities as to provide adequate service to a repressed lawsuit. The results indicate the existence of a necessity to lead them to reflect and redirect their practices. In order to reach this aim it must be considered as initial measure the investment and encouragement toward to permanent education as well as a close follow-up and evaluation of the actions developed by them

A infância no âmbito do discurso dos parâmetros curriculares nacionais

The educational institution, committed to the production and transmission of knowledge, has increasingly revealed a specific dimension of that commitment, which is to form people und to produce certain kinds of subjectivity. The child is involved in a context of subjectivity production becoming the object of expectations; expectations arising from the demands of a globalized world, and based upon a discourse of specialized fields of scientific knowledge relative to childhood. The purpose of the present work is to analyse the discourse found in the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais - PCNs (National Curriculum Guidelines) as concerns the first four years of Elementary education, trying to disclose its ideas and conceptions about the subject-child. Conceiving this discourse as an ideological phenomenon in which the word becomes the central stage where contradictory values are confronted, according to Bakhtin thinking, the analysis constitutes an effort to point out the voices which supply its basis, in what it reveals about the child. Assertions such as "preparing children for the working market", or for "exercising their citizenship", among others which can be found in the institutionalized pedagogical discourse, are stated in a universalized and normative sense, and have become the object of doubt and criticism. The investigation on the implicit and explicit conceptions about childhood as revealed in the PCNs, whose spokesperson has been the school, serves as the starting point for a series of other studies and reflections intended to pave the way for the implementation of educational processes which allow for singular manifestations of the subject-child

A experiência da criança com a droga :características do uso e circunstâncias familiares

The study is a reflexion of the use of drugs among children, pointing that as one of the most serious social problem nowadays. Customize the abuse of drugs reflecting on the childhood and the family s influence of the problem of the children that use drugs, is the main objective of this thesis. Choosing the qualitative method of research, the investigation starts with the reports of the children and mothers assisted at Centro de Referência e Apoio à Criança e ao Adolescente Usuários de Drogas, program of specialized assistance of 1ª Vara da Infância e da Juventude de Natal/RN. The research was done through semi-structured interviews, in a total of six subjects: three children and their respective mothers. Through the reports of the subjects, it is brought theorical reflexions that illustrates their perceptions and conceptions about topics like the usage of drugs, the circumstances the usage of drugs was started, the family s structure and dynamic, the situation on the streets, and other factors that affect the development of a child in her/his environment. It is proved that the usage of drugs in Brazil, problem that has been increasing the number of children affected by, is a multi faceted and complex phenomenon but some factors of social and family risks deserve to be pointed out like the manner of support future actions in the prevention area

Desvelando as teias de Pinóquio :concepções de família em jovens moradores de bairros periféricos

This thesis discusses family as a social and historical construction and concerns to the perceptions developed by the peripheral youth living in suburbs. It investigates the speeches of young boys and girls who take part in Engenho de sonhos a forum composed by a pool of eleven non-governmental organizations and UFRN which aim is the elaboration and execution of projects focusing local development of poor communities in violence and social exclusion context. Throughout interactive diagnosis seminars in five communities in West Side of Natal with six hundred teenagers, it was detected the need to work with family relationships. In order to build the methodological corpus a range variety of procedures were done such as: interviews, focal groups and psychosocial questionnaires with nine local young leaders. The purpose to understand data guided the research through the theory of social imagery and pointed out the following themes: conceptions, relationship, roles, family projects. Live stories of these young population reveals conflicts when it comes to the configuration of family ties, far from the family model stated by society. Family is also, in their perception, an important space to the development of affection, in experiences of all sorts, affecting personality development and determining behaviors in local contexts. The research concludes stating the urge to comprehend this academic work as a way to fight against symbolic and emotional poverty in family context producing discussions and critical reflection in a permanent relation between juvenile social vulnerability (characterized by lacks of all orders) and potential

Qualidade de vida no trabalho do enfermeiro da Atenção Básica à Saúde

OBJETIVOS: Apreender as concepções e experiências de enfermeiros sobre qualidade de vida e qualidade de vida no trabalho na Atenção Básica à Saúde. MÉTODOS: Estudo descritivo de abordagem qualitativa, realizado no interior paulista, Brasil, com oito enfermeiros cujos depoimentos foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo, na vertente temática. RESULTADOS: Os enfermeiros apresentaram concepções ampliadas sobre qualidade de vida e qualidade de vida no trabalho, em geral, apresentando-se satisfeitos quanto às mesmas. Entretanto, foram apontados entraves comprometedores da qualidade de vida dos profissionais no contexto estudado determinados, principalmente, pela falta/inadequação de recursos materiais, humanos e ambientais, bem como pelo processo de trabalho estabelecido. CONCLUSÃO: Embora haja o reconhecimento da satisfação em trabalhar na Atenção Básica à Saúde, os problemas apontados revelam a importância de se mobilizar maior atenção dos profissionais e gestores para o tema.

Formação dos educadores ambientais e paradigmas em transição

Este artigo trata dos pressupostos teóricos presentes na formação dos educadores ambientais nos cursos de graduação das universidades e resulta da tese de doutorado da autora. Esses pressupostos definem um quadro teórico analisado a partir do referencial metodológico do materialismo históricodialético. Esse quadro teórico pode ser organizado, pelo núcleo das representações dos professores, em concepções naturais, racionais e históricas da relação homem-natureza e da educação. A análise dessas tendências revela um movimento de superação dos paradigmas tradicionais presentes na organização curricular na universidade.

A temática ambiental e as diferentes compreensões dos professores de física em formação inicial

Procuramos identificar as concepções dos licenciandos de física em relação à temática ambiental, bem como analisamos as propostas por eles elaboradas e os obstáculos que se lhes apresentam quando decidem tratar alguns aspectos da problemática ambiental em suas atividades de ensino. Os dados foram coletados a partir do desenvolvimento de algumas atividades na disciplina de Prática de Ensino oferecida a alunos concluintes de um curso de Licenciatura em Física de uma universidade pública no estado de São Paulo. Os dados evidenciam que as concepções que os licenciandos elaboram sobre a temática ambiental podem tornar-se obstáculos para a incorporação desses aspectos em suas propostas de ensino. da mesma forma, não há, por parte dos licenciandos, uma compreensão mais ampla quanto ao significado da temática ambiental, quanto às implicações do movimento ambientalista para as práticas culturais e pedagógicas e possibilidades de exploração de temas ambientais associados a propostas de ensino de física.

Concepções de homens hospitalizados sobre a relação entre gênero e saúde

A saúde masculina é ainda pouco discutida. Estudos mostram que há um padrão social hegemônico sobre o masculino que influencia comportamentos preventivos de homens diante da saúde. Esta pesquisa, qualitativo-descritiva, investigou por meio da análise de conteúdo de entrevistas de dois homens hospitalizados, as suas concepções sobre gênero e saúde/adoecimento. Sob o ponto de vista masculino, homens e mulheres ficam doentes igualmente, embora as mulheres cuidem mais e preventivamente da sua saúde devido ao corpo reprodutivo. Os homens cuidam menos da saúde porque têm dificuldades em se afastar do trabalho, procuram por ajuda médica apenas diante de situações críticas que impõem limites na vida social e adoecem de modo mais severo. As concepções identificadas enfatizam a necessidade de elaboração de políticas públicas, que visem promover a saúde, específicas à população masculina.

História da Matemática em contextos da Educação Matemática: contribuições do GPHM

In this article we tried to show the paths outlined during the past years by the Research Group on History of Mathematics and/or its relations with Mathematics Education (GPHM) at UNESP in Rio Claro - Brazil, as well as the contributions we believe we have made to Mathematics Education. The group's production has focused on issues that address the history of institutions and characters, linked to the history of disciplines, concepts and learning materials. Also, in broader terms of mathematics education, this article presents results from research that supports the understanding of teachers' conceptions about the use of History of Mathematics in the classroom; material on the history of mathematics accessible to the teacher; the presence of the history of mathematics in textbooks; proposed introductions of real numbers; and the subject of Analysis in teacher education and training.
